Come on, he just had to tell him and prove him by using his enigma strength. Sheng isn't dumb. Let's not excuse…
But no one is justifying Hua Yong's actions though. We're saying that Shaoyou wouldn't believe him even if he tells him the truth because that is what he believes, Shaoyou doesn't believe that enigma exists. Hua Yong never got a real chance of having a civil conversation with Shaoyou because Shaoyou is giving him a cold shoulder. Even if he were to talk to him and make him understand, he wouldn't believe him.
This is the same as someone coming up to you that werewolves or vampires exist. They're a myth, you'd call them bluff.
Ikr! And also, why the username? Did you read the novel before the drama premiered?
It's been a little while since I've read it but from what I remember...Gao Tu resigns and walk away after Wenlang says he'd make the omega get rid of the pregnancy if he ever get one pregnant. (But they changed that since it was in Wenlang's father's presence in the novel) Wenlang realizes during that period that he has feelings for Gao Tu and he obviously goes crazy looking for him. Years later when they accidentally meet at the amusement park, Wenlang goes after him and apologize but Gao Tu is not having it, then after that he will grovel so bad that he gets out of control to the point where Hua Yong has to intervene.
Come on, he just had to tell him and prove him by using his enigma strength. Sheng isn't dumb. Let's not excuse…
He found out a lot of things that could make him rule out that Hua Yong is not an Alpha. Now that he marked him, Shaoyou is going to share some of Hua Yong's abilities like healing faster and hearing a little better than before yet he still won't believe that he was marked.
Let's be honest, Shaoyou would never believe that Hua Yong is an enigma even if Hua Yong were to tell the truth. So rather he finds out from being pregnant.
How many times did Hua Yong tell him he marked him? But boy is not having it.
And this is my favorite episode of ShenGao. Wenlang is slowly starting to use that little brain of his for the first time in forever.
I also liked how he was sulking and angry that Gao Tu already has an Omega. On the other hand, he doesn't want Gao Tu to leave him. HIM, not the company. Like, he should open his eyes already and realize his feelings.
Gao Tu as well, I'm so glad he's standing his ground and prioritizing himself over someone undeserving like Wenlang. Even though I admit that both of them are not entirely wrong.
Wenlang is not obligated to love Gao Tu just because Gao Tu likes him. But I still NEED him to grovel so hard.
I'm the happiest today. This is my favorite episode (I have a lot of favorite episodes already) BUT we got Shaoyou getting marked, and he's cute being so clueless about the mark without knowing Hua Yong can and did mark him. I love how he was sulking throughout this whole episode, like a dominant sassy princess who can only be tamed by his man (his man is also a simp so I don't know who's taming who at this point)Hua Yong being himself is everything (He's so shameless and doesn't hide it.) And not him planning a wedding already.ππ
I saw many people complaining about this show and I actually expected the worst when I started it that I dropped it three times before continuing with episode 1 and surprisingly, I started episode 1 and I was actually hooked. I liked it, Song Yi was not as bad as some people claimed her to be. And obviously Cheng Lei was perfect for this role (he's literally good at anything he's on). Their chemistry was not that awe but enough to keep you invested to the story.
The only part I hated is the cliche little childhood stories they always make about the second male leads and the female leads. Is that part necessary for every Chinese drama? I rolled my eyes with βhere we go again.β and it's literally something I wouldn't want to see in a cdrama.
It will never be the same unless they make another bl
The actors gained a lot of popularity and have probably earned a lot from their solo work especially in the mainland. But the series itself probably didn't earn what a mainstream drama would make (but more than Desire).
I also hope they'll become successful (but not like RL actors, my boys do not need more toxicity in their lives.) And I hope we'll get that high school bl of XingQiu we're all manifesting for.π

It's not the timing. I'm sure RL didn't make much as well considering the series are broadcasted on intentional apps and not in the mainland. Desire has done good so far with only from streaming, hopefully there'll be some improvement once they release the merchandise and they start holding fan meetings.
(me busting the bubble cause I don't want to feel depressed alone.π₯Ή)
