Episode 5 was a bit less interesting but not boring at all. It was actually a break from what has been happening from episode 1 and mind you, so much has happened already. In episode 5, we can see the the development of Peem and Khem relationship and that is just what we needed cause it shows that our stoic master is slowly starting to melt.This is about Khemjira and his generational curse and since the novel itself says Khemjira will survive (?) I'm sure it's all about Khemjira breaking the generational curse that has befallen his family. No one said you're going to see some strong kungfu from him. As someone who grew up seeing ghosts, he must have been fragile yet emotionally strong after all that. I know I'd be in a mental hospital at that age lmao.Y'all are used to overreacting MC's who talk too much and are sometimes if not most of the time cringe (I know Thai BLs never fail to give us that) But so far, Khem's personality is good. Kind, quiet, calm and sweet. He's more introverted, and seeing ghosts your whole would probably make you like that.

They're not a fixed pair per se, they've signed 3 years contracts with their company. They're welcomed to go their own ways but Xingqiu said they're open for another series together. Nongjian sister's said it would depend of the success of this one but by far, they didn't make even 5% of what they had invested in the show (but hopefully we'll see a difference once official merch is released and they hold fan meetings). So we cannot be sure if another series will be made.😖
