my problem wasn't the length it was the utilization of the amount of time they have. i love having all that time to watch it if i enjoy it.

do you know what a critique is? that's what i'm doing and nicely/constructively may i add. for a show that i enjoy and i can brainstorm other possibilities that i think would be valuable. and i do and say what i want :)

rewatching ep 4 out of a haze; think the show would benefit from:
- shorter episodes though idk if this is cos it's the uncut vers? if uncut i don't mind. it's basically the director's cut lol. if this is the normal one then you gotta chop stuff man
- higher stakes! better placed comedic timing. letting the actors who aren't as strong breathe in between their lines and motivations. it seems like because of the comedy + acting they can't get in the right headspace. literally why would tattoo and hoy be afraid? for what? lol. this does not mean i don't like the comedic aspects but it has to be thought out, well timed, and played with more confidence for it to /be/ funny ie joke w/ the assistant in ep 3

i think the reason some have mixed feelings on ep 4 (at least for me) is just how central jack was to the episode and how disjointed the kidnapping was in contrast. which makes it feel like we're wasting time. really could have been literally anything else other than those scenes (that girl's family life and jack! save and jack!). i want more crime and fighting rich people and more violence lmao show us what they're fighting for!

still i think this hits for me because it's better than most stuff. in terms of acting and production. i can ignore all the weaknesses because i'm impressed that this feels like a legitimate television show which i rarely connect on in this genre. i feel myself taking it more seriously so i can notice the flaws and want it to improve

edit: do you people know what a critique is and that i don't have to agree with everything a television show made for an audience does? can you fucking read? i said i liked it (not that that matters). get a grip.

thought u left out tattoo i was like um absolutely not. there's sth abt him and i want to see more of him. i think it's cos he isn't necessarily cast for his face (GOOD bc they should cast for talent. also he is a good looking dude but ykwim!) i was so surprised at that little girl. still the acting isn't so horrendous that it's like genuinely bringing me down but that's why the comedic timing can't hit well either i think.
