I am mesmerized sometimes when he is in some scenes, like: when he first looks at Hira after not seeing him from their graduation day and when he is looking at Hira in the swing scene.
And you are right, i haven`t watched all jdramas and movies, but i do watched a lot over the years, and they aren`t a lot of japanese actors that can do this as well as he does.

But, i think there will always be people who didn`t liked this drama in the first place, and wouldn`t want to recognize that they were wrong on this, even when they realise their intepretation of the drama is not accurate. I`m saying this, because some people comments come across as, yes.......hard for me to take them seriously.

Yes. As someone who likes to watch jdramas and movies for many years, and has watched even more older ones, this is how many jdramas usually are. Jdramas aren`t made for people to feel comfortable when watching, but because they want to convey and express something, without consideration to how viewers might feel.
Even the most recent ones are like this, i actually think that as years pass, Japan only gets bolder on the themes showed and the deepness they choose to shown. A perfect exemple is Chugakusei Nikki, if it was made by another country they wouldn`t even address half of the grey morality issues and themes this drama has choose to touch.
Japanese dramas are really different from the dramas that other countries produce and release, their diversity on the dramas released are something else, and they aren`t afraid to write their characters as being morally grey, or hard to like, and they write them in such a complex way, that i can`t help myself but to like them anyway.
Well, i generalised a bit, of course they have less quality and bad dramas too, is just that the majority has this realistic touch most of the time, which is really important for me when i watch dramas and movies.

Yes. The reason i feel the need to visit this page is because i want people to really understand the story, even a little bit.
It may be that the fact the people are only criticising Kiyoi because of the way the drama is filmed, Hira POV can be misleading.
But is not like people have not watched dramas before imao, so people should still be able to notice that this is not the usual story that can be found on BL, and that the characters are not every bit similar to how other characters are and react in other BL dramas and movies.
Not matter in which angle you analyze the characters, both characters are at fault for what is happening. If people will pay attention, they should notice Hira is the one with the biggest issues (even through in the future he will get the biggest character development), and Kiyoi is the one that is more normal, at least his toughts and reasoning are more normal.

After listenIng to this audio drama too, i want to add that is most likely a censored version, and not the original one, because it don`t have any sex scenes added, which is very weird since the novels are all +18.
This also explain why it can be found in a chinese website, as China censors the content.
I also found the first audio drama in bilibili, and it was missing the parts that has explicit sex scenes. Just wanted to mention this.

No. Both the audio dramas from the first and second novel are in japanese.
The first audio drama, named UTSUKUSHII KARE too, has the advantage that was released a few years ago, and It has a translation transcript (translation of the content of the CD) in spanish. If you understand spanish or don`t mind retranslating it in english, it may help you understand more what it happens in the CD.

Hhhyaya was refering to Koyama, not Kiyoi.
Koyama will do something that is not quite right in the next ep or the beginning of ep 6, that will make Kiyoi angry and this will bring trouble in Kiyoi and Hira relationship. And it looks like Koyama has planned it to do that, he does it in purpose, i was so angry at him because of what he said, he had not right.
Hira and Kiyoi will have a conversation they aren't ready to have because of this.
Kiyoi will not do anything wrong from now on, according to novel and CD, don't worry. Kiyoi will really try seriously to make Hira his boyfriend from now on, so he will be even more careful to not do something wrong that will make Hira misunderstand his actions. He will compromise a lot for Hira.
