personally i dont see how this is a 8.9, i mean uts good but not THAT good,, i also find myself fast forwarding…
That means people who like shows like this are appreciating and enjoying Me and Thee.
If you're not liking the show, but the score is high and comment session have so many praises, maybe it's actually good but not enough for your taste. Do you question every single drama score like this? People have different tastes, you know? You gave score 7 to a k-drama that it's an easy 10 in my book hahahaha
Once the show is over I think more people will score and maybe the final note will be lower. Don't worry much. Foccus on your experience, if it's too bad for you, drop it or score it low. That's the beauty of this website.
It's great If you enjoy comedy, some cheesy and dramatic lines and growth of a relationship to romance.
I think I can say the comedy tone here is not the same as university BL, if you know what I mean. If you check the reccomendation list here in MDL you'll see there is not a lot of shows other than PPW past works, that's because Me and Thee is very unique! You should try the first episodes to see if it's your cup of tea or not.
The show got lots of lakorn references that we are catching up weekly with with the help of people, locals are loving it because of that. Buuuuut foreigners can also appreciate the show even without knowing the references, because characters like Peach and Mok always react funnily to Thee's dramatic lines.
Well, Tawan and Aran were not officially dating at the start of the drama, they were a fling, and even tho Aran…
Yes, I think not in the novel or in the drama there is a endgame way for this couple unless Tawan get in line and works on himself first.
As for the casting, I think you should consider two things: 1) In 2024 PerthSanta were a new pair, people in GMMTV of course knew they could/would be their next big thing, but it was a bet. 2) Reading the novel, they look exactly like the characters! There is no one in GMMTV that could portray an androginous look like Santa can, I think it was a great choice casting wise! Even if the couple seems conflictuous, toxic and messy, I think because it's PS, it's powerful! We know how sweet they always are to each other, so everyone is praising their acting and professionalism in scene! It can be a smaller role, but it was powerful because of them.
I think Me and Thee having PPW, PS and WE is a huge visionary cast, because WE was also a new pairing in 2024!
I'm new to the BL scene and ever since I realized we would have the 3 couples together, I think about the power potential this series have. And it's true! It will be remembered for a long time!
I don't understand what's going on with Tawan and Aran. Can someone tell me their story and why they broke up?
Well, Tawan and Aran were not officially dating at the start of the drama, they were a fling, and even tho Aran really likes him, he discovered Tawan can be violent against people because of jealousy, so, when he was acting like that with Peach in the first episodes, Aran decided to break things off (since Peach is his friend and work buddy)
Meanwhile, they still meet because of work, but Aran is trying to keep his distance and their relationship profissional, Tawan doesn't like that and want him back, but Aran is still confused because he knows how violent he can be.
It's exactly like that in the novel as well, but last time Tawan appeared in the show, the fact he was watching Peach and Aran talking without a mad reaction made me wonder if maybe that would lean his story to him not stressing about Peach anymore... but see what happened now?
Tawan decided the only way for Aran to talk to him again would be working together, so, he made efforts to get closer to Aran for an ad photoshoot, only to get jealous of Peach again and beat him down again!
So, even tho Aran still likes him (even love him) and in his heart, he wants to be his boyfriend, he doesn't want a violent boyfriend that won't trust him. What happened in episode 8 was a realization.
[NOVEL SPOILER AHEAD]
For the next episodes, according to the novel, Thee will move action against Tawan and his family and Tawan will be miserable, with a ruined career. But his family will blame everything on Aran - they are against their relationship, and Aran will think that treatment is unfair and apologize to Mr.Thee in Tawan's name (and because his family convinced him to do it)
Even if that happens in the drama as well, I don't feel like there is room for TawanAran endgame without Tawan becoming better at controlling his jealousy, everything can happen because Aran likes him, but I think Aran is strong enough to only give him another chance If he really owns his trust again.
Tbh, this is probably my least favorite episode. Don't get me wrong, I love the interaction between Thee, Peach…
About the drama arc happening at the last episodes, isn't this quite common in dramas? My only complain at this point is that the show isn't 12 episodes long, because I would love to have more Me and Thee.

They botched that scene because everything that happened after it in the novel, already happened during wivit's case in the show; and I'm glad they antecipated everything or we would get theepeach's first kiss on episode 9 and barely no dating scenes, because that's how slow the novel is about their relationship. I like how things happen in the novel too and I know that scene is pivotal for their feelings, but I think we should give the show narrative a chance because everything works just fine like this too, still makes sense and gives the audience a lot more romance moments.
guys on Twitter, I read for the next episode, Mok will get shot, so is it true that those who have read the novel,…
nothing happens with mok in the novel.
i think people are just guessing/wondering if what mok said in the talk with thee is to foresee that he is actually taking a bullet to protect him and peach.
I`m sorry but I dont see Tawan redeeming himself with Ran.. Like how toxic/jelly are you babe? It's strange seeing…
hopefully they don't redeem him!
i thought the show would ease their plot a little when the show hinted how in love aran is, but it got super intense in ep8! there is no room for a redemption arc anymore
ya'll an 8.9 is wild for a BL. i'm watching ep 2 and not super into it yet. when does it get good?!
If you didn't like in the first episodes, I think it's not your cup of tea. Try until episode 4, I guess that's the soul of the drama, because it's as far from the novel storytelling as possible, everything that happens in ep4 is what the screenwriter and director want to add to the story. Anyways, don't feel pressured to keep watching If you don't like silly rom coms, because that's what it is, a feel good drama.
Watching the first and the second of episode... I'm so confused... what is the conflict in this story?
it's the story of a mafia raised guy who is used to people getting closer to take advantage of him AND the guy who gets closer to him without any mean intention and how they will get deep in each other's world because they want each other in their lives
idk exactly what you want the conflict to be in between them, but they are from different worlds, they are forbidden to fall in love somehow, peach is not realizing thee's feelings are for him because he feels like he is just an ordinary guy, thee is a dramatic mess and everything is new for both of them. if you're into rom coms, you'll enjoy the show :) it's not like me and thee don't get deep, because there are worthy deep scenes too, but this show is mostly to have fun with. if that's not your style, then, better to drop it now.
take into consideration the kind of comedy it is, since because thee learned about life with lakorns, a lot of his attitudes, lines and speeches give nostalgic vibes and are repeated from famous lakorns, and that resonate with locals

X is the director of JuniorMark's next drama Twenty One that will be released in 2026/2027. I can't wait for it, the pilot trailer was fire!
