Title Bad Buddy
I dunno how far they thought through of Bad Buddy when they finished filming but I don't think they necessarily made any plans for a S2. So if anyone is afraid of next week fear not it'll be a very happy ending. The novel is an adorable ending anyways so I won't expect anything less from the series too. If this ends openly I'd be more glad cz then we'll have very much certainty for a S2. But I don't think it'll be that way. We'll surely get the ending we need.

While we wait and if anyone's interested & cz I'm bored, let me put down a few scenes from the novel below, feel free to read at your own risk if you are ok with spoilers:

1. They don't run away. Pran convinces Pat to think about the consequences if they leave everything behind. Pat still goes away from his house and crashes at Korn's. Korn being the best buddy convinces Pat to go back home. He was so heartbroken that Pran gave up on them so quickly. But it was the only choice they had at that time.

2. The separation was super painful in the novel than the series. When Pat comes back home from Korn's place, he gets to know it took a toll on his mom. Even though he was only gone overnight, his mom was miserable. When he was back, he gets on his knees and surrenders completely. He agrees to give up on everything, and apologizes. He was broken after Pran refused to run away, but he knew that his mom will always be there and cherish him. Since the pain was still fresh in his mind, he accepts his dreaded fate.

3. It was Pran's dad who slaps him. That whole scene was so painful to read. Pran knows that their parents wouldn't accept Pat. Especially the dad. His dad tells him even if he get on his knees and beg he wouldn't let them be together. He makes the decision then and there to send Pran to England to live with his cousin. He even says that Pran doesn't have to finish his degree he was doing. It was a whole new level and extent of imprisoning your own child when it came to PatPran's fathers. Pat's dad made him engage to a girl. Pran's dad sent him abroad. He literally booked the tickets for him to fly in 2 weeks after they got caught. What's worst was Pat got engaged on the day Pran boarded the flight. He sees Pat in a suit and a fresh hair cut when he left the house. In the airport he sees the engagement post on Facebook and taps on like before switching off the phone. Trust me the pain in the book hit very different from the series.

4. In Pran's POV he thought what he did was for the best of Pat's future. He knows how hot headed and short thinking Pat is. Even if Pat didn't care about the parents perceptions Pran at least wanted him to think of Pa before making any quick decisions.

5. Pat's mom was one of the first adults to give in to their relationship. Both sides parents refused to let them be together. Pat's dad didn't want to accept him as gay. Neither did Pran's dad. But above everything they didn't want them to be together cz of the enmity between the families. The whole grudge was because of a business situation. Pat was super miserable he overworked himself so much, one night his mom came to his room and saw Pat drinking and working. She was so sad. Pat tells her no matter how hard he tries to be a good person to the girl he's engaged to he knows that he was still being unfair to her. He tells his mom that he doesn't have feelings for Punch (the girl's name), that the torture wasn't trying to love her but trying to forget that he was still in love with someone else. He tells her how good Pran is even if they fail to believe him.

6. Pran takes Nong Hom (Nong Nao in the series) with him to England. Pat didn't get a chance to retrieve it from Pran's room before they parted. Pat then sees it on a post of P'Pong (cousin) one time and realizes Pran still keeps it with him (he still thinks about him)

7. Eventually it's Pran's dad that gives in first from both fathers. He realizes that he only has one son and if he's miserable because of his decision he's not a good father at all. He himself asks Pat to go to England to reconcile with Pran.

8. It's a damn good ending. Pat's father was the last to come around, he realizes he can't do anything about Pat being gay nor him liking the neighbor's son. Pat's mom helps a lot to make the dad realize his dumb behavior. Bahaha their reunion is super adorable. The bickering never stops. Pran is the stubborn, shy & logical lover where as Pat is a the high spirited, silly & stupid lover.
If they are to swim in high waters Pran is the kind who'd think before he jumps and plan on how to survive, whereas Pat prolly try to figure out how to survive after jumping. But Pat works hard to get on the good side of Pran's dad. He earns his place in his heart basically. He manages to bridge the two families and bring their businesses together.

9. Last 2 special chapters are Pat trying to take care of a sick Pran and eventually catches Pran's sickness himself. LOL! It's super cute and funny.

