I just made a thread recently.

Thank you. I know people opinion on this can be very different and i understand this. I just wanted to give a different perspective. I was not willing to delete my comment because i do think that my life experience entitled me to write this comment, but at the same time, i was starting having doubts if writing the comment was the right choice. I do think i am at the age where i see things differently and not defining everything by healthy and unhealthy ( especially in this case, as what happens between them is only a bit unhealthy, nothing happening between them being against their will, they are not consenting issues here) and white and black. When i wrote their relationship is not unhealthy, i didn't mean is healthy, but that defining relationships like this is childish. And i was bothered that some people has put this label in their relationship, as if there is not any room left for the characters to grow and for them to ever deserve to be together, because this is how some comments come across.

And don`t mind this person (J100) comments, from other comments made by him/her, it seems that we should give up making him understand our point of view. I actually had some discussions with this person in the past, and i liked and considered the comments she/he made to me as reasonable, and i was shocked seeing those kind of comments. I would be very angry by what he/she replied to you if i was on your place, because your reply to him/her was completely reasonable and easy to understand, but he took it in a totally exagerrated way. Again, what the ......, what differentiate people from actual killers is the fact that they don`t put those actions in reality, is not fair to imagine how a character will do based on a dream, because a lot of people have moments when they have dreams that they wish to hurt a person when they are are really angry, is a thing that happens in the spur of a moment.

Yes. I am also frustrated when people say their relationship is unhealthy, like in what way is unhealthy? Is like people aren`t able to differentiate between how the characters are separately, as an individual and how they behave and are when they interact together. Is like some people see or imagine what they wish to see, not what actually happens between them. Because both of them are happy when they are together, KIYOI is not forcing Hira to do anything for him, but he gives him things to do for him because he wants to interact with him and he also knows Hira likes this. Is obvious Hira enjoy being around KIYOI, and this episode shows that Kiyoi is trying to found out what Hira actually wants for him, but because both are still insecure about what they want from the other, the time they take away from each other will do them both good.
The characters are a bit unhealthy, as they have some issues they have to work on, especially Hira ( but who don`t have them, i have them, no one is perfect in this world), but what this have to do with their relationship. The characters being the way they are as individuals has nothing to do with how they feel when they are together. Interacting with each other and being together make both of them happy, it don`t stress them, hurt them, make them escape from the relationship like in actually "unhealthy" relationships. And they are not even really together yet, like they are not dating, why are people already label their relationship as unhealthy, based on what?. People can be extremely messed up and have the most unhealthy habits, but they are able to be in a normal relationship, if they really like the other person, and they feel they should cherish the relationship ( being in a relationship with someone you love, can make one want to restrain their bad habits and be a better person), if no for another reason but only to be able to stay together with that person.

This is exactly what i also think. Japanese BL dramas and movies usually don`t shy away from showing properly and impactful kiss scenes, and when they are shown, they are filmed carefully, to actually fit the overall story and the characters personality and situation. If they decided to show the scene this way it`s because they want to convey something indirectly, and your description is spot on. In the novel too, Kiyoi still haven`t figure it out what to do between what it is between him and Hira, so the kiss showed this way speak volumes for me.

It has 5 stars from me from the moment i saw the novel in Novelupdates. I saw the rating has lowered a bit, bu this happens for a lot of novels. They are some people who check the newly translated BL novels in NU to give it 1 stars. It will get better after it has more chapters translated. At this point, i am also i bit worried and wondering if the translator plans to continue translating the novel, since it has been some time since he posted the first chapter. But i am hopeful sthe translator will continue with it.

Yep. I also come across a review about what happens in Nikurashii kare, and i liked what i read about it.

WOAAA. Only good news comes from Japan lately.
Beside the movie continuation of Cherry magic that it was confirmed it will be released next year, i just saw that the drama Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko is also confirmed for a season 2 with the same cast.
So if they will also make multiple seasons for a BL drama like Zettai BL, we might have a chance for a Utsukushii kare season 2, especially since they have a lot of material to work with, the novel being really long.

In the Recent Release section who is in the middle of the page, click v1c1 ( it will send you to the translator website). Only the first chapter is translated as the novel started being translated recently. You are just unfamiliar with Novelupdates most likely.
