the ending is satisfying! Many kdramas dealing with similar subject in recent years end with either ambiguous or unsatisfactory ending, thankfully this one tied up most of the loose ends with a neat bow while keeping the door open for a second season if they plan to make it!
Would have made more sense to cast Jung Kyung-ho as the male lead. The character looks and gives same vibe as Jung Kyung-ho than Namkoong Min. 4 episode in and loving it so far
a materialistic mean girl falls in love with a fat guy who used to have a crush on her all his life and turned down everytime until he miraculously turns into a handsome hunk. Lol 😂
kept the door open for an American spin off with Cate Blanchett. But the white actors in this were so bad 😂 Much better than Season 2 but nothing tops season 1. Should just have been a limited series with one season
Meh. Found the ML and his choices too annoying. Didn't feel too sad for him. It was boring for most parts except the last episode. Pushed through only because it was 10 episodes. Only the last episode salvaged the drama for me
one of the best sageuk I have ever watched. Every episode is entertaining. Not too depressing or sad nor too bland or uninteresting. Also deals with modern themes even though set in a historical time period. Liked the characters as well. a show that kept me interested right from the midway point of episode 1 to the last episode. Every episode is a kind of adventure with equal amount of tension, sadness as well as happy and joyful moments. The screenplay is quite crisp and really good for binge watching!!
The antagonists didn't suffer as much as I wanted them to. Instead of a clean ending for everyone at least they deserved to suffer. Quite an underwhelming ending
love almost all the popular dramas starting IU. when life gives you tangerines is my favourite but why does IU always have sad or bittersweet endings!! Can't the girl get a break for a change and at least one drama where she gets a perfect happy ending. I guess WLGYT is the only one that does
Despite the good things I read online this wasn't as entertaining as I thought it would be. Only reason I kept watching was the female lead. She carries the entire show. The Male Lead was so boring even the way his character was written was quite frustrating
