I saw her prof pic is a dog...and she posted a cat...So, 2ha is really her masterpiece! HAHAHAHow did you know…
I also observed that sometimes, if the translators really love an author or a novel, they translate and add in NU even the parts of chapters or full chapters that the authors have posted in instagram, twitter or other platforms.
That`s why when they are chapters translated in NU that can`t be found in jjwxc website, they usually originates from the published novel or chapters made available by the author using other means.

From what i know, the mainland ( China) published novels are a censored version ( but it does have more fluffly and bl content than the novels released in jjwxc platform online and it has some more extra chapters or bonus content, things like that ) , while the taiwanese published version are uncensored. Usually novels that are really popular, like Sha Po Lang, other Priest novels, Meng Xi Shi novels- it has both versions, a taiwanese and mainland one.
MXTX novels that will be published in english are uncensored, and i read all published non- chinese novels, like in english, rusian, etc, and even from previous releases (since i read MDZS was published before in english for some countries, but no made in a high scale) are uncensored.
The uncensored novels are probably translated from the original uncensored script made available by the author or from the taiwanese published version.
jjwxc is the the larger chinese web novels site. The second best when it comes to the bl novels translated from there is Changpei, here is a list of the novels from there- https://www.novelupdates.com/opublisher/chang-pei-gongzicp/
https://www.novelupdates.com/opublisher/jiangsu-phoenix-art-publishing-house/ - this site has also some bl novels translated
There is qidian too, but it has more BG novels
Anyway they are alot of publishers, https://www.novelupdates.com/list-original-publisher/?st=1&sort=count&order=desc You can see here.
A novel can also be hosted by more than one platform, while having a different version of it, but it happens rarely.

The restrictions on novels are not new from what i know.
I read i think about one or two years ago about jjwxc checking the chapters and locking or removing chapters of novels that has problematic content, like dubcon, noncon, r**e scenes, and long explicit scenes too. They also don't allow overly explicit sex scenes too, but i don't know how long back the restrictions were implemented.
But starting from this year, they do it more actively, especially for newly released novels. I am sure, that they are not removing any chapters that has a very short and light non con or dub con, or just l short mentions of r**e scenes, but the chapters were those scenes are long, and overly explicit
If you will check in NU, you will see that the novels that has explicit content or really heavy problematic content are not from jjwxc or if they are from them, the chapters translated are more likely from the published version of the novel- especially the ones from Taiwan because they are usually uncensored ( this refer to popular novels usually, like the ones from Priest, MXTX and Meatbun). Is also probably for the older novels, especially the ones published before the restrictions begin, to escape for the surveillance, after all jjwxc has a lot of novels, not even including the BG ones. They are a few other platform beside JJWXC were authors can release their novels. For 2ha, most likely the chapters translated are from an uncensored published version of the novel.
This is also why authors sometime release part of chapters, extra chapters using another platform that don`t have those restrictions, i read Meng Xi Shi and Priest also interacts with their fans and has done this before.

Like RedLotusPavilion said, at the moment danmei LA adaptations are not banned. All that happened is that there…
Yes. I tought about this too, and i come to the conclusion that donghuas are free from this mess because they have a small, specific audience ( they wouldn`t ever become as popular as dramas or discussed by people at school, but are kept in a enclossed circle in a way ) and donghuas usually don`t make people reflect and want to spend time on them, like for exemple i watch them, and go to so other things quickly, is more of a really temporary entertainment that i wouldn`t rewatch them too. Novels and manhuas are similar too, even through i find novels addictive too, but is the same thing, they are only a few great danmei novels that are great quality wise, and are talked and bought more , about 20-30% from the total amount . This is my personal opinion based only on the danmei novels translated ( from what i read the amount of chinese novels that are published on official website is huge) and if i compared them with western published novels.
For games, it can gets addictive, especially for children, so i think that`s why they put restriction on them

Donghuas, manhuas and novels are not affected at all by this (( at least not in a significant and obvious way, as restrictions were in place even before, especially for novels that are in released in jjwxc platform). I am 100% sure of this. Bilibili will also release soon Lie Huo Jiao Chou donghua, since i saw it has released new teasers, and the bl donghuas that are in the middle of airing right now, don`t have many eps left.

Yes. I do believe this will affect Immortality and WIK a bit, as they will be re-examined after making some changes to them or the production team will be instructed to do some edits, but because they got the broadcast license first, they should be the first ones that gets to air- after as you said the storm calms. Hope the edits will be minimal, as it can be done, since they passed censorship first time around, so it should be fine.
I also think we may get 1-2 BL adapt per year.

