Great job! I can only imagine how much hard work went into making this article. It was very enlightening.
Thank you for reading! Glad you enjoyed it! Part 2 and Part 3 will show some interesting data as well ;).

Title Big Issue
its probably just me, but i feel like i can watch multiple seasons of this drama
Agreed, the pacing of the drama was such that it never bored me or dragged. I wouldn't mind a second season at all!

This is so complex and impressive! Definitely some interesting food for thought. *side note* but I think the age…
Thank you for reading! 6 years for the characters of Romance is a Bonus Book seems about right! Bummer I can't update the article with the info (I keep getting an error when I try). Thank for chiming in, nonetheless :)!

That would be great! MDL is pretty much a community effort when it comes to content, so it'll be helpful to get tags on dramas --especially on those who don't have any. That way, rather than ask in the forums, the user can simply explore shows and filter by tags to find what they are looking for!

Soon as I saw @3GGG I knew it was gonna be a good article @lua seems to be on the same pageI'll be looking for…
Aww, thank you very much, @ItsZen! Glad you've enjoyed my articles! This one was certainly much easier to put together thanks to @Lua's help in gathering the data. Needless to say, we are quite surprised by some of the numbers!

Dearest @3GGG, I really love how your articles always make me see things in dramaland under a new perspective!Dear…
Thank you very much, @Penel! Glad you enjoyed this one as well!

My priorities when writing an article are usually: 1) Choose an interesting topic 2) Simplify it and make my points clear 3) Beautify it lol. So the fact that many have commented on all three points means we've succeeded!

Still need to finish part 2, but it more than halfway done ;).

Title Haechi
This show proves that 20 episodes is simply too much. It started great but it got drawn out with conflict after conflict. The last four episodes were so boring, I had to muscle through them. I even skipped some of the longer scene where nothing happened or things happened at a painfully slow paced with a lot of unnecessary shots to add to the dragginess.

First half was an 8.5, but I'm giving it a 7 for the slow second half. I definitely wouldn't have been able to binge-watch this show, so I'm glad I watched it while it aired.

Very interesting and informative! One thing to note is that some dramas tagged with romance and age gap may not…
A great observation, @GigiRedBird! Thank you for sharing it! I dont know why I didn't even consider that as one of the reasons for the discrepancy in the tag numbers!

Thank you for reading and commenting! Well there are two more parts for this one still to come! Hopefully we will get some time to finish them soon!

Thank you for reading! Indeed, tags are very subjective but that actually ended up making the data quite interesting. Don't forget that you can always delete a tag that you feel doesn't apply to a show. And you can also vote for the tags you find most relevant to the shows. Those will then be the first to appear in the list and, therefore, on the show's page.

fantasy level age gap shouldnt be counted as age gap unless a significant amount of story take place when both…
It's certainly a good rule of thumb, though that would contradict the current tag and how it has been defined and used. Personally, I would rather have those fantasy age gaps tagged. However, a different tag focusing more on how important the gap is to the plot might not be a bad idea. It would just have to be properly defined so people only use it when it applies. It could be called "Key Age Gap" of something along those lines, specifying that information is key to the plot.

Thank you very much for reading! I am glad you enjoyed it! I was honestly worried that despite breaking it in three parts, it would be too long for many. Glad it was at least enjoyable :).

OMG this is a major work! I love the article. It made me think about all this cliché about woman, man and romance.Where…
Thank you very much for reading! Indeed, the tag system gave us a lot of food for thought as well. I think it's almost a worldwide idea/belief that a woman is valued for her beauty while a man is valued for his wallet! The tags actually seem to follow this belief. It will be even more apparent on part 2 and even more so on Part 3 (which will focus on how we, as viewers, tag women vs how we tag men). But the simple fact that there's so many "rich male lead" tags within the romance genre says a lot. And, to that point, there's just as many "poor female lead" tags, which is quite sad.

But we will broach this subject on Part 2 and 3!

the graphics, visual, and the explanations ~I loved the article, Nice work ~ waiting for part.2
Thank you for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we'll finish part two soon (we have one section to finish for that one). We've yet to start building the third part, but that's probably going to be the most insightful ;).

Interesting information, thanks for your hard work! I honestly don’t look for tags and don’t tag anything,…
Thank you for reading! Indeed, you can check, add and even correct/take off tags from shows by:
1. Go to a show's page.
2. On the upper right corner, click on "Edit this Page"
3. Choose Tags.
4. You'll see a list of tags were you can: add tags, define tags, subtract tags and vote for the tags you find the most relevant to the show. If you add tags which can include key points, be sure to check the "spoiler" box ;).
