Most likely to find your roots and where you came from
Joining to the discussion — I think people who grew up still do it because they feel something is missing with their life, and second because child birth is a serious matter. You can't have your child adopted without having a feeling that someday it will not come back to find you — it's just such large and complicated matter.
If people who put their to adoption, I guess they should leave a note giving a reason for adoption or something that at least will give closure to the person.
Also most of the time they were put to adoption because of hardship / pressure, so I guess it's not a bad thing that they still get reunited years later.
I don't think it is selfish of the kids to search for their original parents years later.
Why is Yeon Woo Jin is so cute and hot here. I wasn’t quite impressed by him in either Thirty Nine or Daily…
You should also watch him in Marriage, Not Dating tho his character is the classic jackass fro the start (but to be fair, he was hilarious from time to time on that role and the writing was actually good — so I think you might like it!)
Hmmm...I kinda enjoyed this episode, but I'll be keeping my opinion regards the another *dark* subplot until episode…
Yeong-bok and her husband tho was indeed main highlight and I truly truly feel bad for the both of them. The scene that night when she was waiting for his husband to come home, then him taking care of their children to saying sorry to her and saying he only wanted to be a good husband broke my heart. Sigh, the show doesn't need to be dark pls.
Hmmm...I kinda enjoyed this episode, but I'll be keeping my opinion regards the another *dark* subplot until episode…
I also felt a bit sad for Geum Hui...her decision not to have children is not bad, but sometimes time gives you a different perspective on things and you start to long for something / and regret some decisions you did.
Hmmm...I kinda enjoyed this episode, but I'll be keeping my opinion regards the another *dark* subplot until episode 9.
Anyway, I really enjoyed Do-hyeon and Jeong-suk's teamwork this episode — also, Do-hyeon is just so good with words. On the other hand, Jeong-suk is so goal-driven and detail-oriented whether in her work or this case, I adore her.
I had a small giggle while watching Do-hyeon checking out himself LOL after Jeong-suk described his features.
I love the friendship of our best ladies and I hope things will not become dark. The friendship and real life issues are already enough for me.
i'm glad that jeong-suk is finally breaking the generational curse with cheating husbands -- not only her husband didn't properly apologize to her after coming back home, but he also had the guts to continue living with in his friend's house. he was so unashamed. everything needs to be about him.
if he really loved his son, he wouldn't take cheating lightly and having sex with another woman (who's also your wife's bestfriend and your friend's wife).
i hope minho will understand her mother's decision :')
ugh netfllix is very slow of uploading new episodes :( i just hope that this can be aired the same time in korea... :( it's also very late in my country
Enjoyed episode 1 and I really loved the background setting! I'm just a lover of community + province settings so I'm totally loving it! I also just love sisterhood in kdramas, so I'm definitely sticking to it. I'm also seeing women empowerment motif, so I hope this continues to be good! :)
I'll admit that I'm more of a prude when it comes to topics of sex compared to other viewers here, but that doesn't mean I judge other people as below my values or not. I do try to have an open mind. So far, I really like the show, and I hope it'd continue show women's struggles and how they free themselves.
I love this drama but the tags here are misleading — this is a human drama more like melo and slice of life, and the backdrop is just fantasy — so if you're expecting for a big fantasy plot to watch, you should skip this. This is also not romcom, despite centering the journey on our two ccharacters with good romance. Comedy tag should be at the very least remove.
This is a story mostly about two depressed characters who wanted to die / stop existing (the other one being doom himself), accepted their fate, letting go, wanting to live, to love and be loved. It's also a story about families and friendships. I hope this helps other people who wants to watch this show. The messages are also very subtle, and there's a lot of push and pull of emotions especially on the middle, so if you do not enjoy such subtletly, you might not enjoy this.
