Take my thoughts as however you may deem but from what I've read so far, both parties are suffering now due to blatant negligence.

Girl didn't think of the consequences she probably might have to face if she were to believe mere words of a man who has apparently wanted her to abort their child to save his career under the promise of marriage. Obviously when you trust and love your partner there is no occasion to doubt their words. But given the industry he was in she sort of could've prepared for any kind of backfire. Which eventually happened. He left her. Her first red flag would've been him asking to abort a baby in promise of marriage. If you're a decent person take responsibility and face the trials. But both weren't prepared for a baby. And he was at a peak of his career. This is the Korean entertainment industry we're talking about, there is no separation between public and private lives. Fans pretty much control everything.

He could've handled this way better. If he was a caring boyfriend he literally could've ended things more peacefully saving all of this mess. As I said this is Korea so not anyone's first rodeo when it comes to deadly scandals and speculations! He should've known the repercussions if he did what he did. It's a common thing in this industry that your past coming to bite you in the back. And It Did. This wasn't even that long ago. If you wanted to put your career over everything could've just broken up and made it an amicable parting. He neglected the fact that she had the capability to literally destroy his career.
Given he's guilty according to his apology, he could've been decent enough to have done it before to her privately and save all of this emotional and physical distress he's putting everyone through.

In her POV she chose to out him at his peak, honestly if you're a beat up ex and did not get the outcome you expected from that relationship i.e. broken promises, emotional and physical distress,,obviously there's a lot of pent up anger and betrayal inside. So what's the best time to expose your celebrity boyfriend if not the time he's most famous. She prolly did it in a whim, maybe she's also regretting all the shit she's going through at the moment. It's not easy coming out with news like that especially about a famous person unless you're prepared for it. Imagine the amount of hate she's getting from his fans?! But given she's also from the same industry I dunno why she didn't think of handling this a tad bit better.

In his POV. He should've seen this coming. Gaslighting a girlfriend at your peak especially with that much of baggage left behind, he literally dug his own grave. If she's also from the same industry if she also knows her way inside, he must've been super confident about his decision. But still overestimating your image is what lead to this mess I guess. But he knows how this industry works I dunno why he thought he can have his way through.

One of the things I dislike the most of especially of the Asian entertainment industry is their private lives are never private. If someone marries, cheats, have a baby, date, come out, gains a bit of weight, be intimate, have sex, take drugs, swear, drop honorifics, mentions a brand name they aren't endorsing regardless the fact it's good or bad or have no meaning whatsoever it can go as far as to ruining careers, lives, leaving damages which become hard to recover from. This is why I only watch or listen to whatever their work is and never become a hardcore fan. I will admire the work, give praise where it's due and call it a day.

This is toxic and these fans and delulus scare me. We're human for a reason none of us are perfect. I badmouth about people from work too but that's just complaining to release stress, doesn't meant I hate them. But I know when you're famous your every move holds accountability and you come in to the industry knowing that, especially if you're in the Korean entertainment industry. Western ent. industry and their fans have accustomed to work around these matters and in a way though it might entirely not be correct at least the unnecessary speculations and drama are saved. People will only take note on the official work and let the celebs deal with their own lives. After all tho how famous they are they too are human just like us.

Hope both the actor and the girl take their time to heal and recover. Too bad he won't be able to make a comeback in the foreseeable future. At least hope he has learnt a lesson from this. And the girl should be more careful with relationships from now on, maybe think about herself and her wellbeing before putting her faith in to someone else. We should be prepared for any out come. Life is uncertain after all.

Also as the public we can't give judgements to anyone, let the people with authority do it. Yes we can voice our opinions but let's not be harsh or put hate on anyone. After all what is seen on public is not always the same as what's actually going on. We are seeing only what is made to be seen. It's carefully selected and filtered before coming before our eyes and ears. Best is to let them handle it and just hope that everyone get the Justice they deserve.

Cheers!

