Hahaha definitely not the weird one! I laugh out loud at your commentary because I think most of us have the same reactions. This show is f*cking nuts.

I know right, I do as well. it’s just something about this one. Maybe it’s because we sat still for so long with nothing really happening and now that things are moving again, it’s back to being funny and entertaining.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m no longer trying to understand or make sense of this drama. Or if the tone of the drama shifted, but this drama is suddenly hilarious. It’s so ridiculous but I can’t stop.

I can’t stop laughing at this because I agree! I’d feel a little bad for Baek Ho cause that’s some psychological damage but Jang Mi has gotten on my last nerve with this whole marriage thing. Her and psycho Jun Ho deserve each other. Too bad it won’t happen though. I think Baek Ho is the heir to the other founding family of Dream.

Oh that date! For some reason my mind went to a date on a calendar. I was trying to think back like she was plotting something and circled a date, but I missed it. (My daily makjang drama mind took over for a second)

Is your drama count accurate at 69? Because honestly and I mean no disrespect, I felt the same way when I was in the lower numbers. So many amazing dramas to watch, how could someone possibly get in a slump? Now at over 500, its finally happening to me. The slump has started. The usual tropes are boring and predictable. Kdrama writers have stuck with the same formula (looking at you rom coms) and it’s repetitive and predictable. Some of your good 2026 dramas are arguably not great either. I agree with In Your Radiant Season and My Beloved Theif though. Perfect Crown has yet to finish so I won’t comment on that yet. But no, we don’t need to stop watching dramas. Seasoned watchers who can be objective and give constructive feedback isn’t a bad thing.

I’ve started watching Vertical dramas to help pull me out of it. They are hilarious, chaotic and perfect for treadmill watching. So for anyone else in a slump, vertical dramas are wild.

Exactly. It was such a weird direction to take. Like is this who’s she’s going to be now? Because I really hope not, entitled brat characters aren’t funny.

She’s on TV so it could be that’s why he’s already fond of her. He might watch her.

They changed the FLs whole character. Why argue with a farmer you don’t know, in a town where you’re supposed to meet an unknown farmer and get him to sign a contract. She doesn’t even consider that he may or may not be who she needs or that maybe he knows who she needs to meet? She was smarter than this. It makes no sense to suddenly make her some sort of disrespectful city girl just to create conflict between them.

I thought it was fine until the end of episode 1.

Apparently it’s based of real events and there’s another drama or movie that covered it as well. Except with the one previously, the killer wasn’t yet known in real life. So this one explores the whole story.

I can’t remember the names of the drama or movie previously done. But I don’t want to look into it either so I don’t get spoiled. I have my theories so I’ll stick to that for now.

They must not or the whole storyline with them would be different. Those items that his mom has could have been left with him at the orphanage though (or wherever he was left). Maybe before something went down, his parents knew he was in danger and wanted to make sure he survived so they left him with those items. Maybe that’s why the chairman doesn’t seem to care if the CEO wench is bad or not, he just cares if his company is doing well. He could have orchestrated the whole thing leaving Beck Ho parentless in the process.

Ugh I know. There’s no way their related and some sort of accidental kissing cousins scenario making it so they can’t be together. I think Baek Ho is the heir from whatever other family started Dream. That family died tragically and it was thought their baby died as well. But no, he was found and place up for adoption. Then he and Jang Mi will reign supreme over Dream as the heirs of the founding families.

I don’t want that though. Jang Mi dared Jun Ho to make her fall in love with him. He took it. They can be together now as Jun Ho and Seo Rin.

Facts. I don’t even think I could land a punch but he’s definitely making me want to try.

If you love mystery thrillers, then do it. Its well done.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. There could be something going on with when Dream was founded and maybe Baek Ho is the true heir from another family.

Hahahaha I cannot with this drama. Like what in the illogical world is going on? Does she really think her secrets are going to stay secrets? Like just tell Baek Ho what’s going on and who his brother really is. How is that so complicated? There’s zero reasons to not tell him, hes been on this journey since the beginning. Dude doesn’t have a weak heart like grandpa there, he’s knows martial arts. Just tell him.

Tomorrows episode actually looks pretty good. Lawyer mom might find out about her cheating husband?! It’s about damn time. Jun Ho punches Baek Ho? Well alright then. Jang Mi says she’ll live as the real Seo Rin? Not Jang Mi pretending to be Seo Rin? I don’t really understand how that’ll work but bring it. Bring the chaos cause that’s what this is. I just hope Jang Mi and Baek Ho are no longer end game. He needs to move on and she needs to do whatever it is she trying to accomplish.