10. The book and the series are equally good. Tho the series didn't follow the novel per se they actually interpreted it very well. The scenes added or changed were done quite well and even better than the book at times. I'm super glad the series gave PatPran alone time after the family drama cz it was painful in the novel as they parted without even a proper goodbye. Kudos to the production team for a job well done.

Hoping to see Bad Buddy ending with a bang and Trending worldwide next week. These guys deserve the recognition for their hard work. Hoping to see their hands full at award shows this year too. OhmNan literally shined throughout. They raised the bar so damn high and P'Aof marked a new era for future BLs.

Okay I'm back, and I see a lot of you are fearing the 12th episode preview. I dunno if what I'm about to put would make it better. But I don't think it'll be that bad as we're assuming it'll be.
1. P'Aof has already told it's a happy ending. Or even if it's otherwise I'm sure that we will get a logical explanation and it'll definitely make room for S2.
2. Their separation in the novel is actually not that long. It takes them only a couple of months for their first reunion. And afterwards they start a LDR & reunite properly after an year or so.
3. In the novel Pat works hard to win Pran's dad's favor. He doesn't have high expectations of Pran's dad giving him approval but he just tries his best to erase the bad blood between the two families. Since the series is not directly interpreting the novel per se. He might try to work his magic with Pran's mom. This is just a theory btw.
4. Technically they don't have the text book break up. Nobody says it out loud tbh. Their circumstances just pulled them apart. I think the series portrayal of it is much better than the book. In the novel they just do it over a call.
5. Pat should be one of the greatest BL characters ever written. His determination never fails. His love is solid and he never gives up. He stands up to what he believes is right.
6. Both PatPran are relationship goals. I know people don't approve them sacrificing their relationship for the sake of their families, but they literally show how patience and will can overcome anything.
7. They don't run away in the novel. But even tho they run away in the series they come back, and it was a good decision. I know in their hearts they never separate but they patiently wait for their families to accept them. Decades long grudges cannot be solved overnight. Their parents are also human. They'll eventually come to a slow realization and will give in for their children's happiness. It.just.takes.a.bit.of.time!
8. One of the healthiest relationships you'll come across in a BL. PatPran are the epitome of unconditional love. Pat will get engaged to a girl but he always made sure that he never lead her on in anyway. He gave her the chance to choose. He made sure everyone still knows that he was in love with Pran. Pran only had Pat in his heart. If they never ended up together I think Pran would've died single and lonely one-day.

This series is literally the best that has ever been made by GMMTV yet. Credit goes to the author too for giving us these beautiful characters.
OhmNan have literally made history with Bad Buddy. They embodied PatPran perfectly.

As I'm watching the series after reading the novel, today's episode just hit me like a truck. Every emotion PatPran went through shattered my heart. I knew the break up was coming one way or the other. It's episode 11 after all. The curse of BLs.
For me Pat shined so much today. He showed his vulnerability throughout. I think today was the most I've seen him crying. Usually it's Pran who breaks the most, but Pat's silent crying was so fukn painful to watch. He is my favorite character. I love how he's written to just challenge all the stereotypes. People would've thought he was straight or someone in denial but Pat was the first to admit his love for Pran. From then on there was no turning back for him. I just love how PatPran give courage to anyone to stand up to what they believe in, to take that leap of faith.
Pat is so fukn selfless when it comes to love, he'd lose anything to let his lover have the best. Pran trusts Pat so much he'd go to the ends of the earth with him. Their love is pure and raw. I was a crying mess today. Every soft moment between them was so bittersweet. Pat crying at the end of "Our Song" and again when they were Infront of their houses just pained me to watch.
They're so understanding of each other, they decide to part ways to give their families a chance. I know it's painful, but their love is one of a kind cz they never broke up in their hearts. They never give up on each other. It is portrayed so beautifully in the novel too, I even cried while reading.
OhmNan literally defied the BL stereotypes through Bad Buddy. Dunno if we'd get a S2 or if we'd even see them as a pairing again, but they're definitely leaving their mark with this series. The plot is maybe predictable, but the cliches are done right, the simplicity of everything is what makes it extraordinary. Acting is phenomenal, and the masterful storytelling is the game changer. Even the most predictable plot could surprise us with the correct execution. Sometimes we don't need complexity to show the depth of a plot, it all depends on the talent of the cast and the cinematography. Bad Buddy has gotten all of those just in the right amount.
OhmNan made a new standard for future BL couples. P'Aof made a new standard for the stereotypical storytelling in BLs. If any producer takes this as their bar to top in the BL game, I'm sure we can expect more quality BLs in the future.
Can't believe we'll be parting next week. But these 12 weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions with Bad Buddy, from the casting to the plot to the damn OST, everything is blatant perfection. I can foreshadow the amount of awards they'll be getting this year.