About episode 8. I really dunno what to tell. Well at least after 7 weeks of fast forwarding I could say I didn't skip for a straight couple of minutes during that one scene tonight where they had dinner. Leads have good chemistry. They can act. I feel bad that they're given a shallow script like this. The concept is good for a BL, it's refreshing and unique but I can't believe they've found every possible way to ruin this story. Characters are really poorly written and it's not the cast's fault. Story has reached a new level of slowness even fast forwarding is not enough. Hey don't get me wrong, I love a slow burn romance, but with a progression in the story. Here they're just using it as an aesthetic without any substance in the plot.
Aue & Aek both acted outta character tonight, Aue was crossing the line and Aek was being too rude. And after everything he goes with that new guy to HIS HOUSE?! really dude??? Not cool at all. Well I have a feeling that Aek is in denial about his sexuality, for a lot of reasons i.e. his mom, himself, society etc. But they could've given a better approach to these issues and made Aue's and Aek's characters a little more mature and sensible. I mean they haven't even started dating and they've already been in a fight.
It's high time they stop making BLs just cz it's trendy, when they've gotten all the good material they really should put more effort to execute a well rounded plot. 4 more weeks to go, I don't think it's beyond redemption but hope it at least pick up the pace and give some development in the plot and the characters. I love Zung the guy who plays Aue, he has such expressive eyes. Like a puppy's. Both him and Mark are good actors. I hope they'll get casted again for another BL with a better plot to showcase their talent. They really do have chemistry.

Ok this should go down as one of the best BL productions of this year. The story is refreshing, the setting is refreshing, the actors are refreshing! Everything is nicely done. I love the actor who plays Eun Gyu. His drunk scene in the 5th episode was just finely acted. It suits the personality of his character very well. I like how subtly he shows the pain & the longing. His face is full of emotion, the eyes, the gazes are so intense, I was really impressed. Seriously, I dunno if he's a newbie or not, the boy got some talent! He's got a bright future!
This show deserves a full length series. Honestly they're good! I can't believe next week is the finale. Maybe they should consider a S2 with more plot. I even don't mind this ending with a cliffhanger between their relationship so we have a chance for maybe longer episodes with more depth into their relationship next season. Eun Gyu/Hae Won chemistry is too good.
Love the cast they're doing a great job. For newbies their acting is natural, nothing is cringy or over the top. Looking forward to the finale. I'll surely miss this show on Fridays!

Their chemistry is evident. Good portion of the issue of this drama lies with the directing. Aesthetically pleasing but plot wise it's quite undeniable at this point how painstakingly slow the pace is. We're half way through the show and there is no progress at all. This could've easily been a game changer for BLs this year yet they've bombed their chance. I seriously don't understand how none of the production members felt how slow this story is. At least when they were editing. I know we tend to complain sometimes how dramas are moving so fast unnecessarily. But this one's slowness really has no meaning. They barely exchange full sentences between them. They try to show this deep connection or depth in their staring and long pauses in their dialogues but seriously it's no use cz what they say or do doesn't have any substance.
I still love the OST and the food and the cinematography is beautiful. But those decoratives don't have any impact if the main item of the production is missing it's purpose. I think it's unfair to blame the cast. Especially the leads. I like their acting. Wished the director reflected more on his approach to this story before he actually executed it. Hoping for some progress. Please!!!

On Hospital Playlist Season 2 Sep 20, 2021
Just finished watching S2 & my heart is heavy. I'm gonna miss this drama so so much. It was the perfect blend of everything. Normally when a drama has another season it struggles to live up to the previous season's standard but this literally went past all of my expectations.
The best slice of life/medical drama I've ever watched. The most admirable part is that it doesn't have a major plot, but tells you these different stories of different people in the most emotional way. I love how humane and mundane they made it feel throughout the show. It gives you a sense of reality. Like, 'oh, this could happen to me too. Yes, I can relate to this' kinda feeling.
You can relate with every character, not only the leads but even the side characters like the nurses, the interns, the patients, the elderly folks (parents of the doctors)...basically everyone was someone you'll meet everyday. That's why every story in the drama could touch our hearts and we laughed and cried with them.
I don't think we'll need another season tbh, they took their sweet time and wrapped up everything nicely. I like how nothing is rushed and no cliffhangers were left. They basically gave a satisfying ending for everyone. I'm so glad how not only the leads but also the side characters were given the equal amount of importance and it's not something you see everyday in a drama.
It was the best finale for this precious show and kudos to the whole cast, the director and the whole production team for bringing this gem to life and doing a tremendous job. I don't mind even if we do get another season but at the same time they are good to leave it as it is.
This is how a medical drama should be done. I'm impressed how seriously they took everything in the drama and you can see they've educated themselves and did thorough research to execute this projet.
So, thank you for always leaving with great life lessons and teaching how precious our lives are and how we should take care of one another. I shall miss the music, the food and the hospital. But these two years with Hospital Playlist will stay a happy and healthy memory :) <3

