told you something is definitely wrong behind this drama, this was supposedly to be exclusive to tencent first…
iirc although the drama with XZ and Yangzi was produce under tencent it will be shown on IQiyi also, so they just want to acquire the rights to produce it, where it will shown is still negotiable, but thats after XZ popularity, the Wolf however was literally day one they have major rights to it, so that answers your question, "they do have the rights to it, they want to monopolize being the production team imo not where it will be shown.
told you something is definitely wrong behind this drama, this was supposedly to be exclusive to tencent first…
like i said lossing that exclusivity seems like a minor deal, and if you look at it seems for the better, but they lost it even before XZ rise to popularity, even if the series has lost its exclusivity that time, it still doesnt change the fact that tencent has the major rights of this drama, so probably something happend around 2018 behind closed doors that made tencent not agree to air it exclusively, that can be someone offended them, director, writer etc. can also be financial dispute between staffs, i dont know, but tencent has the major say in this drama, and this being delayed multiple times is just beyond explanation, given to that tencent didnt even bother promoting it much after the buzz it generated after the trailer. i mean that trailer is the only one, some low budget elseries even has 1 2 3 trailers.. this is really nonesensical
Today is a sort of Chinese Valentine day, 520 day which in chinese idioms can be read as "I love you", so it is…
told you something is definitely wrong behind this drama, this was supposedly to be exclusive to tencent first but now most platforms have access to it as well as tv broadcasts so that exclusive definitely didnt go through but nonetheless since it recovered from lossing that exclusivity with multiple platforms as well as tv rights all seems good again,, but the most baffling is tencent, Tencent has major rights in this drama, the trailer even has their logo plastered to it..
literally everyone talking how they r only staying for the chemistry between leads coS the plot is too draggy…
even chemistry gets killed by nonsensical plotlines as well as stupid little misunderstanding just to drag the series to its final episode, cdramas are common in this category, dramas like Here to heart also suffer from this, plot is nothing special and the series has nothing to offer except for chemistry but even that gets killed come near the end, ive also seen a 70 ep cdrama like the final 15 episodes literally can be sum up like the final 30 mins of some dramas,(couple gets married, have a child, family reconciles etc.etc,) just to drag more episodes
Im barely starting off with this drama and already I want to drop it.....its seems to be draggy for no reason,…
dubbing is mostly bad in cdramas, they even used other voice actors to dub it, so thats nothing new, also english is mostly bad be it in any asian dramas, so accent is also nothing new, (they cant even speak english clearlry sometimes so expecting accents is a bit much), and this drama is a bit dragging but considering its a cdrama its also doable, before some cdramas are like 70 eps with plots more dragging and shallow compared to this one, but all in all i like this one to be around 32-40 honestly, + this one has nothing to offer much as its just silly lmao, if they didnt change the ending i suggest interested viewers to just skip it, as the staying point of this drama solely is SWL and LY "chemistry" but if they didnt change the ending well, that goes out the window also..
I heard an interesting theory today. It does not concern "The Wolf" literally, but the industry itself and I think…
online buzz for this dramas has not been lacking since 2017, as for the promotion the major production company is mostly responsible for that, some lesser companies probably is involve but mostly one major production is mostly responsible for promotions. problem is, imo this dramas has close to none since 2017, except for that trailer lmao, probably cuz since the dramas has been greatly anticipated since 2017 and that they decide to not advertise it "better" cuz it did great by itself, just to cut extra expenses.. but nonetheless china is not like other countries like lets say korea who advertise a drama more prior to its release, in china there some dramas in which zero advertisement but suddenly it will air without notice.. but also dramas that even are in post production has a high chance of getting axed in china imo.. in some countries dramas in post production like 100% will air unless a major shocking controversy will occur in that series like death etc but in china theres like a 10-20% chance a drama already in post production will be stuck in post production or even a 10% chanced of getting axed without any reason at all..