I think this should be the first time in a very very long time we're coming across a BL that literally has conflicts that are realistic as any other drama. Usually, most BLs revolve around a toxic lover, parent's denying sexuality, themselves denying sexuality, girlfriends, and all other cliche tropes out there! Here the parents aren't focused on their children's sexuality they have genuine angst between them which doesn't involve their children but themselves but somehow ends up hurting their children's relationship. It's like a world where any relationship could be normal and there are actual problems that can affect them rather than their sexuality! I'm so happy the problems are depicted in a realistic way. It's believable that this could happen.
Also, nothing beats PatPan relationship. They are the healthiest couple I've come across so far in a Thai BL. They communicate they take care of each other, they DON'T BREAK UP even after shit goes down! They're the epitome of showing how a relationship could work! When Pat suggested running away, I frekkn' rejoiced, like the moment he got to know they're in this mess cz their parent's mistakes the boi knew there's no valid reason against their relationship and no one could say otherwise!
I love they took matters into their own hands and just became an example to the adults. Not just as a couple but PatPran is showing everyone how to do things logically. They don't leave problems behind!
I can't thank enough from P'Aof to the whole crew to the Brilliant cast for bringing this masterpiece to a reality! PatPran is the new BL standard for a couple. This plot should be the new BL standard for smart writing. The author of the novel also should receive credit for creating these beautiful characters. Thank you for depicting their relationship in a normal environment. 2 more weeks and we're gonna miss them pretty badly. I really do hope they'll bag some great awards this year cz this genuinely deserves all the praise and recognition for the hard work and dedication! OhmNan literally outdid themselves!
A beautiful narration of two beautiful boys!
p.s. How can I not talk about InkPa, the last video's emotions almost made me forget that my InkPa heart is fulfilled! Finally, our ship sailed. Sorry, Wai you can have Korn if you want.

I'm sorry I came here to rant cz I'm angry!
Urgh here we go again. This is NOT the first time. It's like deja vu with a BL actor's private life every time his onscreen couple becomes popular! Aren't the fans learning from past incidents AT ALL??!! Can't they seriously separate FACTS from FICTION. We've seen beautiful friendships fall apart off screen, actors suffering mentally, careers getting ruined, all of that and FANS STILL DON'T KNOW WHEN TO RESPECT BOUNDARIES!
This is why I admire western entertainment culture regardless of their craziness than the Asian culture cz those guys literally don't give 2 fuks abt who they date publicly or what their sexuality is. Fans support them and cheer them and when someone breaks up it's still no big deal. They thrive in their careers and still get to have a real love life! I really feel bad for most of these idols and celebs in most of these asian countries like even if they happen to breathe the same air with a girl/boy it becomes a controversy! No wonder most of them suffer mentally! Even how much these fans adore them, they literally turn evil the moment someone starts dating. Toxic shipping culture at its best! And no one ever really stops to think why every time a BL fictional on screen couple becomes popular every fan automatically asssume they are the same in reality too. Like it doesn't happen with hetero drama couples like it does with BL! Why so fixated with these fantasies in reality too?! They're selling their CHARACTERS not THEMSELVES! pls pls, I just hope fans understand these situations more and just leave these actors be. They're young, talented and have a long way to go. Let's not ruin their journey.
I just want Bad Buddy to finish without any trouble. This whole off screen drama is just.so.dumb! I was so angry reading all of these stupid fan posts assuming as if they know everything about the actor's life! He's imploded for lying and using the costar for clout??!!! WTF. They don't owe us any explanation! It's their PRIVATE life!!! They ain't entitled for shit! The so called fans should know they're only SELLING a fantasy!
I just hope none of these bullshit would jeopardize his relationship with friends and family!
I'm only sad cz a several months worth of hard work is getting wasted over some irrelevant news!
GMMTV literally gave us what could be the bestest BL series they've made yet. Bad Buddy's run was pretty smooth and there's only a few more episodes till it's over. Let's just cheer these hardworking young talent and not let this go to waste at the last moment over some none-of-our-business-it's-their-life-we-can't-control-them-just-cz-we're-fans crap!

