that's bare minimum though. and given the lack of runtime dedicated to daughter, it feels like drama treats her more like a prop that glorifies ML rather than a proper character. you can write good lead characters with some very human flaws. this kind warm thing is overdone. like nobody is driving around town at midnight in the middle of weekday so their boss can get more sleep as their own family is being put to sleep by a neighbor. if you're going to have a single parent character, at least commit to showing their grind throughout the day.
making this production fail is difficult even for him. especially commercially coz the young FL actress is a kpop musician. and if the drama ensures a good bit of runtime on middle age pairing then even his meh acting can/will be ignored.
actor playing young ML is a bottom ten leading actor in kdramaland but even he can't possibly tank a drama with such exceptional supporting and director

that's just run-of-the-mill writing even in romcom kdramas. that's hardly good let alone exceptional. and no, the complaint isn't about ML being 'green flag'. it's more so about writing a perfect character that can do no wrong even if they tried. that makes production boring and flat. it leaves little to no room for growth and journey of the lead.
this drama is a testament that we don't need popular actors and big budget to make an exceptional series. just…

saw 4 and it's a bit disappointing that single father part is just a mere character trait in this drama. he's working a lot of overtimes that he clearly doesn't needs to. I get it he's caring but go home and be a good father instead of letting SFL put your daughter to sleep.
not sure how they'll milk 10+ hrs out of this plot coz the movie itself got boring in second half. plus this director's resume isn't very convincing either
