The way the ML is fending off all of the FL’s perceived suitors 🤣 Also the leads were adorable in the latest episode. Poor Wei Yun can’t hardly keep it together 😂 🤭
FR, I have so many drama on my plates rn but even so I look forward to watch this one the most (I had to watch…
Yeah and it doesn’t help that I’m in a bit of a slump outside of waiting for this ine. I have been trying to get into a kdrama show, but I’m struggling several episodes in and am contemplating dropping it. I’ve been browsing shows for the past 30min trying to get inspired to watch something else 😂 🤦🏼♀️
Exactly. Honestly she couldn't reason herself properly. She threatened to leave Wei household. And when ML apologized…
I wasn’t a fan of the whole fake fainting either 🙄 That rubbed me the wrong way 💯. I get that she panicked, but come on. 😂 In a lot of ways the FL acted more like a child this episode than Yun did LOL
Yeah I’ve been thinking about it, too. I get why she would be angry - she’s been trying to prove herself to…
Yeah I get it. I guess I see that she does have her own agenda, but I think there is also genuine care for his family. I don’t think it was pure selfishness that she almost froze to get him out of jail, or to help get people to come to his banquet. But yeah, I get other people’s frustrations with her 🤷🏼♀️
in episode 11 makes me struggle even more to understand the FL’s logic.Okay, i get that she’s angry because…
Yeah I’ve been thinking about it, too. I get why she would be angry - she’s been trying to prove herself to Wei Yun and his family since the beginning, risking freezing to death to get him out of jail, getting hit by the whip, having her connections attend his banquet, taking the dart in the leg for Yun, etc. She’s done a LOT for this family, so I understand why she’d be frustrated.
But I think it would help a lot if she at least took responsibility for her deception and validated and acknowledged Yun’s point of view, because his perspective also made a lot of sense. Her not at last taking accountability and expressing understanding of his perspective is hurting her character. Maybe they won’t drag it out too long.
The chemistrying chemistry!!! 😍 DYX is GREAT!! He emotes SO WELL! I am loving watching him catch the feels for Yu 😍 I am also really enjoying the role reversal? With him being the one who is more emotional, young and inexperienced - while she’s obviously a bit more mature than he is. It’s super cute 🤭😍🥰 I’m into it 💯
AND almost everything is out in the open between the leads regarding the case, which is wonderful. After 10, I was starting to get worried that they were gonna drag out the secret-keeping and the lying. I’m glad they didn’t, thanks to our amazingly intelligent ML who has that youthful openness and transparency 😍 I am loving seeing DYX play just a dynamic character, who is childish in some ways, but is also observant and cunning.
I will say, though, that I am starting to struggle a little bit with Chu Yu. I apppreciate that they are trying to give us insight into where she is coming from, but it’s a little hard to understand her. I get that Yun has openly suspected her since the beginning, and I get that she’s upset / hurt because she risked her life and got injured for his family many times since she joined it. I get that she’s upset that Yun didn’t trust her. But… he apologized? He acknowledged that he did use her (she used him too), and offered to help her investigate? And it’s clear now that they are on the same side with common goals?
She has also told her maid that she doesn’t trust that Yun won’t discard her in the future, so I do wonder if that mindset is related to her shitty mom and also being ditched by Chusheng. Regardless, she has literally known Yun a lot longer than his brother, so it doesn’t make total sense to me why she would trust his brother so quickly, but not our guy. I don’t dislike the FL, but there are some holes in my understanding of her that I am trying to fill.
Anywho, this show is really good! And the second couple!!! 😍