p.s. two more days until we get the dreaded episode! Let's give these boys a good cheer and make it trending as usual! They deserve every bit of it for their hard work ❤️

I just love how PatPran keeps defying the stereotypes in BLs. Pat liking all genders and not minding being gay, Pran being open and gay from the get-go, shutting the whole "liking only one guy & not being attracted to other guys" trope, all of these are literally giving me life! And one of the other best things I like about them is the fact that they aren't defining any gender roles in their relationships. No offense but I always cringed at the whole Hubby/Wifey dynamic we get to see in BLs oftentimes. I dunno, why it should be as one dude who's like an Alpha/more masculine, will often have to save the other guy who's vulnerable/less masculine. They always need to clarify who's top/bottom. I feel like every time they show such relationships in BLs that they make it the main trope in that particular couple. So PatPran is seriously a breath of fresh air. They are quite equal & versatile & they complement each other so well. Even in the novel, it was the same. One of the healthiest couples I've come across in a Thai BL so far, they communicate well, mature understanding & keep their shit together. Supportive and Patient! Seriously these guys are literally showing everyone how it's done.
I'm also glad the friends reconciled quickly. I understand why they made Wai a little douchy, it's a drama after all and we gotta tweak certain characters & scenes for dramatic purposes. Glad it wasn't dragged for long. He was such a good boi in the novel.
P'Aof made all the right decisions with this series, from the casting to the story! The musical score is also perfect. OhmNan has started a new era in BLs with Bad Buddy, from breaking stereotypes to showcasing fiery chemistry they just invented the new standard for any future BL couple. Like I know I will be looking for natural, non-cringy chemistry in BLs like OhmNan have from now on. They're gonna be my breakeven lol...Their moments are cute & silly but I don't feel any awkwardness nor cringe. It's honestly cute and natural. And that's where their acting becomes different from others.
Also love that they've given InkPa some development and the real MVP of Episode 9 was Korn. The best Boi!

p.s. this episode really felt like a Christmas Present, it was giving me diabetes!
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year Y'all! See you guys Next Year!

They really aren't following the novel per se. Wai was a good boi in the novel. And I suppose P'Aof has taken creative liberty with Wai's character in the series for dramatic purposes. I mean obviously cz we need that hurt and angst piled up for the latter episodes. If you're disappointed as a Wai Stan you can go read the novel for solace. He really is a good friend. I mean both friend groups turns out to be super supportive of PatPran, so fear not cz the real enemies will be their parents. Just prepare yourselves once they're exposed to them. I might be wrong too as P'Aof might have done more changes and made the friends also douchebags, cz atm Wai really seems like an asshole, but hopefully they turn things around and make it right soon.
Bad Buddy keeps getting better and better. OhmNan's chemistry is going to be the new standard for future BL couples if they want to make an impact on the audience. Cz these boys just raised the frekkn bar to a whole new level.

For those who read the novel, do they switch or is it a bottom/top relationship and if it is who is the bottom…
They never defined their roles in their relationship. It was something very refreshing for me. Their dynamic was very versatile and you couldn't really lable them as who is who. Both of them are daring and hotheaded, and they continue to compete in their silly games. One of the healthiest relationships I've come across so far in a BL. There wasn't anyone who was more masculine nor too vulnerable. The typical trope of one guy coming to the rescue as if the other is a damsel in distress was not there between PatPran. They equally tried to keep their shit together. In general I really admired the maturity and the understanding this couple had and the communication between them. If can I do encourage you to read the novel. It's a good read ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

