You said he wasn’t doing anything wrong, but clearly he has. That’s my point.
Never watched start up, nevertheless was intentionally about a toxic relationship so that doesn’t count. You might have Cinderella and Four Knights, I can’t fully remember that one I just know I wasn’t a fan.
No way, the friend gave the absolute worst possible advice you could give someone. To continue seeing someone…
In this episode the FL told her bestie that Sunbae made her feel uncomfortable, that she owed him something. The bestie was like yeah when you love someone that’s not how you should feel. Then proceeds to tell the FL to go on the third date to see it through and see how she really feels. Quoting the ML from their interview earlier. That’s terrible advice.
So basically FL's bestie has to spell everything out for her before she can make a decision. hahahahahhaa
No way, the friend gave the absolute worst possible advice you could give someone. To continue seeing someone that makes you uncomfortable. That’s a hard no. Bestie and the FL are both idiots.
No way. SML did shady shit behind the FL back. Telling the ML to stay away from the FL, wrong. Not telling the FL the ML went to the kids recital, wrong. Showing up at her home without permission, wrong. He sucks.
Ok her friend officially sucks too. Never and I repeat NEVER advise someone to continue seeing a person they said makes them feel uncomfortable. WTF was that??? There’s no seeing it through to see how you really feel. They already know. Nothing left to decide. Done. End of discussion.
It’s really not fair to say that. I’m a feminist and became a full time single mom when my kid was only 2.…
The link is only taking me to the top of the comment page and doesn’t take me to the actual comment in question. But even then, optics matter. This drama became a love triangle when that’s not what was being sold. So when she’s out working late because of the SML or on actual dates with the SML it doesn’t help the audience root for her. Not because she’s not allowed to work or even date but because all their interactions feel romantic because that’s how it’s been set up. Date or not the scenes are set in such a way to make the audience question who she’ll end up with. Even if it’s work and nothing romantic is going on we haven’t been given platonic vibes from them. So it’s not hard to understand why people think she’s busy dating when that’s always the vibe between them. I mean, the man fed her candy while driving with other employees in the car. That’s such romantic vibes that even the employees notice. Dating him or not, her character sucks for not setting boundaries. Unless she into him then in that case she needed to tell the ML she doesn’t see him as a man like that. The audience needs to know what she’s thinking/ feeling so we can root for her. With only 3 episodes left (2 after today) the writers did this whole drama dirty.
It’s really not fair to say that. I’m a feminist and became a full time single mom when my kid was only 2. This FL isn’t getting hate because she’s working hard to provide for her nephew. Had she been working, setting boundaries and growing as a person and new mom we’d all understand. I can appreciate and applaud her for the hard work she’s putting in. I know for a fact that raising a child isn’t easy. But you also can’t ignore the fact that she’s lost and growth isn’t what’s being focused on here. The writers decided to take this drama down the love triangle path and turned the FL into someone who’s bland and doesn’t set boundaries. If this was a drama that cared about growth and the hardships that come with raising a child especially one that’s been taken in under such tragic circumstances, we could stand behind that. To reduce it to a love triangle is cheap. Had the character been written as a man with 2 FLs, I’d feel the exact same way. Don’t reduce what should have been a journey of growth to stupid love triangle. Misogyny has nothing to do with it.
The premise reminds me of a hollywood movie- Life As We Know It
Unfortunately a lot of us thought that’s what we’d get, the kdrama version of Life Life As We Know It. Could’ve been great, should’ve been great. However, it seems the writer(s) decided a love triangle with a bland no boundaries FL was the best direction.
I’m glad people are pointing out the screenwriter because I never thought to look at their past works. I had dropped Last Summer because it was a mess. I liked Kiss Sixth Sense except the ending was terrible and Radio Romance was bad too.
Now I know, this writer isn’t hit or miss, they’re always a miss.
Not only SML troop but I find the brother arc weak too I understand why the brother left him when they were young…
Definitely not alone with thinking the brother could have reached out. They were both adults, clearly the brother knew of the ML whereabouts and what’s he’s been up to. Not reaching out makes no sense. It only adds to the ML pain about never having anyone and now the FL is doing it too. It’s depressing.
So are the writers going with the “don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”? The ML has exited her life and now she’ll start realizing how much of an impact he had on her, that maybe she did actually like him? It’s ridiculous. If this were a 16 episode drama this wouldn’t be so bad but we’ve only got 3 episodes left. Their relationship will be forced.
Yep he’s being shitty in how he’s getting revenge but it’s also somewhat understandable. He’s a bad guy…
I can’t call him grey yet either. He’s just going about this in such a hurtful way and creating more victims. But I agree, I need to see what we’ll find out with the last two episodes because right now, I don’t know what to think or feel about him.
Guyss I told you'll that IT guy is the one who created the app and look he is the one 😭 I feel so genius for…
I think everyone was saying it as it was pretty obvious. What we didn’t know was his motivation. The assumption was he was just as evil as the users of the app, but we now know it’s not as simple as that.
WAHH H BAEK TAE JU I KHAEJA SHIKAso we were all right in guessing the developer of the app but the motive is completely…
Yep he’s being shitty in how he’s getting revenge but it’s also somewhat understandable. He’s a bad guy and not all at the same time. Not sure what to think about him now.
Never watched start up, nevertheless was intentionally about a toxic relationship so that doesn’t count. You might have Cinderella and Four Knights, I can’t fully remember that one I just know I wasn’t a fan.
Now I know, this writer isn’t hit or miss, they’re always a miss.
ETA the episode is good for more of the MLs story though. He’s actually in this episode more than any other.
What a drama this has been!
The stress this drama gives me!!!
