Lmao I feel like this drama needs grown men (and ones who can act) and most of the wishes I’m seeing here and elsewhere are still little baby-face boys to me, but that may be because I’ve only seen them in blue shorts or black pants and ties haha
Have you ever used MEB before? (I wish they had made it available on Amazon as well.)
I have not. I looked at the website on my phone but it was all in Thai so I didn’t get much out of it lol. But I read somewhere that there’s an app so it’s easier to purchase the book through that and read it there.
Y’all in here rooting for the young ones and I’m just like, Ten Tosatid anyone? Of course, I know they posted the contenders and he wasn’t there *sigh* but I had to give my man some love lol
My instinct tell me that Gunsmile would be playing a part as a Support Role 5555
Oh my god if he’s even in the running and they don’t give him a lead role I-
Lmao but seriously though we may be on to something....recalling his performance in SOTUS I can definitely see him playing a bad ass mafioso who’s secretly soft. Or a bodyguard who is also a secret softie....
I thought it was cute. Slicey, and the plot for each episode was pretty much surface-level, but I laughed throughout and enjoyed the characters. It’s good to watch when you’re in between longer dramas.
Just as you are allowed to praise and rave about a show, so are people allowed to complain about a show. This…
lol right! This sentiment of “don’t comment anything unless it’s praise” is rampant on some of these BL drama pages and I’m just tired of it. I also frequently see negative comments characterized as hate when they’re really not (but I guess what one views as hate can be subjective too). Like, just because it’s a different opinion doesn’t mean it’s hate. Instead of saying someone’s review of the show is deceitful, say instead that you disagree, and then explain why. If people think a drama is amazing, I want to hear that and hear why. But I also want to hear if people think it’s boring, stiff, terribly acted, etc. It all helps me (and probably others) decide whether I want to invest time in it or not.
I also hate when people give 10s to “counter-balance” low ratings. To me that’s deceptive, because it implies you would have given a lower rating had you been honest. And there are almost always far more 10s and 9s than other scores on these dramas, which is why so many are (in my opinion) too highly rated, but you can’t tell who’s being sincere and who’s just doing it to boost the score lol
Seeing Boyfriend made me sooooo sad. I know they disbanded last year, but I remember when they debuted and seeing some of the members here (late as I am to this show lol) brought back all the feels.
This was cute! Really good acting and production value. I’m positive it’s the school/student/jock/nerd storylines, but this gave me the same vibes as several YA m/m novels I’ve read, so if you’re into those, I think you’d definitely like this. Heck, even if you’re not, you should still give this a try! Definitely one of the better Filipino BLs I’ve seen so far.
I know it’s the whole base for the joke, but seeing their “Tee” names spelled out like that under the cast section is really hilarious to me. I feel like it sets the tone already haha. I was on the fence about this one, but I think I’ll give it a go once it finishes airing.
I remember watching this reaction and have to admit to being a bit surprised by some of the comments they made.…
Hmmmm but to pull the copyright card just because your (the director) feelings are hurt because of negative opinions are expressed about you when you don’t for other reaction videos that use around the same amount of content is still a misuse of copyright law/strikes, to me. I suppose if the comments didn’t really go to the content at all but they were still using clips (i.e., they used clips but didn’t directly comment on them/connect it to their critiques), then you could argue it falls outside of fair use. But I’m not a fan of trying to remove something just because you don’t like what’s being said about you (as a public figure and content creator) no matter how harsh it may be (unless it’s criminal or slander of course).
Sorry—I don’t mean to butt in and I say all this respectfully; just giving my two cents! ^^ I never saw the video so I’m speaking from a more abstract POV.
Sometimes I feel frustrated when I read some of your reactions to what are not bad shows at all, Oxygen being…
Just as you are allowed to praise and rave about a show, so are people allowed to complain about a show. This isn’t a fan page where only positive comments can be left. Just because someone has a different opinion of the show and doesn’t like it as much as you, and writes a review or comment reflecting that, doesn’t mean it’s “unfair” or deceptive. This is all subjective, opinions and not facts, and people can read a variety of opinions/reviews and make their own decision whether to watch based on that.
In other words, you can express your love for this show and talk about the things you like without telling people who voice things they don’t like about it to drop it and watch something else, as well as implying that their opinions are invalid merely because you don’t agree with them.
Ahh was that scene not in the novel? I was curious about that.
Exactly! The sad thing is a lot of viewers still do enjoy these and other toxic or questionable tropes, so I don’t think they’re going away any time soon. :(
I also think that some things are just better in book form. It sounds like this one was mostly character-driven rather than plot driven, and that can be hard to transfer onto screen (hence the added drama—screenwriter didn’t know what else to do to move the story along lol).
Geeze I really freaking hate that. Like OP, I think any content creator should not only expect but respect criticism, whether it’s good or bad. I hate that companies can misuse copyright law to silence smaller, less powerful creators because they say something with which the company disagrees. ESPECIALLY when it’s clearly done under fair use. Thanks for sharing!

This, right here. Cannot agree more.
