okay, fetishizer.
uhhhhhhhhhhh no? i love sex because it's amazing, not because i find every person to be available or "dehumanizing people a little bit for sexual pleasure is perfectly fine" because no, it is not not that i found the OG comment to be particularly correct when they said "fetishizer" but your response was also...not it. also the actors are doing their job so there's no complete umbrella of consent there either—nor does there need to be—and sex negativity or positivity is not being sexually /honest/ which is what we need. but hennyways

I have a question is Best Can's slow friend in Love by chance? I can't recall him? I might have to re-watch Love…

Did you not watch the party scene with all the guests?
yea you could still tell it was filmed then. i'm guessing if they are still filming there's gonna be more of that cos rn asia is having trouble. we'll see!

Truthfully, for me, I don't care much for seeing characters smoke. It's not enough to turn me away from watching…
they have been blurring cigarettes in asia on tv since the dawn of time, relax

it's ok that u feel this way and it's normal to do so; a lot of art isnt seperated from the artist but regardless…
uhhhhhhh so you dont understand what i mean. anyway good luck to you

Just hold on a bit and you won't regret it. At first, I watched this drama to kill time cause like you, I wasn't…
tbh idt he was anything but a mild annoyance some stuff was like OTT but yea lol it was mostly just insanely ridic shit that he actually was going out of his way to make his own life more difficult while doing it. like nothing was so bad and frankly i'd go tit for tat too (in this hypothetic universe) if my ass couldnt graduate (even if it was my fault, a whole-ass group? absolutely not!!!)
On Semantic Error Mar 13, 2022
it was alright. not super great but not bad. i really wish they had put more audio in for the atmosphere though that really bugged me. obviously low budget + filmed in a circuit breaker time (and who knows when the next outbreak will be sigh..) but i'd watch park seo ham fall in love with any of the people in the drama. the part with jihye in ep 7 rly had me realizing how cute they are. i read the webtoon but stopped because it got egregious and gross (IYKYK) so in that regard this is leagues ahead

park jae chan reminds me of im siwan in the way that he's very small and in a boy band but also acting. hopefully he continues to do it (if he wants) and gets better! but for now here is fine lol

also tbqh this whole thing was STRESSFUL tho cos i could never forgive someone who helped me not graduate. my feelings are still hurt. college is prison lmao i just cannot imagine doing that to a fellow student bc school sucks that much but im....a delinquent sooooo. anywaho it was cute!

also yuna...every bisexual girl with a nose ring is yuna and we are her

i'd take more episodes of the friend group too. it had a very nice aura to it so it wasn't anything special but it was nice enough to look at and that's good enough in times like these

isnt this show about cults? how do you think that propagates? i'm not even saying either/or and this kind of stuff isn't new and i know nothing of this scandal. i was just replying because it made people upset or to say things like "so what?" when, no, it's a valid thing to bring up. if it wasn't then it wouldn't be a problem. we don't care about the integrity in this case, we're just inconvenienced and upset something uncomfortable was brought up. maybe we should check that reaction first because the way i see it, our comfort over being able to watch something while not being reminded of someone who made the work's very real mistakes, mistakes that affect those most marginalized which is part of what this work talks about, is about the most mindless and privileged one we could have so ifail to see how these responses become acceptable when we should be critical. the things that make people the most upset in these comments are always about their pleasure being interfered with but not the actual reality of what is being said if this is the reaction one gets when they bring it up then what the fuck does that say about us? why are we so mad about it? we could just have said we understood and moved on but we didnt we had to pseudo-defend it. idgi

yeah it sucks :( but give it a try because of the hard work the actors have done and if u feel uncomfortable than…
id nt believe in jail so no. but i also dont believe in using excuses. plus thats not the only or even primary or tertiary reason why people are giving it low reviews

I drop it before last 2 episodes . I have no idea who gave this drama all 10. directing was so normal if I don't…
yea that's part of the issue i think where the numbers can also mean that you wholesale like every aspect of the project. the problem is that because numbers are so important on here (to a majority i should say though i disagree to an extent—i understand wanting an honest rating but if it's solely to attract viewers and having confirmation that a project is good/bad than that's out of our hands) they'll be inclined to not clarify that a positive review doesn't mean uncritical or maybe they'll "round up"—if i like a show but think it isn't well done i'll be honest about that rating. i also don't give things 10s (it's a personal thing!.) the whole idea tho is that people have to see it and if they see a bad rating theyll automatically write it off and that's the only reason why someone wouldn't be interested in a show. which, fine, but also that's not how it works and trust in the fellow viewers/audience more. but since the worry is that the rating effects somehow even the mere existence of a show, and are an insult and slap in the face to those working on it, people are less likely to be honest when the show comes out in the reviews and comments and any dissent is mostly seen as fringe (then u can see ppl saying that their popular opinions are unpopular)

there's nothing that can be done and it's all very human anyway but it's a very annoying major trend and i think it is worse in these fandoms. like people identify so closely with the work that to deviate would topple their whole world view and structure. the suggestion that something may not "deserve" this high of a rating is akin to mentioning murdering someone i swear or even slight ratings changes. so is what's important the show and why it is liked or convincing people that what we (as a viewer) think is completely right at all times and people that question it are wrong. i mean even statistically these types of numbers are impossible, it's very much not about the work itself and a trillion other factors (fandom, aggressively trying to spread a certain word of mouth, being able to build a community in the comments sections as it airs—which comes with some really annoying caveats like never being allowed to question or disagree with the methods of storytelling) and that's a bummer.
On A First Love Story Mar 11, 2022
i hope they can get the money they need one day to make more of what they want to make. it's a fucking shame because even in comparison to the mainstream "bl" content (unlike strongberry who focuses on all of the umbrella) you can tell it's from a crew who is being thoughtful about the visual choices made—they are films, or shorts, or miniseries with way less backing but with a lot of experience. i'm surprised because this is filmed during a pandemic with way less money but even in terms of sound/atmosphere it blows away other things we've seen (for ex semantic error; it is so sonically flat that it actually pisses me off where as you can HEAR the atmosphere of the room and it's with the boys and while it still would have to be fixed a little one producction has way more money—a decision artistically~*~* was made) i could go on and on but i'll cap it. this is sweet and i hope they can see more interest from all people interested in seeing new things—it's the very human experiences we get to be privvy to that encompass and transcend our identities so we can choose to be the type of people we want to know and see in the world. leme stop before a rant about capitalism comes. anyway, with less money you become more deliberate and more caring about not just churning out content.

theyre TOO adorable idk how old they are esp min gyu but he looks like someone's younger brother (mine. i mean i dont have one but if i did!!!!)

Review Taxi Driver
the Prosecutor joins the squad and one of the Taxi Rainbow Team joins the police + the way they left all the case…
the worst :/ the reason i liked 'bad detective' is cos it said what no other cop show has been so overt abt in kdrama: we suck we just wear the name of the police

it is just unfortunate when these shows potentially fall into the trap of trying to redeem the absolutely irredeemable. unless they want her there for sabotage!

Title Beyond Evil
While I think this drama was really good I did feel the second half, when it changed focus from the serial murder…
i think that's part of the confusion where it's like did ANY of them care for each other??? they kept mentioning how the village was like so tightknit and shit but it wa sbizarre. idk
