THANK YOU! I totally missed that the blind date was requested supposedly by the FL. I thought the cousin orchestrated and was going to set them
up himself. So I figured that his colder treatment of her was because he thought she knew about their date and never reached out to check on him after the accident. That, and because he just associated her with the accident. I was a little confused but now it makes sooooooo much more sense 🙇🏼‍♀️

You all weren’t lying when you said it gets better and better after the first handful of episodes. This is great 😍I love the leads so, so much. I think this is my first show with Weilong and I’m impressed. I’m only halfway through 10 now 🥹

I’m waaaayyy behind the rest of you, but I am INTO him feeling hurt by what he thought happened in the past, desperate for her to remember something that unbeknownst to him she wasn’t involved in, while also being obviously attracted to her. Weilong is doing that dance beautifully and his actiiiiiing 😍 Also a small note - it was also really nice to see a REALISTIC catch when she fell.

This person’s profile is a hater profile- where they just post hate and downrate shows that they’ve never watched. This show is phenomenal and I highly recommend it if you like romance and psychological thrillers. It’s one of my faves of all time.

Many of us are wanting a season 2 that takes place in the modern world 😍But yes, we all wish we had some more time in the end.

Huh. I didn’t have that perspective at all. She wasn’t plotting against his rule, but brilliantly walking the tightrope of winning him over and being albeit underhanded to protect her people from his revenge. Her grandfather, who was ultimately the one that betrayed the Wei clan, wanted Manman to end the feud between the clans and make amends to the Weis for his betrayal, while also protecting her clan from annihilation. Manman was not gullible in the slightest. She was smart, cunning, very bright, and ultimately succeeds in her goals while finding legitimate affection and love along the way. And most of the time she finds solutions that not only protect her people, but benefit Wei Shao as well. Idk, just my take. TPoB is my #1 favorite show of all time.

Interesting that it only took 3 episodes to really loving something to dropping it because it’s boring. Maybe this show wasn’t your cup of tea in the first place 🤷🏼‍♀️

Really? Huh. I wonder where I heard that, then. Maybe that was for Kdramas or in another country I’ve watched shows from. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Or maybe it’s up to the parents’ discretion to release the names and photos of their kid.

I don’t think they release the names of child actors in order to protect them.

I’m thinking of Legend of Shen Li (xianxia), Journey to Love, Coroner’s Diary, Moonlight Mystique (xianxia), Alchemy of Souls (Korean), The Double, and I second Blossom. But I agree with another viewer, the FL in Legend of the Female General is more of the cute and playful type.

I personally watch shows for the romance 99% of the time. The plot of this one looked interesting enough, but I wasn’t sure how much romance was gonna be at the forefront. I’m glad that there will be some in this one and I am hopeful for a lot of it (I’m only 45min into the first episode; gonna finish my current show first).

Oh great!! I was hoping, but it was too early for me to tell with where I am in the show. I don’t follow interviews and such, so it’s good to know that they’re gonna pair up the leads. That makes me happy 😃 Thanks!

Idk guys, but if you look at the list of genres with this show three other genres are listed before romance. That kind of tells me that the romance is veeerrryyy much not a theme of the show, and that there might be some, but not much. They might not even be setting up the FL and the ML, which is why people may be thinking the romance could be with the prosecutor. Granted I am not caught up yet (finishing Vincenzo). I’m not shipping anybody because I’m still pretty behind, but if there are a lot of people shipping the FL with the SML then maybe that’s where the writers are intending to go and they’re doing a good job putting in the subtle clues. 🤷🏼‍♀️And who knows, with the SML and SFL being listed as “main roles” on the cast list, maybe they’re planning to reunite the ML with his ex. Again, take all this with a grain of salt because I haven’t caught up. I’m just trying to be open-minded about where things could go. I don’t think I have the info on the bullying incident that people are referring to, but perhaps there will be redemption and reconciliation. Or maybe there is more context to it that we don’t know yet. Don’t we all ship couples in other shows that are imperfect? 🤷🏼‍♀️ To everyone who is throwing shade at those shipping her with the prosecutor- I bet I could look through your watchlist and pick out couples from your favorite shows where at least one of them hurt the other at some point.
