What is the different between English and English CC?
English CC is Closed Caption which is primary for people who have hearing issues (so you will find the soundedfects and BG scores are also explained in the text) where as subtitles are for people who don't understand the langauge, so you will only find dialogues in the text below. What's happening here is the English CC version is just a transcription of the English dubbing, and hence it's not as accurate as the normal subtitles (which is giving more context in this case) as it was translated properly directly from Korean
I'm pretty sure the English CC is usually the dub version, that's why it's not that good.
*sigh* who would have thought the things would go downhill like this with the advent of technology! Btw, are you still working as a translator somewhere?
Those subtitles are horrendous - thanks for a tip!
Hahahahah... Exactly 💯. But it highly careless of Netflix to make such a silly mistake. And now I am thinking maybe the 7.7 rating can be due to this subtitle error
If having trouble Understand Dialogues/scene/conversation (cos they aren't making sense ) while watching on NetFlix, try switching from English CC to English... It's much better. !! Thank me Later
I don’t know why, but I've watched this specific scene twice now, and still can't quite understand what happened.…
btw... I just switched the subtitles from English CC to English (on Netflix), and it's clearer now I think. She basically said that she wasn't serious about him and just wanted to make him fall for her, to protect her own pride. That's it ! . I switched the subtitles because in the End of the first episode (or maybe it was the second) there was something missing in the English CC one, so I had switched it for jma sex and forums it was there..maybe that's the issue

I came here for exactly the same scene. I thought that maybe they had a translation issue, or what. Cos its so damn clear what both of them want, the FL also realised that he did indeed like her and cleared our the air with the other girl. And even in her expression it's so clear that she understands there is a misunderstanding. She just has to say, 'Oh, I thought you are leaving me for her...that's why I said it' and it would have been sorted. If it wasn't a translation issue, then the dialogue and plot for this scene was poorly done in my opinion. They completely failed to make a misunderstanding which has any substance in it
between these two conversation felt like i need a interpreter/translator to translate there love languages...sometimes…
Exactly.. I am at episode 6 rn and I was thinking that maybe the messed up the translation or is it really how it's written. Sometimes it literally makes no sense !
Spoilers please.1. What episode do they get together?2. Any breakups. How much episode?3 Any love triangle?4.…
hahaha.. I think you might be looking for the wrong reasons to see this series in my opinion. It's not that kind of series !...If you go in with these questions/expectations, you might be disappointed
But if you want something, let me give you something 😜, the FL doesn't believe in Love so asks the ML to ______ her instead (this is in the starting few episodes). there are kisses but they are just passing kisses and not a big scene and so on.
Lol stop watching then, they will use cliches, tropes etc over and over has worked for over 40 years what would…
People are getting to reactive nowadays for some reason. I already mentioned that Chessy romcoms are my guilty pleasure. It's just that I want a little novelty in the genre.
oh btw , I do watch documentaries a lot as well. But still thanks for the kind words
Tropes are the building blocks of any plot in a fast-moving industry like TV. They can be boring if done badly,…
aah, so JKY is holding you to the series? ðŸ¤ðŸ˜†... Makes sense... Happened with be as well when I was watching Backstreet Rookie.. was only and to finish it cos of the FL 😆ðŸ¤

It's not like I didn't see it. I am on the 7th episode.. it's just that He saved her again when she fell down the mountain and some how it triggered me ! Same things keeps happen.. The damsel in distress needing constant saving from the rich chaebol. Maybe it because of mindset that I am currently in that it hit me like this.
cos I do understand the comforting point that you are making and indeed that is why K rom come are my guilty pleasures, but some how this one didn't match with my mental wavelength for some reason (even tho it's execution is better than many other famous rom coms with similer trope)
That's how korean rom-coms are. Try thrillers like Flower of Evil or The Glory.I honestly love this drama even…
same. I didn't like some of the most famous Kdramas (Descendants of the sun, vincenzo, welcome to Waikiki etc) I didn't hate them, but I just didn't found them worth the hype

Imagine ruining a series and it's rating due to translation error

They did nothing wrong towards the end, but it's just that the middle part was too good for me.