Bad Buddy Excelled in many aspects. I think this should be P'Aof best work yet. I'm glad that OhmNan literally didn't wait to see if this blows up or not and chose their projects in their own pace. Next year we will be seeing them together and even separately in what seems to be very promising projects. I'm personally excited. They are such versatile and veteran artists for such a young age and they work really hard. All the recognition and popularity is well deserved.
We may or may not see them in a sequel of Bad Buddy or even a new series as a couple, but it's great that they are personally open to the idea of pairing up again for another project. I think the new generation's power couple is officially OhmNan and they shall continue the legacy of their peers! No offense but I haven't felt such strong, natural chemistry between a BL couple from GMMTV in a long time. I think EarthMix comes close but their vibe is different. BrightWin felt as bros/friends for the longest time during the run of their series but at least they tried to redeem themselves from those 5 special eps. Then again who'll ever forget the iconic hi5?! Lol, still so vivid in my mind. Still I do appreciate all of these BLs, they kept us thoroughly entertained during the pandemic, even tho we complained, we still loved 'em.
GMMTV has chosen quality over quantity in the last quarter of this year, and that's really great. Bad Buddy and Not Me are killing it. I'm super excited to see more BLs are being made with much more serious substances than the usual dramatic tropes. Future seems promising, and we'll be waiting (◍•ᴗ•◍)

One of the great things about PatPran relationship is that it is the kinda rare ones you'll come across in the usual BL trope where there's always drama with a girl or some toxic ex lover etc. For a mainstream series by GMMTV, they're serving really well this time. I like the the approach they've taken on this predictable, cliche plot where we all sort of have a hint on what's gonna happen next. Even the most cliche story can ignite excitement in the audience when done through masterful storytelling and Bad Buddy is clearly winning at that!
Also in the novel the author made their characters pretty solid. Like Pat and Pran never questioned their sexuality nor doubted their feelings for each other. They knew what it was from the get go. Especially Pat. He was open and confident, once he realized his feelings he never shyed away. He was steadfast. He does sleep with a girl, but it was not because of him doubting himself. He even tells her he's gay and she's only a friend. Pran was forever in love with Pat so there was literally nothing to question there. I like that they've adapted all these great traits to the series too.
One of the other things I like in both the series and novel is that they're never fixed to a certain role in their relationship. That dynamic has never been there. Who's husband/wife, or top/bottom, more masculine/vulnerable etc. Both PatPran was equally hotheaded and silly in their own way. One person doesn't have to rescue the other like he's a damsel in distress. Both of them handled their own shit. They were quite mature and reasonable too.
I like the direction the series is going even though it's not following the novel exactly. P'Aof has adapted the book really well in to the series. Both PatPran characters are embodied by OhmNan. I clearly see no difference. This couple is refreshing and a breath of fresh air.
Even if we don't get another season of Bad Buddy or we may not see OhmNan as a couple again, these boys are anyways leaving their mark behind with this series. It's a memorable one. I know we will be talking about this the longest time!

1. Their first kiss in the book is when pat force kiss pran when he jealous because of wai. That is what I read…
Well, apart from the fights between their friends, the story doesn't have any brutality. Once Pat and Pran starts dating their friends eventually accept their relationship and support them. This couple doesn't have the typical ex lovers or any other people disturbing their relationship. Even Nat's encounter was so brief in the story. There are no secondary couples either. The whole story is written in Pat's view and Pran's view. Wai remains being a supportive friend. He only cared for him as a friend.
Pat and Pran actually had a healthy relationship. Their only obstacle was the rivalry between their families. Pat's character was also very admirable. He was so open about his love towards Pran once he realized his feelings and wasn't afraid to admit he's gay. He always remained very straightforward. Also this couple sort of broke the BL couple stereotypes as well. Their roles in the relationship wasn't clearly defined. Like who's bottom/top. Or like who's more masculine and who's feminine etc. It wasn't important nor needed. Both of them were hotheaded and their bickering and fighting never stopped. I found it really cute. Both Pat and Pran mature as individuals later on but still keeping their silliness.

