did I miss something, I thought there was only 3 episodes out HSAJDOJASHDBJ
On the official GMMTV YouTube only three are out. I believe some VIP membership through another service allows early access to future episodes, so some people with that are illegally uploading them.
Lazy Subber posted on Facebook a few hours ago that links with subs (I’d guess English but language not confirmed) will be available soon for international viewers!
Haha of course! And when he told the guy his ears weren’t pierced I was straight up looking at the hole in his right ear. I mean I know they’re working with what they got, but they could have at least tried.....lmao
(Disclaimer before anyone comes for me: I’m just joking lol not nitpicking).
Ok, the end of episode 3....I’m sorry, I cannot take that seriously. Come on, how ridiculous are we going to…
Oh I know lol. I’ve been reading/watching BLs for more than 10 years now so you’re preaching to the choir. But if something’s stupid and OTT, I’m gonna rant about it lmao Here it’s just extra stupid because it doesn’t make any sense in the context of the show, thus: unnecessary shock value and manufactured drama that adds absolutely nothing.
Given the comments I expected this to be a dumpster fire but it's not that bad. It seems like whoever wrote it…
Agree so much about the (potential) Thai influence. From the tropes, characters, zany vibes. If I didn’t hear the Tagalog myself, I’d think I was watching a Thai BL from a few years ago.
What? It's a fetish to think a love scene is hot? Some people here are really prudish. Yikes.
I don’t think it’s that people are prude, but rather these scenes are seen as fetishizing gay relationships bc some viewers freak out over them *because* it’s two hot guys kissing. Certainly this doesn’t apply to everyone, but a huge part of the BL audience are fujoshi fan girls who probably would not react the same way to a man and woman making out in a drama. In other words, it’s fetishized by some viewers because it’s treated/perceived differently than straight romance. The mere fact that it’s gay doesn’t make it fetishized. (Not to mention BL and yaoi is largely written by women for women, so there’s not really accurate LGBT representation, although kudos to the Philippines because it seems like the creators are actually members of the community).
I also think that OP was using this as an example of how many viewers will criticize a BL show and rate it poorly, but the moment the two actors get it on, all of a sudden it’s “uwu so hot OTP I give this a 10!” showing that they’re really only in it for the hot gay makeouts. Just my two cents and additional theorizing though, I don’t want to put words on their mouth.
To see people praising this drama cause of ONE steamy scene, ignoring the whole mess, just points out who is here…
I tend to agree. Not saying this is true for everyone, but it does seem like it was largely criticized and poorly-rated up until the infamous kiss scene, and now the rating jumped and people are speaking more favorably about it. I noticed this for other BLs too (Still 2Gether comes to mind....).
Ahh was that scene not in the novel? I was curious about that.
Interesting! Just further shows that some BL writers don’t know how to add drama unless it’s infidelity or rape added solely for the sake of drama. Thank you for sharing!

Exactly!!! It makes no sense within the context of this drama. And I know that sexual assaults happen across college campuses all the time—usually date rapes—but most are committed by men and in a party/bar/hookup setting, not through some elaborate setup that this girl seems to have created. The way it’s put here, I don’t know, it just seems like the writer is treating this like it’s some normal, common occurrence. Arghhh it’s just so frustrating because this feels like an unnecessary step back rather than an appropriate or meaningful contribution to the story.
One of the few BLs where I don’t skip the opening theme. The OST, as the kids these days say, slaps.
Ok, the end of episode 3....I’m sorry, I cannot take that seriously. Come on, how ridiculous are we going to get? Gonna require a huge suspension of disbelief. Shock value anyone? This came completely out of left field and for what? To further the writer’s characterization of females in BLs as toxic and evil. To create forced, manufactured drama. Give me a break. *eye roll*
