Glad you finally got to the conclusion that not liking Me and Thee is mostly a you problem ! Hope you find a next…
I saw how you started this conversation last week, you've been here camping for a while now. I think you evolved your thinking to understand that some people will enjoy this show but you didn't.
Does anyone know if this is a hit in Thailand too for GMMTV?
I think we can say so! Locals are loving the lakorn references and even some kpop artists doing concert in Bangkok were reciting Khun Thee lines for their audience. I also remember Pond saying that people are stopping and calling him Khun Thee on streets 🥹
Now that it's close to the ending, I see that everybody has so many nice things to say about Me and Thee and are already missing it deeply. It really got our hearts, right? No one will ever convince me that this show was a hit only because of fandom hype.
I thank everyone who made this show so especial for us.
Following the cast and crew so close in social media, we also know it was a pleasure for them to work in this project. There was so much thinking in between the lines, love to the original story and fun in the backstage, I'm glad their efforts are being recognized by people.
Only thing I really want to say is I didn't like how Jinn forgave his dad that fast, for a father leaving his…
I feel like they use the "forgive your toxic parents" trope a lot in dramas and I also dislike it very much, there is always too much pressure for people to forgive.
For H2H, I think because Jay was bringing Jinn's father along to the picture because of the visions, that made him question inside. Also, we know Jinn is expert in faking rage feelings when in reality, he is just a vulnerable person. Maybe he always wanted his dad to be there for him again and be loved by him, we never know.
Maybe once Jinn knew the consequences of getting mad at their parents getting back together, he could let go of his rage for dad. His mom is more important after all.
Both! HAHAHA it's a feel good show, and pretty unique and different from shows we get usually, so, people are…
It's a dramatic comedy, very silly most of the time, but it gets deep sometimes when they need to discuss heavy topics, it's always back to comedy really fast anyways. I hope you like it.
As I see, people think their relationship arc was rushed in the end and didn't forgive Van or gave him the same…
They are both at such a lonely stage of life, and so young! We take a while to get that. I think it's easy to understand why they would fight for their relationship to work and be frustrated that the other half wasn't at the same page yet. I'm glad they showed the bottom point for both characters and that their reasons were so out of love, in the middle of all that they were rescued by their friend group, who never leave any of them behind. I think it's pretty and precious.
As I see, people think their relationship arc was rushed in the end and didn't forgive Van or gave him the same chance as Farm did.
I personally think the script did a good job portraying all the mixed feelings and explaining each of their sides, I think it gets easier to understand their reasons and the way they acted as we are learning about their backstory.
I think around episode 4, I told a friend of mine that I would enjoy this drama a lot more if I was in a binge watch and not waiting for a new episode weekly.
It's not because I wasn't liking it, but because watching weekly I saw people exchanging a lot of negativity about a very simple story and putting too many expectations. Avoiding fandom talk would be the best way to watch this, alone with my own thoughts.
Of course, I know the schedule for this was messy, but in the end I think H2H was good enough, I had much fun watching the show, it's soft and everything just flows. Watching weekly on the other hand was great because I grew closer with those actors, characters and I wished everybody well in the end.
I'll be here waiting for Seakeen and Surfjava next works anxiously, they are great together. Still don't know if I want JJ to have a fixed partner or if I want him to be the designated loner best friend forever, much love for him as well ♥
Also, does anyone know why gmmtv tend to have only 10 episode? There are definitely plot hole that could have…
I noticed that dramas with 12 nowadays have shorter episodes. Maybe they decide that after choosing the slot and placing the scenes together, according to the rythm of the show, etc.
Is it rated that much cuz it’s good or because of the fan girls???
Both! HAHAHA it's a feel good show, and pretty unique and different from shows we get usually, so, people are genuinely enjoying and having a good time watching, feeling close to the characters and waiting everything to end up fine with them.
