The potatoes are holding me back from watching this. Given that it's a kdrama, I feel like he must be arrogant, cold, rude towards fl. But, the comments here say the fl is no better.

I think she delivered throughout the show. It was prolly because of the show's concept in the first few episodes that people found her as a bad actress. But yeah, I loved this scene too.

They give a Lil teaser of the upcoming episode a day before on their yt channel. So you'll have to wait for 5 days.

Agreed. People would've loved it more without the comedy aspects. But, i think they did what they had to with it, and it's a solid attempt in making a non-generic drama. We already have enough 'all of us are dead'.

I was gagging at the camera angle in the staff only area, the entire metro scene, the beautifully done gore, the cinematography, that lil grandma and grandson scene, the grated grandma scene, the chemistry between su jeong and that soldier, ARON PARK, the entire fixing of chain saw machine scene- did i really just mention the entire episode?! lol. The only thing i cringed at was Paulo, this guy was really unnecessary, or maybe they added him to act corny.

This show keeps getting better with each episode!! It's definitely going to make it to my top 10 shows of the year. The camera angles and the bgm are enough to make me laugh—imagine what the absurd comedy is doing to me!

True, synopsis and trailers in cdramas aren't inherently interesting. It's always the episodes that set the scene.

Strongly agree. The only setback i see of this show is the writing and the "momentum break" in watching this, like you said.

Ikr. Even on IMDB Newtopia is rated 6.8 something, which btw is not the worst, but bad enough to not watch the show. I personally don't think the show is inherently bad to deserve such ratings and a critical viewer like me is enjoying it lol, so i'm surprised.

In squid game 2, i think it's the disappointment of not being like the first season, and like you said the ending pissed people off. The split in seasons was done by netflix so they are to blame for that.

I agree. The writing could've been much better but I think the amount of creativity this show has, needs to be appreciated.
