Moon Chae Won's acting is superb and she can pull off any roles. For those peeps who said that Chae Won's acting…
I understand your frustration, but criticisms are good for improvement, still one should do it respectfully. But like you said, she's doing great here and I've been waiting for her to take projects with this kind of genre, melodrama suits her well and she nailed episode 5 and 6!!

I actually liked her scenes, I love seeing her getting agitated. The one who portrays her is a such a great actress~
You are right that's her character haha, she's actually a little bit scary on the first ep, but I do think she cares about Hyun Soo.

And, I think it's just me who likes her, I just think she just acts so great with all the trembling and facial expression xD

"trust"not even minutes and there she was, already checking blood on the floor, also she still thinks he killed…
Okay, that's your own perception about the scenes of the drama, I respect that. But no, I don'tlike smooth sailing scenarios for the female lead, in fact, I want her heart to break even more same with the male lead, because that's how you make a melodrama. Both are great in their roles and I want to see more complexity in their characters. I want this drama to keep the suspense, the melo and angst between the couple, but in the end of course, I want them to heal together.

What other dramas of her you've watched?I think she's a great actress, I've watched The Innocent Man, Good Doctor,…
I don't know if her character will be the same like The Innocent Man, but I don't think so. So far, I liked how her character is going here and how she's investigating everything before she lashes out everything on his husband.

I don't know but maybe it is because I'm an emotional person that's why I liked this movie so much. I even cried at the end. This is beautiful masterpiece especially to the ones who are fighting in silence. Cheers to us all!

I've watched it twice, first I've watched it alone and then the second I've watched it with my father! It was one of the most beautiful movie ever! I seriously loved it especially that ending, and most of all, the interview of the girl who kept running and running! This drama made my emotions come alive, I believe this is a masterpiece, well at least for me! ! !

No offense but I hate Moon Chae Won acting. This is my 3rd time watching her in a drama and still her acting dosen't…
What other dramas of her you've watched?

I think she's a great actress, I've watched The Innocent Man, Good Doctor, Awaiting (short film -- I loved this a lot), Love Forecast (movie, she acted great for her role, but I really did not like this movie), Mood of the Day (this is better than her previous movie), Feng Shui and Mama Fairy (I was not drawn in her character here and I think she's too sweet here, but I still loved the drama). I still haven't seen Criminal Minds, Goodbye Mr. Black and The Princess' man (many loved this drama, btw).

Even with some drawbacks in her acting career in the past, I know she's a great actress based on the other dramas and movies I've watched where her emotions were more explored (e.g. The Innocent Man, Awaiting) and when she proved she can be versatile (like when she tried romcom movies apart from her serious melodramas, although I did not like Love Forecast at all, her acting seemed very natural for her). So, yeah, I don't think she's overreacting on this one, to be honest, her character actually shined on me in episode 5 and 6 compare in the previous episodes where her character is somehow stiff and professional when doing her job. In my own opinion, she does well in melodramas other than crime. But of course, we all have different tastes and opinions^^

I think the credits should go to all people who worked hard on the drama^^

Dude first of all, she was so obsessed w him when they were younger. I mean the guy is not willing to be w you…
First, you might want to edit your comment and put a spoiler tag, others might be spoiled.

Just like what Ji Won said in the opening of the beginning of episode 5, he's the first one that showed an interest on her.

And you know, sometimes love doesn't make sense, trying to get a logical explanation or putting logic on how do people end up together, is dumber.

The female lead she surprised me.
Lee Joon Gi shined in episode 1 to 4, but Moon Chae Won's character shined in ep 5 and 6! ! Loved every time she confronts her true feelings.

I guess you are a type of viewer who really wants a smooth sailing scenarios for the male lead. Well, this drama is not like that. She investigated him because she's confused, she's suspecting and she wanted to prove herself wrong. She wanted to believe that her husband is not a bad person because she knew that she is not, but still she's confused because she doesn't know much about her husband. Imagine you are married for a man for 14 years and you still don't know much about him, others would have chosen divorce. So yeah, after investigating the basement, she found traces of blood, nevertheless, even tho she did see it, she did not jump into a conclusion, she did not went to the hospital, she did not kick him out of their loves and she trusted him enough to let him fend their daughter from the school.

Remember the hospital scene? She could've confronted him with the truth, slapped him and all, but she did not! She just vented how worried and anger she felt while he was in a coma.

Dramas are like this, if she did not search for a blood in the basement there will be no drama and it would've ended right in the episode 6.

With many dramas showing divorce as the best choice when everything gets problematic, Cha Ji Won is staying with his husband even if she already knew that horrible truth, she did not even lash out her anger on him because of what she knew! Others would have lost it. She's a good person, good job Hyun Soo for picking a good partner in life! ! ! xD

Today's episode perfectly showed how great Cha Ji Won's detective skills and how loyal and a good wife she is. Her not abandoning her husband even tho she's hearing hear sayings about him is commendable. Hyun Soo is right when he said that Ji Won only believes what she sees! Good job girl!

I would also like to applaud Moon Chae Won for playing Cha Ji Won, I loved her scenes whenever she snapped and vent all her unseen emotions, especially her conversation with her husband in the hospital. Hee Sung was extremely shocked on that scene, because, she's very unusual from her normal reactions. Chae Won's character is doing great and my heart aches for her but at the same time, proud, that at her best, she's still trusting what she sees of him.

While, episode 1 to 4 is for Lee Joon Gi. I think episode 5 and 6 is for Moon Chae Won. Great choice of leads ! ! !

Yes? Hahaha. He said, "Jebal, ka"
In english, "please, go"

Maybe this is because I've been watching many kdramas (though, not that many as others) ?

I might add these things too since I've finally watched it with subs:

Her telling him that she will treat him better after he said terrible things to himself
The culprit begging him to say where the corpse of his wife was
The rookie detective pointing out a gun towards the culprit but unable to shoot him

not gonna lie, I was actually hoping the male lead to be an actual murderer cuz that would be so fun, but I guess…
I agree with you, I would like that. But after watching episode 5, I don't think I care if he's a murderer or not. This drama is even better than I've expected and what I've thought it will be...and, today's ep is so beautiful.

what was special about today ep?
The montage at the ending, I loved it so much.
Him telling his father to go away, although it's all in his mind. I'm proud of him.
His lines when Ji Won was crying for him.
The cinematography, it was breathtaking, even the creepiness of the criminal was beautifully shot.

I don't care if he's a killer or not by this time. It truly ain't matter. When I said that I wanted him to at least have killed or something out of spur or anger, I thought that would be a good good story, but I think this one is even better. That writer knows how to write a good story and every time her characters snap, I loved it. The directing is on the spot. And to whoever hired Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won to their roles, good good decision. The cinematography for this episode is the best so whoever did the camera thing, you are great.

Everything about episode 5 was so breathtaking and tragic. I loved it. I cried my eyes out at that ending, I became emotional even after it ended. I loved how this drama can make me feel those kind of emotions, it was such a nice feeling. Btw, I watched it in raw, without subs, I didn't understand everything they said, but I understood its flow and the emotions of the actors spoke to me.

To those who are contemplating whether to watch it or not and are still waiting for the ending before watching it, I can sense that the ending will be beautiful, tragic or not.