This was better than last ep, but it's still too slow. When a scene is slowly paced and given time to build, that's…
I do agree with the last scene. It really made no sense. Only they were in tux and since Aue said it was his mom's gallery opening I thought at least Aek will be introduced to her. But she was no where there to be seen. There was little to no progress in the story at all. The only new thing we learned was in the last scene of the episode which was already sort of shown in last week's preview bit. They have a beautiful setting for a refreshing BL but the execution is very lacking. The cinematography is nice but the substance to the plot is very shallow. They could've done so much more. Leads definitely have chemistry, and they seem like decent actors too. But the meaningless staring and slow conversations just dumbs down their chemistry. At least give them better dialogues. Hoping for some development as this series which could easily become one of the best BLs of this year would turn out to be otherwise which is in vain.

We're in episode 4, I finished the 47min episode in less than 30mins. There was a lot of filler scenes today, nothing happened to develop the plot, the only new thing added to the plot was the last scene of the episode which was pretty much the preview from last week. I still refuse to drop this series cz I like the chemistry of the leads. They seem like pretty decent actors but this production is totally undermining their talent. The directing evidently lacks substance. I like their approch to this genre, normally Thai BLs always have stereotypical plot devices but somehow this story is derived from it and showing us something different. It's sad it's falling short in the most important aspects. This has great potential, but the slow paced aesthetic they're trying to add to the Story is clearly isn't working. I don't know why they've made the dialogues between the lead actors awfully slow. Especially Aek's. This could've received higher ratings if they've planned this correctly. I need a little depth to their bond. Right now I feel no emotional connection in the long staring and the long pauses in their conversations. They should've given a little more time for them to develop into something. Whatever the director's trying to show us between the leads doesn't feel real to me yet. Second leads were bit more lively than last week, but still their interactions feel a little robotic to me. I'm gonna keep on watching this even if I may skip, cz I like the story and of course the food. For a production with a high value like this they really should've planned it better tho.

Do agree that the pacing is really slow, but so far it's tolerable. Maybe they could've cut down unnecessary scenes like parking vehicles, walking up the stairs, just literally walking itself or those long shots on inanimate objects (they even took time to show Aek removing his shoes, I mean really?!) I know they're trying out an aesthetic but it's kinda overdone atm. And also I do see the chemistry between the leads but assuming the timeframe of their meet up to the present I think Aue's relying a little too much and little too soon on Aek. I mean you just met the kid and by the next episode you even want him to compete on a national championship! Chemistry is undeniable, but when I sort of think about it, it sorta lacks depth to it. They just met but Aue already seems like he's in love and Aek seems to be following up. I'm all for love at first sight, but maybe give us some conversation, apart from food or work, cz if we're to justify the long stares, the eye contacts, the awkwardness I think we should need a little more to their bond. The blooming 2nd couple is sweet, but they need to be more natural, it's hard to connect with their characters. Maybe need a bit more flair and less stiffness.
Anyways since it's still the 3rd episode, I'm hoping for more growth and development. I like the calmness of the story. They're comfort characters and I love seeing the food too,,,lol. I love the OST. Hope they'll release the song they played when Aek cooked for Aue after his emotional outbreak.

Very slow paced story. I like the premise. Seems like a comfort series. Food and a slow burn romance for the weekend. Something different from the usual Thai BL trope we see. I like the cinematography. They've beautifully shot the food too. Looking forward to see how the story develops. Aue has a very humble face. He reminds me of a puppy. Aek is cute too. Chemistry is visible. I hope to see a consistent, and an interesting plot.