Title Bad Buddy Spoiler
1. Their first kiss in the book is when pat force kiss pran when he jealous because of wai. That is what I read…
1. This is how it goes down in the novel, it might be long but feel free to read till the end if you wanna. So yes, their first kiss happen under very tensed and angsty circumstances. During a fight Pat punches Wai & he also punches Pran in a spur of the moment. Usually Pran is used to fighting like this, but here he gets pissed off of Pat's recklessness and takes Wai away and tends to his wounds. Later Pat comes to Pran's room to apologize but they end up in a verbal fight again which leads Pran to kick out Pat from his room. Somehow one thing leads to another Pat ends up sleeping with a girl called Nat. It happened cz he was just angry at what had happened and wanted a distraction. He was drunk too. The fights between Pat and Pran are usual but they always end up talking again. This time it was different. Anyhow, Pran overhears Pat telling Paa about sleeping with Nat. Pran keeps ignoring Pat and also at college teachers get to know that Pat beat up Wai. Pat thinks Pran hates him now for hitting his best friend. After a couple of days Pat goes to Pran's room again. Pran thinks that Pat had come for his stuffed toy he has left earlier one time (Pat keeps a soft toy with him called Nong Hom when he sleeps, it's on the series too,,lol) They get in to a tense conversation here. Because of Paa's concerns about her brother sleeping with some woman he warns Pat to not be like that. Apparently Paa has come to him and cried about it. He says unless it's for Paa he wouldn't care what Pat does or don't. This angers Pat. So he brings up about Wai in to the convo and tries to compare his situation to Pran's. Pran says Wai is just his friend to which Pat says that Nat is also just a friend tho he slept with her. Somehow they end up snatching eachother from their collars cz both of them were angry at eachother for the most obvious reason: jealousy. Pat tells Pran repeatedly to punch him. But he doesn't. In the end Pat says he has a better way of punishing Pran than punching and angrily kisses him instead. He then tells Pran to see if it was truly because of Paa's concerns he told him to stay away from Nat or cz he was actually jealous. To which Pran ends up punching Pat and kicking him out of the room again.

And that's how the first kiss happened. The series didn't show us a forced kiss nor the whole drama with Nat. Infact Nat is replaced by Ink's character which is the total opposite of Nat's annoying ass. Ink is pretty much the comfort character for both Pat and Pran on the show. But the fight between Wai, Pran and Pat was similar to the novel in the series. They just linked the first kiss after that fight and made it a mutual kiss. In the novel after Pran asks Wai to leave he and Pat talk and reconcile. They become boyfriends after that scene, lol.

2. Yeah, pretty much. P'Aof isn't exactly following the order of the book. A lot of scenes are added to the series but it doesn't harm the story of the book either. You can say so far they've adapted the book to the show in their own unique, creative way. Which is quite fitting to the original material too.

3. Umm, actually I'm not sure, given we're now in EP 5 and there's still half way to go, from the way they're interpreting the novel in to the show, they might be able to cover the book. But the novel jumps awhile ahead and alot goes down in between. If they want to they can make another season too. But then again, they gotta end this season with a sad ending cz if they keep the latter part of the novel for S2 where they're outta college and working, then it should have more fillers and more plot to ultimately reach the happy ending of the novel.

I know peeps are still recovering from that one hell of an episode so in the meantime I am here to purely praise the boys and the production. They.frekn.nailed.it!!! If it's a BL it shouldn't be about bromance or being friends, we legit should feel the leads' chemistry as a couple and nothing else. These producers and actors just jump on the BL wagon just to make a name and profit outta it without actually thinking about the context. That's why I don't feel any emotion nor any connection between intimate scenes in BLs oftentimes. They are awkward, uneasy and robotic. Chemistry should come naturally and there should be a flow. OhmNan understood that assignment absolutely well!
From the fight scene to the rooftop scene their pent up emotions were built gradually and the final execution of that was a perfect delivery. That was fire.
My heart rate kept rising cz it was so intense. The rawness of those scenes were super realistic, I went through each emotion both Pat and Pran were going throughout. The pain, the longing, the relief, it was a rollercoaster ride.
Kudos to Ohm and Nanon for keeping it real. For not shying away. This plot is pretty cliche and predictable, but the production is done in a way that the audience is kept excited and asking for more. If P'Aof is adapting right from the novel I suggest we keep tissues ready cz the real pain & suffering is yet to come.
Not exactly a spoiler but PatPran relationship was one of the healthiest ones I've seen among the usual love-hate/forced BL story tropes. They don't give up on each other even how many obstacles they had to face. And that was admirable. Also Pat's character was quite open and exemplary in the novel. I had to stop reading at one point to go write in my journal cz I really felt the pain and suffering they were going through.
But I think we might get something different in the series, either way Bad Buddy is Winning this year!
Kudos to OhmNan for doing a marvelous job, they literally have a bright future in showbusiness. I can't wait to see them thrive more. Production is great, they made a cliche plot in to a masterpiece. Excited for the next episode (☆▽☆)

