lol Anna sawai bagged an emmy but isn't even top 100 on this list. that alone makes this list a sham. all the actors/actresses voting lists on here have 2-3 specific people that top no matter what.

pasta is meh but JI is nice watch imo. both dramas had good chemistry between cast so I expect same here at the very least.

Villains and thier schemes were also mediocre and got tedious to watch in the second half

It started off great but around the marriage arc, plot lost its steam and couldn't get it back till the end. Writer wanted a happy ending for all but I was expecting a more hard hitting plot where a lot of supporting characters still meet thier demise (like original timeline) but FL manages to change destiny of ML somehow. He also has white hair and some organ damage at the end due to poison.

looked through his resume and surprisingly he hasn't won a baeksang for tv drama yet

i'm fine with such scenes as long as production tones down the overtness of it. like a dialogue or two in the passing is good enough. there's no need for multiple different scenes of supporting casts eulogizing how handsome/beautiful leads are.

that trope is ruining kdrama romcoms. it was meant to be cute at first but now its nothing more than a lazy copout for why leads should be together. its like they can't build a proper dynamic onscreen without employing that trope.

nothing more cringey than supporting characters in dramas overtly fawning over the looks of ML/FL

comments that can't handle leads vibing with each other while being in relationships need to look at past works of writer and adjust their expectations if they wanna continue. its going to be mess of a situation and there're plenty of kdramas with leads being 'one and only lovers for each other' out there.

we don't gotta wait long since drama comes out this week. hoping it quells all my skepticism.

cover isn't an issue. I find this lead pair casting a bit off.
