I am GLAD someone could say this. In romance dramas, her overacting is generally hidden but it became VERY VERY OBVIOUS to me in Guardians of Dafeng where they had a seasoned cast. Then I watched her general drama....and she has done overacting MULTIPLE TIMES 😭.

These type of drama writers don't sell logic. They sell emotion. They know that the girls will love it...so they have put it in that way. They hardly utilise female strengths that can realistically be used to defeat men. Only the women who have actually fought men are realistic about these things. For example, female wresters etc. Will tell you that they can't defeat brute strength of a man in their weight category (let alone in a battle where there are no rules). The people who have never fought men will believe the drama. Let them enjoy it. Nobody thinks about these things in detail in romance fantasies
Court things are the most important aspect of the drama... its deeply reflective of rights of working class and women at that time and adds a lot of depth to the story. Also, I appreciate ML's flaws as a character because I genuinely hate perfect leads created for unrealistic fantasy like Ken dolls. The sister is cute and she doesn't really come between them?
