In the real world, people understand marketing tactics...the manufactured "protect your idol" thing. I have worked with marketing folks. So many of these young fans are unaware that "protect your idol/BL" is actually a well thought out marketing tactic to use people's emotions. That's what brings traffic. There are better stories are queer content (for example, your name engraved herein) in the same language where the content is truly worth praising.
This drama reeks of fetishization of gay men for women...All the people who made the drama know it. This is exactly the audience they wanted to target. They didn't actually give any depth to it on purpose and if you think they are sorry for giving it soft porn flavor, you're wrong.