Yes. It has gotten the broadcast license/approval as you word it ( and passed censorship as well, because otherwise it wouldn`t have gotten the broadcast license, the broadcast license is the last step) and then what should follow is getting an airing spot, and this can depend of a lot of stuff, especially if a drama has to be aired by different platforms at the same time. The second broadcast license was rumoured to be because they re-submitted it the second time for censorship as they wanted the drama to feature on the main page, but i don`t know how true those rumours were. and they were mixed opinions about this too.
Winner is king has gotten the broadcast license too, in mai.
But from what i read, Immortality and WIK can still be re-examined, like maybe it wouldn`t include getting everything done from the start, but only one phase or some parts of the drama.

Guy I heard this drama will never see the light of day because Chinese CCP will ban it. I would like to know if…
Like RedLotusPavilion said, at the moment danmei LA adaptations are not banned.
All that happened is that there was a meeting where they officially discussed about a lot of things not only danmei dramas, and it was expressed that they are against danmei dramas trend fenomen. This is obviously not a good thing, as indirectly it means that they will be more strict on what danmei dramas get the green light to air ( the broadcast license), and they will not pass censorship as easily, so the danmei dramas will more likely has to do as many edits as the boards wants ( at least probably they won`t let any drama that has a bl content as direct as how WOH has), and they want the danmei dramas to have more of a bromance feel. They will also most likely restrict the number of danmei adaptations that can be released per year, i mean production team can still make them but if they will restrict the number, probably fewer will be made.
But nothing indicate that danmei dramas will be banned, and they weren`t banned. The majority of people and i as well, believe they will not be banned, those dramas are censored already, the productions companies just have to be more careful in the content they film. Is not like in the past when all chinese bl dramas were banned because the dramas/movies back there has kiss scenes or more intimate content.
I am amazed how many people believe that they were banned or will be banned. If that was the case, it would have happened until now, because Chinese CCP acts fast when it comes to things that they want changed radically.
Honestly i hope people inform themselves, they are a lot of reliable twitter accounts that has adressed this matter. I think in mdl is still better than other places, but in youtube for exemple, the misinformations is severe and i can tell from the comments that some people don`t know what they are writing in their comments.

Haha, my twitter feeds are full of people begging netflix to buy hyx...are you one of them on twitter?
From what i observed, international fans can get a slighty different version than the one released on China, but not by much, as it will definitely won`t be a completely uncensored version or a completely different version, if that was the case, we would have got a totally different uncesored version of Untamed and WOH.
When people say a different version it means some scenes are cut a bit different or it adds a few more seconds/minutes to the last ep, so they could slip a different happily ending. ( like how it happened with the bonus 3 minutes of WOH or the minutes added in the last ep from the special edition of Untamed). I hope this will be allowed for the future danmei LA adaptation too.

You can check this link too, that is also posted in the discussion thread of the novel here . Check the edited machine translations at the end, if you don`t want to wait, and because they are definitely better than reading purely mtl. The majority of people who read 2HA completely used the edited mtls.

Sorry for making a lot of grammatical mistakes, i wrote on my phone in a hurry. After editing it a bit my comment looks a little more like writed by a human, hahha.
A league of nobleman is a special and particular case. I will copy paste to you a comment of mine where i addressed this earlier.
" The novel has very little romantic content between the characters, like from what i read there i not even a kiss, even through i can`t tell you for sure since the novel is not completely translated., but it was believed to be a bl novel by the chinese danmei fans, since the author do write more danmei novels than BG. Beside this, there were some issues between the author of the novel and the scriptwriter of the drama and the production team- the author has said the plot of the dramas is completely different from her novel, and at short time the author has said that her novel is not a danmei/bl one, but belong to the crime/investigation genre with no CP.
Because of this we can deduce the drama was intended from the beginning to be different from the novel, and it will not be considered a drama adapted from a bl novel, so that`s why it will most likely manage to air until the end of the year. My personal opinion is that it will be a bromance drama, but it will have a danmei LA hype, because of the novel." Especially because the content was changed, the majority of people knows that this drama will only be bromance, comments like i made are all over A league of nobleman mdl page. People who visited regularly the page of A LEAGUE OF NOBLEMAN in mdl knows what happened, they are even the links with the interviews the author has given at the time.

