What's up with the hate towards Hyeri? She's not even an idol anymore
Exactly what I was thinking. She's been an active actress for longer than she was active as an idol. And it's not like being an idol makes someone bad at acting. It's okay to not like her acting, but no need to hate on her.
I really liked season 1, but I'm scared to watch this. My First First Love Season 2 totally ruined it for me, and the fact that it's been 2 years... I really want to like this, please let me like this...

It's very cute and very funny, with lots of character growth, friendship, and positive messages about self-confidence. It does deal with bullying and mental health issues but it's not a "heavy" drama.
There is another male character who has a crush on the female lead. However, he never makes a move on her because of his friendship with the male lead and because she is clearly not interested. Not sure wether you consider that to be a triangle or not.
It's not from Netflix, Netflix just has international distribution rights. It's from jTBC and I believe it was produced by Showbox and jTBC Studios. The only Netflix original dramas so far are My First First Love, Love Alarm, Persona, Extracurricular, The School Nurse Files, Kingdom and Sweet Home. The other dramas that have "Netflix" on original network is just in terms of distribution.
Let's say the characters get the ending they choose for themselves, but not the ending the other characters or the viewers might have chosen for them. It's not sad. Some of them get a happy ending and some get an ending that shows character growth and hope for the future, which to me is also happy in a way. It's also a bit open-ended. As for romance, there is none. The fl likes the ml and it's implied he likes her back, but nothing happens between them and they don't get together. The romance is never the focus though so I don't take that into account towards the "happy/sad" ending.

This being my favorite drama I'm really sad and disappointed as well that it didn't get its full 16 episodes. However, they didn't ignore the audience, they cut the drama short BECAUSE of them. This was getting the lowest viewership ratings on tvN in 2 years. It's sad that people weren't interested in this and that they made the decision to shorten it because of it, but they are a company and their goal it's to make a profit and please their viewers, so it makes sense from a business viewpoint. It's exactly like you said. Because they are a tv-channel they can't ignore the audience and experiment with dramas that aren't getting the numbers. I truly hope everyone who worked on this is proud because it's definitely an underrated masterpiece that got an unfair deal because of poor ratings. Side note, Netflix is not to credit for anything, neither of his previous two dramas are Netflix originals, they are just streamed internationally there.

I believe that's cause a lot of people consider Sam Dong the second lead and not Jin Gook. Maybe? Jin Gook get's more screen time and focus, the story is more about him than Sam Dong. How the ending turns out though, I guess it makes it debatable to viewers on who's the lead. That's my perspective at least. I considered Sam Dong the second male lead.

Not sure, but they announced the cast in August and the script reading was two months ago. It's airing in two weeks, so I don't think there'll be delays. I meant that the dates for Snowdrop will probably be updated because here it says it starts on May 28, but Undercover is on the same time slot and ends on July 5th.
