Seems like a good show for Liang Jie fans. Not sure why there is so much hateful comment but I find it very entertaining. Enjoying the initial episodes but like all cdrama, it prob gets sorta dumb/draggy after the couple gets together.

If you don't like it at ep 10, you are not gonna like it at ep 20.
IMO the first 1/3 - 2/3 of a show is usually the best, it usually just gets worst or draggy after that. I found the show entertaining but now I am kinda stuck at ep 23 with not a huge motivation to finish it

I think the ML liked the "host" to some degree in the beginning of the show but that faded after he met the FL.

Forever Love is really good if you are okay with the the high school/college romance drama. Diffrent genre but The Long Ballad was a good 2021 show too

Unless you are okay with oldskool asian drama, the 2017 version is prob more digestible for a millennial. Though if you can appreciate watching old shows, imp the original 80s trilogy is prob the best Chinese drama made.

Evernight 2 was a lot more watchable since i think there was a whole lot less filler junk but the fans hated it because Dylan replaced Arthour. For the first one, you had to skip around ep 8 to ep 3x to get to the story lol.

Just started this... so FL's uncle killed her family, yet somehow still seems like a good person?
FL father planned to killed the Uncle, the FL mother warned the uncle and the uncle took action first. Hard to judge the uncle harshely based on that.
