it's not just popular it is good for the majority thats why if your on the minority your on the lossing side, even if you said its not good for you personally, majority still says its good, thats my point.. theres tons of dramas that are popular but at the same time are badly rated same with some of the dramas of popular actress and actors, but if a drama has positive rating rather than negative means a lot of people find it more appealing and even if you said its not good it still doesn't change the fact the majority finds it good. i respect your opinion, but you guys keep mentioning it is bad and is trying to assert that it is indeed bad to me but when 80-90% of its viewers find it good, we can't deny that fact, you guys keep misunderstanding the difference between actual facts and personal preferences.. popular dramas = good drama who even states that, i didnt state that, even the new condor series adaptations or the martial universe adaptations the great ruler and other dramas are popular but is badly rated..

suit yourself, but given that your on the minority and is focusing more on your opinion ignoring the fact that a lot of people like Ashes means your already on the wrong side of the cliff when it comes to overall quality of the drama. i mean i get it that at the end it is personally based on preferences but any Xinxia drama that is better than Ashes or Ten Miles that are in the past i havnt know about them, some of the Wuxia series like the Condor Series did better in the past though, and you clearly know your preferences a balance wuxia series with all elements, so why watch dramas like Fake Princess and Tiger and Rose when clearly its a low budget humor romance drama, its like you went to the cinema to watch action but watch a romance flick but later complained that it has no action.. just a quick thoughts tho nothing to argue really.. cheers..

i dont need you to express your personal experience on those dramas, i suggest watch an action movie lmao, these dramas lasts for several hours, i can't even name dramas that doesn't involve talking and staring at each other for several times... and really based on your opinion Legends of awakening is average when dramas like Ashes have like the same formula.. and dramas like Fake Princess and Romance of Tiger Rose are low budget flicks that focuses on literally, humor and talking so if you expect action or intense plot development, you choose your drama properly instead of complaining something that is not part of the series being offered, choose something like Langya Bang or somethinf along those lines, dont choose a humor focus drama and complain that it lacks intensity and action lol, you know your preference so choose the series you want..

cencorship isnt QA lol, its a board that acts and reviews dramas before it airs, and if the said drama is deemed viewer friendly and at the same time doesnt break any national and broadcasting rules, (too brutal, too sexual, portrays something that can be viewed as trying to bend how the past unfolds etc. etc) the board doesn't care how shitty a drama plot is as long as it doesnt break any laws..

streaming sites are not click per action so just visiting them wont earn them any i think, they earn if you stream and membership, as for Alice Wang, well shes been at it since last year, the only time i remember her slow down is probably, September to December last year, as shes a die hard fan of XZ... aa ive said the best way for this is just to continue your everyday activities without any expectations if this airs then good, this drama is on my list since it was announce but ive only been disappointed by 1 false airing date, and thats last year.. some people think that it will air every month after their initial guess was wrong, and at the end to only disappointment themselves, as ive said before something is wrong with this drama, for unknown reason it has no concrete news as well as airing dates. that came officially from the directors or the company responsible.

well frankly speaking these shots of horses are sometimes done like these prior to the evolution of CGI anyways.. the director probably wants ultra realistic shots same logic goes with hiring stuntman. cuz usually theres the animal but theyll do the action and cut the shot and do some CGI or the involvement of animatronic.. problem is trained animals are still not as good as professional stuntmans... honestly ive watch the shot with the horses.. the director probably wants it to be more practical rather than CGI oriented.. but cmon anyone who watched that shot with the horses can tell that animal activists group will have a say on that and it clearly will be a topic of question upon asking for cencorship//

Jung Yoo Mi,hmm i love her and im expecting great things for this drama cuz of her,, for Nam Joo Hyuk.. errmm okay.. lol, the only drama that i like nor kinda agree that hes a perfect fit for his character is WeightLifting, other than that, its the typical NJH performance in which he literally needs to improve at some parts..

lmao, your dreaming if thats the kind of plot you have in your mind, have you seen an unplanned sequel that doesn't involve stupid or unwanted breakups? specially in xinxia in which death,rebirth memory loss is mostly present, kindly let me know if you know of one cuz ive watched tones of cdramas and i have not seen any, what you have in mind is a plot for around 20-30 eps tops and a very shallow one at that, havent they all reconciled at the end? whay you want deng lun to wage war again after showing that they all reconciled, or killed Leo Character and add some new overpowered baddie and drag it till ep 40-50 and focus more on the supporting casts cuz all you want them to show is the ML having sweet moments, yeah thats totally possible sweet moments only and no conflict for the leads, haven't seen that in any drama tho...cuz for you guys thats totally possible, ill give you that if they do that story theyll have an argument cux Yangzi wants to recover her sight but deng lun is fine with her being blind and at the same time busy with that new baddie and getting back heaven realm so they have an argument and temporarily go on their seperate tasks, jeyah getting back her sight and getting heaven realm, you can totally stretched that plot for 40-50 ep series and that's a total stretched already unless some convoluted shitty plot that is not them breaking up is involved ? probably, evil twins or their child is evil incarnate cuz of deng luns blood being contaminated by the demon tribe,, and most Chinese fans will scream totally useless and they shouldn't have done something like this..

theres tons of worst actresses out there whos way into more dramas, dramas that are more high profile as well as more expensive.. so...and this is a mid tier budget drama unlike some of the more expensive and anticipated dramas and some of those have even worse actresses in it..

thanks, i already have my eyes on that drama since it was announce.. but that drama is around mid tier when it comes to budgets..

actually these are all speculations on the drama with some fact that are happening in china added (cencorship, campaign delays etc)thats why i was using probably and imo, 2018 was the dramas targeted airdate first right? it was even plastered on the trailer.. as for the numbers of episode update, around late 2019 the board implement and suggested to limit the episode of dramas to somewhat around 40-50ish, as for the XZ/reshoot scenes, as i have stated before this drama did not have any news or gossip or confirmed news having reshoots on weibo etc.(not that ive known or read myself at least) but since the commenter above said reshoots all i can think about is the rumored reshoots and additional scenes for XZ after his rise to popularity but imo thats even not confirmed as this drama literally has no official announcement.. these speculations itself can be trace on this comment board with some added infos like weibo links etc. if you skim around those dates like ive said around mid 2019 cuz theres also gossip going around that time like airdates etc..

i agree that it does indeed happen but imo its only rarely and is less common, and XZ and XK are somewhat kinda busy nowadays playing lead roles specially XZ..