on the original source they were not but on the drama adaptation they are
on the novel? no but on the drama, its not yet revealed, so was hoping that theyll also change it cuz they already change the same person aspect.. really hope that they'll end up together in the drama tho
istg so many c dramas this month r doing this, where they let u pay to get the remaining episodes straight away!!…
lmao literally the drama is all over the place, was also just curious of how they will portray the ending, is it the same or theyll change it, first time i saw the trailer after it was first release i already was sceptical on Peter being the 2nd ML, after watching it lmao Peter is literally out of place in this drama imo, hes character seems very force,
Wow, WYB got almost 50% more than XZ although he had a lot less work to do! And someone recently insisted that…
its a metaphor used to try to explain or pin point somthing out not an actual shortcut, ofc there's a lot of hurdles and challenges that comes with it but due to the untamed it shot him to stardom like 1 to 10, theres very few who can rise to popularity like that, can you imagine if he didnt take the role cuz he was paid 5M only like some people says? like probably he will still be an average joe still, ive seen hundreds or even thousands of good actors who also didnt fail to commit or show enough determination in the entirety of their career but most of them still are not recognize why? cuz they aren't that lucky with their projects but still tjat doesnt change the fact that they are good actors also there's very few who can be considered at the top of the entertainment industry, like you said theres only one XZ, i dont know if XZ is like the best actor that you've seen, but to me he is is only a good actor among thousands other,
Wow, WYB got almost 50% more than XZ although he had a lot less work to do! And someone recently insisted that…
WYB is still a Main Role be that the 2nd lead, i was not confuse, Xiao Zhan is the Main Lead, but imo getting paid around 5M( around 700KUSD) is the average for actors like XZ during that time of his career, theres nothing to be disappointed about it really, the production company was not low balling him like some other people say, XZ is not a house hold name prior to the untamed what do people expect, Pay him like around 20M, it was his worth at that time, no one earns buckets during the start of their career and thats in any field of career, imo XZ gained a lot that even him getting paid half of that is still a win situation for him cuz imo, his value skyrocketed after the untamed that its like a shortcut honestly, Yi Bo also increase his value but not to the extent of XZ, imo the people getting paid the worst are the supporting casts/minor roles who are also less popular if you see the value its really small compared to the 5M honestly, but given they also play a minor role.
Wow, WYB got almost 50% more than XZ although he had a lot less work to do! And someone recently insisted that…
its the usual amount for actors that play main roles that are specially new to the industry, nothing to be bothered about, its not like they are paying him less, its just the usual amount (around 700k usd)for how he is evaluated during that time, supporting casts are paid worse than them but given they are supporting roles. nobody starts getting paid like huge amounts during the start of their career..
I don’t think they will be step siblings, they have changed a lot of things. I read an ending that has a diFferent…
i know that the original has a bad ending as ive stated on my previous comment, was asking for the ending of the drama adaptation but since its not over yet, its still left unanswered, just like you was hoping that at least this drama will have a good ending for both the leads as they modified some of the story already anyways.. and this drama seems like in a bad shape overall, lmao, also cant stand Peter's character in this drama, his character seems really forced..
Wow, WYB got almost 50% more than XZ although he had a lot less work to do! And someone recently insisted that…
XZ and WYB got paid on the untamed as an unproven star add to that they are idols, these kind of actors are mostly paid around that fee, unless they are already a popular singer/idol, and WYB is also a Main character not a supporting character, theres a small difference between talent fees of ML and Main Roles, unless the ML is very popular, was surprising that WYB got a slight advantage tho, as for the wolf, XZ probably got paid around 3-5 M as you have said, hes a newbie that time and iirc Darren was really popular around 15-2017, that the wolf was supposed to ride in his coattails atm.
Everyone is screaming for a scarlet heart ryeo season 2. Yet here i am, still silently suffering for 3 long years…
scarlet heart won't have a sequel unless they buy the rights and make an original sequel, cuz the chinese sequel sucks so bad people literally act as if it doesnt exists, This series is over imo, the original author wont agree to what they did or they need to ay least pay 3-5x premium, but honestly it seems over for this series, highly likely..
w8 for the ending, if they revise it to have at least a good ending imo at least youll have that, if not and they follow the normal ending, then better just skip it, most of the characters are toxic, and the 2nd ML is really an old man child, i can handle age gaps but given the leads are young and the 2nd lead is in his mid 40's, i can handle him being like calm, possessive or somewhat scheming 2nd male lead, but this man child is violent at first glance, super possessive, and acts like in his teens but looks like their uncle and god some of his outfits are downright cringy for how he looks no matter what age his character is..