I'm here cz I can't for the life of me forget Nan's eyes today! His soul shattering eyes keep coming back to me. Such a phenomenal actor. For that young age he's a veteran already. The boy doesn't have to utter a single word and just act with his eyes alone. I know he's been in this industry for awhile and he already has a great record in his career but this series is the first time I'm witnessing his brilliance. And I'm awestruck. He's born to be an actor. The subtleness of his facial expressions and the feels it gives is just on point.
Ohm of course is one of my favs and the dude can flirt even with a tree and convince us their relationship without breaking a sweat. The flow of his actions are quite natural and smooth.
OhmNan must be the greatest pairing of BLs this year from GMMTV after EarthMix. Now I can't imagine them with anyone else if they are to ever act in a BL again.
Bad Buddy is winning my heart left and right and I am genuinely happy how this drama turned out to be. It's cute, funny, sad and everything in-between.
I don't think the girl drama will last long, cz unlike the usual toxic ex lover Ink seems to be a nice girl. And I have a feeling our home girl even help out Pat's dense ass to see what's right in front of him.
I mean Pran is a freaking preschool reading book, he's literally written in big letters with pictures to understand but sadly our home boi Pat is illiterate af atm!
It's getting intense now and I'm super excited to see how this story will unfold. Hope this series will bag some good awards next year. These boys deserve to be recognized for their raw talent.

My Fridays have never been better. This is how you do justice to a BL. OhmNan chemistry is FIRE! Their pairing is just Chef's kiss! The stares alone is a plot itself. Love the plot, it's cute and funny! P'Aof has done it again.
I was smiling like an idiot the whole time I was watching. Why do we need intimacy to sell BL when there are such great young actors who can literally speak a thousand words just with their facial expressions! Nan's talent is beyond me. He has a subtle way of showing emotions with his eyes and face that it's really convincing to the audience what his character is going through. Ohm is literally on par with Nan and handsomely compliments Nan's character. Plot is the typical story we all know but they've made it more exciting and interesting. Sometimes if it's done right even the most cliche story will surprise you. And Bad Buddy is literally doing that.
I see no flaws and I'm enjoying the show to the core. PranPat just topped as one of my favorites and I'm pretty sure they're here to stay forever. They're literally giving me butterflies and it's been a minute since I felt that feeling watching a BL

Binged the last episodes together. The leads definitely can act and they do have good chemistry. Just talent wasted over a crappy plot. Production value is high, they had that whole food aesthetic and the OSTs on point but literally failed at the most important compounds which were the story and the pacing. I really didn't understand what really was in the plot even. All that air time was wasted on little to nothing. Episode 10 Aek comes back as if nothing happened after having an emotional coming out to his mom. I didn't get any closure from Aek's & Aue's reunion. It was just shoved in our faces outta no where. No depth no substance in the story at all. This clearly could've been up to ITSAY's standard with all that material but they missed that chance big time. Sad. I mean a cooking BL with two leads with good chemistry easily could've topped the charts.
I don't understand how they messed up this great opportunity.
I'm all for slow burn romance. But Bite Me went to a whole new level of slowness. And even with that the romance wasn't as what I expected it to be. All that long stares and slow dialogues really didn't convey any meaning to me.
Oh well. I hope the leads would get another project together with an ACTUAL plot. People really should stop making BLs just for the popularity. It loses the meaning of that genre. In vain to waste time, money and talent.
Also actors should act in BLs only if they're comfortable in a homosexual role. I'm tired of the awkward, stiff acting. There's still a lot of stereotypes to be broken in this industry and they have a long way to go. Your sexuality shouldn't be a concern for your masculinity. They shouldn't act in BLs if they're going to shun that genre afterwards.
Anyways, I pulled through 11eps thinking this story will redeem itself at some point but sadly it didn't. Hope the producers and the writers think heavily if they're starting another project cz having only aesthetically pleasing cinema shots won't save the drama.

