Yes. Is an audio drama. The BLCD is amazing, just amazing. I listened to it with my limited japanese but to also get a hang to the characters personality, and is just mindblowing. The voice actors are really good, the voices also resemble the voices of the actors who play Hira and KIYOI in the drama. I actually think the drama is a really faithful adaptation of the BLCD when it comes to the way the characters talk and behave. The BLCD was released first and i think it was used at an important reference for the drama.

From my knowledge and from what other people has said about this scene, the part of Kiyoi and that guy happens almost exactly in the audio drama (BLCD). In the audio drama, all that happens in this scene is part of Hira messed up imagination as a result of his low self-esteem combined with him thinking that of course Kiyoi would be with someone like that and is only normal to date someone,. You can imagine how low of a self- esteeem someone has to have to imagine a person you like being interested in someone else. But i encountered this situation in a lot of jdramas and mangas as well.

I can spoil you about what actually happens in the novel and BLCD if you want to know. It would most likely happen the same. But i think you know what happens in the novel from other comments that you made.
I want to analyze what that kiss (at the end of ep 3) meant to Kiyoi, but idk where to begin... What did it mean…
Yep, like Suckmytoes123 has said, i was also about tho write this. Is a confession kiss, but Hira misintepret the meaning of the kiss as a goodbye kiss. Hira is really dense and oblivious, lol, and he will be for some more time too.
Yes. Poor guy. But this is what is it. He was greedy actually. He knows from the beginning that Hira is not over Kiyoi, because Hira told him about his love for Kiyoi. Is because when he heard that Hira likes Kiyoi and tought he is gay, that he started to take a notice of Hira. And he has known from the start that Hira still likes Kiyoi a lot., but he still confessed.
Koyama and Hira start as friends. . But Koyama likes him and he will confess to Hira and ask him to consider being his boyfriend. They are still friends at the time Hira meets Kiyoi again, because Hira is still hesitating if he should accept being Hoyama boyfriend. But, yes after Kiyoi comes back to his life, Koyama chances on getting Hira were destroyed. Koyama is not really a love rival, he will no appear a lot.
Their relationship will get better but it will happen slowly. Based on the novel and audio drama, who i heard a lot from and listened to the audio drama, Kiyoi flirtling with another guy is part of Hira messed up imagination and low self-esteem combined with him never considering Kiyoi will ever come to like him. In the novel , this sounds very corny but Kiyoi is actually saving all his firsts for Hira. Kiyoi is as taken away by Hira as Hira is for him lol. Those dorks are something. And did you noticed how that scene was filmed, the light and the manners of the characters is like is someone perfect imagination. For people who watched a lot of jdramas is easy to figure it out. And japanese adaptatation movies and drama, being of a novel or a manga are very faithful of the source material, they wouldn't mess this up.
Your right, It may be because it was recently uploaded, but i have a hard time to access the ep. When i searched other kissasian websites, as they are many, they had the old ep we know, so this is why i was confused. Kissasian has a lot of adds, and sometimes even with a very good add-blocker, some dramas can be a pain to watch in kissasian. Is better when you have account on it, as you can download them. I have one, so i always try to download what i watch in kissasian. I was planned to check what version kissiasian has when it adds the ep, but thank you for being so fast.
Yes, is the same as the one in dailymotion. Honestly, i think at this point the only hope is for someone alse to translate the ep especially for us or just watch it even with those kind of subs. I do understand i bit of japanese, as i watched japanese dramas and movies for years, and for me those subs are enough, but for everyone sake hope someone else will sub this ep and maybe the next ones too if they can, as we have no way to know, maybe the next eps will be the same as this ep when they are released.
This series is just too depressing. I couldn’t stop watching because I thought Hira would gain some self-esteem…
I didn`t initially wanted to comment on this, but gogo Gogu is right. Actually this is also revealed after their reunion in the novel, and it will be revealed next ep too, but Kiyoi is gay. Kiyoi is aware that he is gay from the period of time he has meet Hira, and after they go their separate way (after graduation), he will be know in his circle of friends and to his close colleagues which he will work with in the future as a gay man, he is not hiding that he likes men. The biggest hint is in ep 3 when he asked Hira if he is gay, he wanted to know if Hira is gay too. This is why he was disappointed by Hira answer. He tought Hira is the same as him, that Hira has figure it out that he is gay too, being that he has said he likes him. But Hira being Hira didn`t even give that much tought and importance to the question, and he has made Kiyoi even more confused. Hira very low self-esteem and also his extreme worship and admiration for Kiyoi prevents him to ever consider that Kiyoi might even be interested in him or that Kiyoi would want to be his boyfriend. Hira has a very wrong perception of his relationship with Kiyoi, he is content to only admire and watch Kiyoi from distance, this is enough for him, and this tought will continue ever after he will meet Kiyoi again, and this will become apparent to everyone as we will watch the next eps.
i finished reading the novel few hours ago and it was wholesome. it honestly isn’t so bad, yeah sure they are…
A very accurate summary of what kind of relationship Hira and Kiyoi has. I am just surprised on how everyone is blaming Kiyoi when both are at fault for everything that happens between them. They both know what they are doing, and as time pass and they get to know each other more, they both realise what they have to do for things to get better when it comes to their relationship and as individuals, but they are moments when they are content to stay that way, and they also have moments when they take the right decisions. What they have between them is not static, like they will not remain the same as how they are at the beginning of the drama and novel, and i am sad people just judge their actions separately and not see the whole picture and reasons behind their actions. Both the novel and the drama are really fascinating to read and watch, because they are really complex and psychological too. I like the most how Hira low self-esteem was writed in the novel and acted in the drama ( i hope Hagiwara Riku becomes more popular after this drama and to land some more main roles, he is amazing). Like, yes Hira has too much low self- esteem which is not good, but it id so relatable to see him being like this, his character is really realistic, like i think almost everyone can sympathize with him. This is how a lot of people are in real life, not all people are able to live with confidence, and have an average self- esteem, and they justt learn to live with it, or overcome it in time.

I just made a thread about this. There is an english translation of the novel, but is in the beginning stage of the translation.
