It is! I don’t do sad endings. If you liked the enemies to lovers trop with TPoB, then you can also check out Fated Hearts. It’s more of an enemies to lovers than TPoB, and the first three episodes are brutal with them being enemies before the respect and love for each other grows. They’re also a powerhouse couple and one of my faves.

How bad is the love triangle and miscommunications / secrets for people who hate those tropes? For reference, I dropped Love in the Clouds for those reasons, but mainly for the not communicating

He’s the youngest of seven (?) brothers and was forced to take charge of his family due to unexpected tragedy, so if you’re looking for a ML who starts off the show as totally mature and jaded by the world then this one is not for you. You can check out Fated Hearts and The Prisoner of Beauty if you’re looking for a different flavor of ML.

It’s possible, because there is sort of a ML / FL role reversal in other aspects- like with the ML being the more emotional naive one and the FL being more hardened.