I'm loving the show. The biggest pro is the leads. OhmNan chemistry is just chefs kiss! I'm thoroughly enjoying Nan's character. That boy can express thousand emotions just with his eyes! His facial expressions are on point!
And I think Ohm doesn't have to act much differently from his actual self cz the chaotic energy just shows,,,lol! Comedic scenes are quite silly but I find myself smiling cz the sound effects just adds up to the humor. Not very impressed about the fight scenes and I still don't understand why the two friend groups keep fighting. Their reasons are not at all reasonable to start a fight.
Knowing the leads have been friends for so long in real life, it's hard to explain but the portrayal of their characters just seem so normal and casual. The connection flows. I know Pran is already in love with Pat. His stare is everything we need to know. I'm not sure about Pat maybe he's still bewildered. But I know he'll come around soon. Both their parents are the worst and I know they are and will be the biggest reason for any heartbreak! Their friends have a lot of growing up to do especially Pat's. They are straight up bullies.
One of the best things about this show is I know OhmNan doesn't have anything to prove. Both of them are established actors and already have been popular among the audience. They didn't have to take up a BL role to just elevate their careers, this just shows they can do anything. Especially Nan cz I think this is his first BL role. Shows how versatile they're and up for new challenges. I hate it when actors use BL as a stepping stone and straight up codemn it after their purpose is fulfilled. Hence the awkward acting and their constant validations of how straight they're. If you're uneasy, don't do it. It's a waste of time and money.
Doing BL doesn't hurt anyone's masculinity, it's a challenge and shows your scope as an actor. If someone wants to become great at their game, they should go all the way. These people should learn to be open minded and respect others choices. It's so hard to break some stereotypes in this industry, especially in Asia.
Anyways, hope the future will be much better and young actors like Ohm & Nan can break the stigma in this industry.
My Fridays are quite fun again, and P'Aof as usual did what he does best! Looking forward to the progression of the story.

Take it as either a pro or a con, I admire how the western celebs don't give a shit, and even the fans would mostly just stay unbothered! I mean it's their effin' private life, we have no right to control that! It's so sad that the Asian entertainment industry is still far behind this purview! SK has a long way to go in changing their opinions and criticism on handling their artists/idols/celebs lives! I do feel very disappointed everytime a so called scandal pops up about someone and it goes above and beyond in the most dramatic manner. Regardless of who the person is it's always about a trivial issue which shouldn't have been the public's interest or their right to have meddled with it in the first place!
It's like a prison sentence if someone starts dating, have a baby, swear, come out, gain weight, says a brand name they ain't endorsing, drop honorifics, get married, pushed someone when they were in kindergarten, miss a step in the choreography,,,,do I even need to go on!!! No wonder these celebs are mostly suffering from mental health issues!
Tho fans are their livelihood, these celebs are literally sacrificing themselves for their fans! No one can say that these fans are NOT toxic, it's a culture where you can be cancelled for wanting to wear a t-shirt without a bra! Gimme a break!
Even how much SK can take pride in their music, dramas or any other creation they definitely need to change their perceptions and so called entitlements they have over their celebrities!
These people are human, they ain't perfect. If someone has broken the law/ done something wrong, let people with authority handle it, yes we can always stand against injustice but make sure it's for the right reasons. This toxic culture should change big time. What's on media is not what's actually going on, it has been carefully selected and filtered when coming before us. We have no right to make judgements on another human regardless of their status in the society. We can give opinions but it should be done with caution. As they say words hurt.
As a bystander this just my opinion and of course not all will agree. I just voiced how I felt. But if I've learnt something that would be to just admire the artists for their work, give credit where it's due and just call it a day. Tbh I really don't have time to go digging around someone's household issues, I barely can manage my own shit,,,lol.
Karma is a bitch so what goes around comes around! Any human who has wronged will face it's consequences. You can be a billionaire or a scrap collector, it doesn't matter, nature will find it's way for you.

Take Care peeps! Cheers!