From the rumours Tencent will not give up, i read they are in the middle of re-editing and producing HYX but the source is not that reliable at this point, but this is Tencent, i firmly believe it wants part of the investment made back, i mean both HYX ( but especially HYX) and WIK has huge budgets. And Tencent has three danmai LA adaptations filmed: HYX, WIK and Chasing the lights ( based on the novel Saye by Wu Zhe).
I also saw your comment below and want to answer: they aren't as many danmei LA adaptation in production or filmed at you think- HYX, WIK, Chasing the lights, Seizing dreams, The abyss, Guardians of the lands, In darkness, The story of the bat are the ones that finished filming. The ones in production are Eternal faith and two rumoured dramas based In Wu zhe novels, but those last two probably haven't started actually filming, and are still preparing, since it don't exist any kind of movements surrounding those two dramas. Is also important the genre and investment of those dramas, and the only ones who are made to gain hype and invested as much as necessary ( as done carefully) and will most likely gain popularity are HYX, WIK, Chasing the lights, Eternal faith. IN DARKNESS and The abyss are from the crime/invest genre, the relationship development will probably keep to the minimum, and the content butchered as hell ( those who watched modern crime/invest dramas made by China know what i am talking about), but if they mess with the characters personality of The abyss i am gonna criticize the production team until the end of the world. Seizing dreams is hard to adapt in the first place and i heard a lot has been changed storyline wise. Guardians of the lands don't have that much hype, and i also don't have high expectations from it ( the costume are....sigh), and The story of the bat too.

Yes. The anime is amazing, and is a better adaptation of the manga because it has more eps of the same length that the ones from the drama, and it even has a movie animation for the second couple. I also saw a special ep related to the anime will be released this year too.

If League of Noblemen has been licensed to broadcast, then we will have to wait until it airs to see how strict…
The issue is that League of Nobleman is not an indicator of an adaptation based on a bl novel, because from the start it was not intended to be filmed as one.
The novel has very little romantic content between the characters, like from what i read there i not even a kiss, even through i can`t tell you for sure since the novel is not completely translated., but it was belived to be a bl novel by the chinese danmei fans, since the author do write more danmei novels than BG. Beside this, there were some issues between the author of the novel and the scriptwriter of the drama and the production team- the author has said the plot of the dramas is completely different from her novel, and at short time the author has said that her novel is not a danmei/bl one, but belong to the crime/investigation genre with no CP.

My personal opinion is that it will be a bromance drama, but it will have a danmei LA hype, because of the novel, but we shouldn`t judge how strict is the government is with future danmei LAs because of this drama.

Yes. I saw this a few hours ago, but i didn`t want to bring this issue again since i mentioned this will most…
To be honest i am not picky, i was happy to how Untamed was adapted. Being able to see the characters i love being brought to life and at least tell their own story, even if the bl relationships are keep to minimum is enough. That`s why deep down i am angry to this situation, since i didn`t even wanted for upcoming adaptations to be as "gay" or ''bl" as WOH as some people like to mention. Sigh, i only wanted to see my favorite characters be portrayed in a drama, but now at least this year and next year at least we will probably get nothing. But i do trust that danmei dramas will still be allowed to air in time.

Very good news all the dramas adapted from BL novels are blocked 🙃from a reliable twitter source
Yes. I saw this a few hours ago, but i didn`t want to bring this issue again since i mentioned this will most likely happen at some point, and i got the impression that people tought that i was bringing negativism to the page. But from i saw is not that bad, from what i read danmei LA adaptation are not banned, but from now on they want to restrict the number of danmei LA adaptations made and to be more strict in the content they will allow to be aired, so the danmei LA adaptations will be more lowkey and less mainstream, i don`t know how to say it better.
Dramapotatoe mentioned this too, and said that while danmei LA adaptations are not banned, they will be tough to be aired at least for a while.
And i will add here the post i read from Nana channel in twitter- i find this user really reliable, as she knows chinese and her sources are really trustworthy in my opinion.
https://twitter.com/NanaBeingNana/status/1438733444700377088
This post make by her also bring me hope. I also personally don`t think China will not allow the airing of danmei LA adaptations at all, even if they are puting even more restrictions on what scenes are allowed to pass censorship, it has to allow some kind of LBGTQ representation, even if is not an accurate one, as it caters more to females who reads the danmei novels the adaptations are based of, but otherwise they will not have any representation, and China is not that unreasonable, at least this is what i think.
Honestly i think this was meant to happen anyway. I don`t know if i was the only one, but i got really worried when i saw how WOH was promoted by Youku ( i have nothing against the actors, but i blame the production team of the drama and Youku- this is not the first time it happened, Guardian was made by Youku too and it was taken down, re-edited and only then released again), they keep touching the bottom line of what is allowed to be shown as a danmei bl adaptation. I know what happened now is not only because of one drama of course, but i personally think WOH is one of the important reasons of why danmei adaptation are targeted now. Maybe i was able to predict this because i watched all the other bl movies China made in the past, and i saw the transition from the period of this country making bl movies and dramas, and then the scandal that made China decide to ban bl movies and dramas entirely and only allow censorship danmei adapt, and also what happened until now.
