I soo wanted to see Zisheng grovelling at Shao Shang's feet- that was one of the most intense scene in the book...As well as the scene where Zisheng nonchalantly tells Yuan Shenjian in front of SS and the fifth prince to break his bethrothal with SS, so that he can marry her... Hope they did shoot it.

Yep, I do think so. His ambition was too big...living out an idle family life with his wife and kid would never have been enough for him. Yan Zhong used to be his friend, and yet he had no qualms massacring his entire family. I just don't get what his motive was in leaving Cheng Shi alive though. In the novel, the second prince and his consort are also significant characters. He's the empress's second son. The fourth prince is a minor character. There's an eldest princess as well. Both the Empress and Yue Fei had 5 children each+ Fifth prince from Xue Meiren(a palace maidservant). But one of Yue Fei's kids died. I'm not sure who the parents of the Fourth prince and princess are. Either Yue Fei or Empress.

She's not half as intelligent as she thinks she is. In the novel, she's even more hateful and SS does not like her from the beginning. But seeing as they mentioned the Liang family, the drama will probably expose her as well.

After rewatching the episode, I think the most heartbreaking moment was when SS told her parents: "We are even". Gods... how devastated she must've felt to say those words. She's basically drawing a line between them.... and that just broke me. Can't wait for her to get away from them and live with the empress. I want the stupid mother to regret everything she ever did when she realizes how she's no longer the mother figure to SS. But honestly, her mother was never this bad in the novel. She tries to build a better relationship with SS after she returns from the trip with the third uncle, when she sees how close she was with the third aunt.
I have mixed feelings about this. LBY's confession was peak romance, and I loved it...but it wasn't the best time and place, and it doesn't take away the fact that he practically forced their marriage. If he weren't the handsome and daring male lead, what he did was basically a dick move. She had to be humiliated by her own parents in the royal court, and in front of all those who regularly harass her. She must've been devastated, and I feel so bad for her. But I suppose it just shows that LBY is a very flawed individual as well, and used to always getting what he wants. And ultimately SS did agree, although it was practically at gunpoint. He probably genuinely believes that he would be the person who treats her the best...but SS will soon put him in his place. And we know they eventually fall in love...so hopefully she gets an apology in the future.
Loved every single moment of this ADORABLE drama, right up to the finale, and I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot the entire time (the final two parts obviously). The cast was simply amazing. This has officially become my all time favourite Thai BL....
I really don't get Thai dramas with plotlines like this. Obviously she was the one cheated on, why can't she desire for revenge? She has to be the villain because her 'innocent sister' and the scum ML are the protagonists?
