Just wanted to know hehe, so there's no murder or crime thing here? Most dramas these days have serial killer and I really don't like to see them in romcoms.
Honest Advice Needed: I put this drama on hold at Ep 8 (after the FL's reason is revealed)It was going so well…
If you enjoy slice of life or dramas with mini stories — this is probably your drama then. I like the stories sometimes, but there were few lines were I think they're corny (maybe it's me, the sub or the writing tries to be preachy). This drama has some breezy feel to it, so you can watch it at your own pace. Personally for me, my main issue with this is it feels episodic or anthology; there were stories after stories, and maybe it's me but I think I wanted something more coherent in overall plot this time.
For the emotional payoff, some resolutons were good. Though, the use of illness as a plot device so everything gets resolved quickly though always nothing serious at the moment is popularly used.
Tbh, I think...people are giving the writing too much credit. Yeah, sure Seok-ryu has this personality of not…
I think some comments were trying to stay true to the story/writing given to us, but realistically -- I think it's very hard not to tell it to anyone even if there's a 12 hour difference.
the fl ilness arc is such a plot hole , like do people not facetime there parents or like the guadrian signature…
Tbh, I think...people are giving the writing too much credit. Yeah, sure Seok-ryu has this personality of not wanting to be a burden, but I think realistically she'd just breakdown at the height of her treatment and tell her parents about it. Just think of it as a convenient plot device to keep the show moving forward. But if we are being realistic here, even the boyfriend would just spill the beans to the parents or convince her to talk about it to her parents.
As for the facetime, some people face time their parents when away (some people is me LOL).
Genuinely, just delete/forget the entire middle part and watch the first 7 episodes and the last 2 episodes. YEP
This is a character driven story and also slow burn. You might not enjoyed its bits and how the writing was so concerned with showing their developments, but I personally loved it and help me destress my day and comforted me a lot when I was in a very dark place. No need to be sarcastic, because you didn't enjoy a show.
From the beginning of this series, I have been fast-forwarding the 2nd lead couple storyline. Am I missing anything…
Nope. They both have different story lines; though their story gets to tied up on the main lessons of the show by the end. I personally enjoyed them, but it's okay if you don't :D
my biggest ick with this show is how the characters seem to meet eachother by coincidence every single time ,…
Seok-ryu's ex was indeed integral to the story, but Seung-ho's ex just kept on popping like a convenient plot device without that much backstory or current relations with Seung-ho. No hate to the actress, she's amazing — it's just that the writing wasn't strong enough.
Also yes yes the ending of episode 9 @Tom, like why did the mother kept overhearing things. Hays.