Finally finished it. Well it wasn't bad, I liked it. I see most comparing it to the anime, tbh I see no point in doing so. They clearly did their own thing. Also they literally wrapped up everything in like 6 eps where as the anime had 11 episodes and a movie. They had ample space to dive in to the story and depict the emotions of each character. Live action didn't have that. Maybe why we think it's a little distant is cz here Mafuyu and Ue's relationship didn't have time to grow, they ended the show just when it started. And Mafuyu clearly hasn't let go of Yuki yet. I mean obviously the memory is quite fresh cz it hasn't been that long since it happened. I'm hoping for another season. I'd like them to explore Akihiko's and Haruki's relationship too. We didn't get anything specifically of them in the live action except for one scene. They really should make another season. Tie all the loose ends and give it more depth. Anime was quite emotional and I'd like to see that in the live action too. I love both versions so I hope we'll see them again!

End of a great decade with Rurouni Kenshin. I don't have much to say! Since this is the last, I made up my mind even before watching that I'm going to like it! And I honestly did! It's sad the franchise is over but I guess this whole production did justice to the original source! Normally when they make movies out of mangas it can only go two ways, either it's a hit or a miss! This one actually did a home run without doubt! So thank you for bringing the manga alive and giving it more meaning and color! No one would do Himura like Sato did! He truly is a hardworking, inspirational actor! I've seen the BTS videos and it's amazing to see how much they've put in to keeping things authentic! No body doubles and suppose almost everyone did their own fight scenes. This deserves all the respect and admiration of all!
The other best thing was discovering OOR thru RK! The first time I heard Taka's voice, I'll never forget it! RK literally introduced me to one of the phenomenal rock bands in my generation! One Ok Rock made masterpieces for RK and each one of them is a forever hit!
I shall miss this franchise a lot! Kudos to the whole production team for bringing us a true cinematic marvel and giving us a decade long memory! The cast really outdid themselves and I can't imagine anyone else doing each of their respective characters. Sato really brought Himura to life and made it irreplaceable!
May the wandering samurai continue his journey wielding his sakabato, defending the defenceless!

For the 1st season I waited till the end to binge the show and it was instant love the moment I started watching it. Even this season I waited a couple of weeks before I started it cz I knew waiting for it every week is gonna be hard. Just finished episode 7 and it made me tear up several times. The show doesn't have a major plot just everyday life of the doctors and the patients and somehow it's so wholesome and healing. There's no complications, nothing toxic, no unnecessary drama just relatable events of an average person's life. It makes you laugh, cry and smile along with each character. Everytime I finish watching an episode it always leaves me with this pleasant feeling inside. Makes me appreciate the work of medical staff more. The humaneness in every story is what makes this show very special! I also love how they've included music sessions at the end, it truly brings more color to the show. I loved their last compilation of the band sessions, suppose we'll get one this time too! Hoping we'll at least get one last season after this!

On Be Loved in House: I Do Aug 10, 2021
Finally found time to finish the special episode. Okay let's see...I love the whole drama. It was slow paced, cute and not dramatic. The storyline was quite simple I'm grateful that they didn't bring any antagonist plot in to the story. I'm honestly tired of the usual toxic exes and evil female characters they have in BLs.
I do understand the development between the male leads were eternally slow tbh I did like it at first but I wished they didn't drag it till the last episode. They could've maybe made them reconcile at least by episode 10 and given us some more fluff for the rest. I love Aaron, he's a brilliant actor. Hank is not bad for a newbie.
This could be an extremely unpopular opinion but I really fell in love with Zi Tong aka E-Stone and I think his story with Real would've been much more interesting than the main one. As much as I love Shi Lei and his cuteness I sorta did feel his and Yu Zhen's chemistry was overpowered by Yu Zhen and Zi Tong's chemistry. And the special flashback episode really didn't help the present story but give more attention to the past relationship, which made me more interested in the past story. I feel Aaron blends well with Deyn. Real being cute and needy with Stone is something I never thought I'd need in my life. I'd like it if we can get a prequel but then again since I ship them I don't want it cz you know they won't be the endgame. But maybe another new story with Aaron and Deyn as leads would certainly make an impact. No offense to shi lei, yu zhen ship I mean they were definitely adorable together without doubt, they made me smile like an idiot but my heart goes for Stone/Real too.
Anyways, I really enjoyed this drama. It had it's flaws, but it certainly made me smile and look forward for it during the week. I hope I'd get to see Aaron again, that man deserves the recognition. Wouldn't mind if we get a S2 even, with a much stronger plot and better interactions between the leads.

