Comparing zombie shows to aouad is insane. Aouad was good but nothing amazing really. TONS of better zombie shows…
exactly! and it's even harder to find good ones in the already limited quantity. train to busan and kingdom(both seasons) are genuinely great in that niche.
I am guessing one of the reasons they cast her in these cute roles is because she does them well and so naturally,…
that is the drama(my journey to you) i said was different from her other works and i was very impressed by her performance there but then again that was the only exception. i get what you're saying and i think it's smart of her to capitalise on the thing that sells well, but she is catering to the only niche that works. she is not challenging herself like i said earlier. and i'm sure she has the potential for that only if she stops accepting roles that are monotonous because i bet she is very sought out actress.
I love drama with a good storyline and great chemistry. And this drama has plenty of it.
Also, why do I always see Esther Yu portraying the same personality in different dramas, except for that one historical drama she was in? Even in real life, she seems the same—cute, bubbly, and charming. I want her to take on roles that challenge her rather than just being there. She doesn’t even try to step out of her cute persona, let alone her entire personality. Not that I hate her being cute and bubbly—in fact, I think it suits her, and she isn’t forcing it—but is that all she has to offer?
I have no problem with her voice (funny how I feel the need to mention that too), but there’s just no variation. I can't deny that she is a good actress, but she is extremely one-dimensional.
The 2025 Korean supernatural film, «검은 수녀들» («Black Nuns»), is the sequel to the 2015 Korean supernatural…
I don't think I'll risk watching the third one, if the ratings aren't any better next time around. Idk about the continuity but it certainly seemed aimless and shallow. And you're right, the y indeed made some good dialogues in this one, not that I watched the prequel, but it was still refreshing to see the demon get apparently more lines than the shaman lol.
You're like wikipedia, source of endless info lmao.
genuinely think it's not for everyone but i love camp horror, but it does gradually get better and better. I think…
I don't think it's exclusively camp horror, but I get why it might come off that way because of the comedy. I've grown up watching camp horror movies, and this one feels quite different. The comedy is absurd—sometimes it misses, but when it hits, I pass out laughing.
