gonna rewatch soon but i did like this episode. towards the end i wondered why it went the way it did and if it was filler but even with that in mind it was decent. it seems like they made it in a rush tho idk if that was the case. before the monopoly scene (which was well done but another ?what’s going on?) the scene w that dude and rose etc seemed so fucking weird (this happened before in the first episode when the driver asked if rose was ok??? Like use yr words????) and then weird cuts with that bc no one is speaking!
in terms of stuff about class and capitalism this was overt (monopoly) and covert (marriage that neither of them wants + man and a woman (to signal heterosexuality) = $$$$$$) and maybe they’ll get over the whole dont steal thing lol. idk this ep was weird but not terrible just like…what was the purpose of making this episode 7, like that, and why did it feel like filler even tho it’s all important and well made/done? it’s weird bc on one hand i agree with all the criticisms for the most part but on the other i disagree that this is like any other typical bl lol and atp idek if it could be classified as that so cut and dry. like the show doesn’t suck at all and this wasn’t a bad episode—some hits and misses—and they still meet expectations or excel at what i enjoy. clearly there is a more than adequate team. I don’t want to wait until next week 😭

ok i really hope next week is better and this was a mistake bc even the weakest ep (ep 4) b4 this one still felt stronger. I’m fully in it now ugh