On Be Loved in House: I Do Jul 3, 2021
I love this drama. It's sweet and beautiful! I like the pacing of the story too. I don't know WHY some people find it slow and boring. I mean this is definitely a slow-burn romance. I'm glad they are taking time to develop the main couple's story. Maybe people are so used to fast paced romances. But this drama keeps my anticipations high and always gives a dumb smile on my face. I like the build up between LeiZhen, because it seems natural. Both of their personalities are very contrast, they have different histories, so it's logical to take time to get to know each other. I think ratings deserve better. Honestly it's been some time since I came across a cliche yet a story executed better against the obviousness of the plot. Tho it's predictable the actors are doing a great job keeping the story afloat. It's not a complicated drama, it's simple and easy. If anyone's looking for something dramatic and for an adrenaline rush this ain't it. But if you want an instant Serotonin boost, this IS IT.

the Kaoru death part was when Enishi brought a kind of a doll resembling Kaoru (I really don't know what it is)…
Oooo that actually makes more sense. In the movie there's no time gap,,, from Kaoru's abduction to Himura and Enishi's fight they have it in one go. So in the canon story Kenshin sort of goes in to isolation. Tbh I thought they'll show a bit of a development of their story but they never did. Since it was the final movie I wished they did it . Oh well at least we'll know about Himura's past life in the next movie.

I know everyone has mixed feelings about the ending, but I loved it. To me it showed how much they love each and their willingness to overcome each other's faults and give themselves a chance. IPYTM was almost as good as ITSAY but I think I'm still a bit more bias towards the latter cz it was a masterpiece. Rather than being miserable apart I'm glad they took a chance and decided to walk through the obstacles. For me it was more real. I think this might be it for our TehOh journey but I'd like to see the actors together again. They have such natural and beautiful chemistry. Kudos to the whole production team, they didn't disappoint with the second season. As always their music score is brilliant. The OST is remarkable! The first season was much more emotional than this season, but still they showed a more mature approach on an adult who's just finished their school phase and stepping in to the real world.
Audiences would get to see great content as this when the production houses decide to choose quality over quantity. Hope we'll get to see more as such in the future too!

Loved it! Absolutely brilliant! I'm gonna miss this franchise a Lot!!! There was never a dull moment.
But I do have some lingering questions and yeah I do agree the plot could've been filled up more!
I wasn't a manga reader nor watched the RK anime. So I only know the story through the movies.
1. What's the missing part about Kaoru? Did she "die"? How did it impact Himura? And I kinda thought it was a bit lacking when they made her always get kidnapped in the movies. For a person who teaches swording, they made the character look so vulnerable. In that case Misao was awesome! That girl can fight!
2. How the heck did Hajime, Aoshi and Sato survive after getting fatally attacked like that?! They must be fukn immortal!
3. Was the corpse Enishi brought Cho? They didn't show us the outcome of the fight between them. So suppose he died? I couldn't recognize the corpse properly.
4. I wished they could've shown some development between Himura and Kaoru. They were barely together in the movie. Hope they have a happier ending in the OG story, and I don't mind getting a bit spoiled about it!

Anyways, from the movie's stand point I liked it! And it was a great ending for a decade of excitement! And one of the BEST things about RK is discovering OOK! I fell for Taka's voice the first time I heard him! I can't imagine anyone else doing Himura other than Sato! He nailed the role! Overall I consider this a cinematic masterpiece and the whole production was amazing! Guess it's the end of another era!
