That's not my point. I'm saying why didn't adoptive dad didn't look out for him. He kept everything of his and his room same as before. He clearly missed his son.

He wouldn't come this realisation about father and be appreciative of the bonds with those around him without going on that journey. That's kind of the premise.

this obsession with flags (in romances) among drama audience is one of the worst I've seen in some time. how about simply suspending your disbelief and watching a story for what it is instead of grumbling over perfection in everything a character does.

there're many other issues with writing to point out. like how it falls flat after island eps, main premise being lost from there, no proper explanation for ML's adoptive dad not looking for him despite having more than enough runtime. same with FL's mom....

adoptive pops wasn't his biological pops. writer just wanted to show that they were a real family all along despite not being blood related. you don't need to be bound by blood to be a family. they can be anyone you have a strong emotional connection and time spent together is.

But there will always be folks who care about their craft and time will tell the truth on them. Shawshank redemption tanked on box office but is now appreciated as one of the greatest movies ever made. Some marvel movies hit billions but they won't even be remembered 5 yrs later let alone 20-30 yrs.

actual best dramas don't get high ratings when they're airing. My mister got like 6-7%, Life 2018 got 5% and Be melodramatic barely hit 2% ratings when they aired.
