As if his experience as a volunteer army is not enough to wake him up from blindly following the King. 🤧
He explained it pretty well tho. He knew but he has enjoyed being a noble all his life. He was taught all these values and he simply cannot enjoy the privilege and not gives what he supposed to, he knew he will die very soon and fast but he would rather die doing what he believes in his whole life. Otherwise his world will collapse. There’s no meaning of life even if he survive by not going to protect the king. I can at least respect that tho, however dump I think it is. It will probably take him seeing his king not protecting its people to wake him up. Deaths won’t do lol

MLL is well written, there are lots of lovely side issues where the unravelling of everyday lies is insightful…
Haha same! My dearest and moving are no doubt the best on air dramas right now (having watched mask girl) but MLL has a decent plot for a cute romcom. I actually liked it a lot. But ML acting was ok at the beginning but once the plot moves to a place that requires more acting range from ML I started can’t follow the story anymore cos he is so bad lolllllll of coz it’s not all idols some of my favorite actors are actually idols too but he’s no doubt one of the lesser ones… kinda sad cos MLL has a good plot and it has worked for 4 episodes

I dropped MLL on the first episode I know when I will enjoy a drama sometimes is not only about quality its about…
I LOVE MY DEAREST with all my heart since ep1 like I rewatch the episodes or scenes for more than 20 times or sth but I can still appreciate the fluffiness in my lovely liar lol of coz with my dearest and moving getting better and better MLL is definitely losing its charm this week but a cute romcom that works can also be fun to watch. Not all romcom has the same effect (sorry like KTL the plot sucked so bad) MLL actually has a decent plot for what it is. But it’s always the case silly romcoms having more popularity than the truly good dramas 🥲 I have gotten used to it by now sigh

I think they should be about 16 years old. Judging by the story itself, where the girls were given very young…
also people have much shorter lifespans too. But in most of the history and places in world now many women are getting married at even younger age just as soon as their period comes and can be a mother.

Anyone that likes to write articles or is eloquent that fell in love with this hidden gem, please write an article…
I have been tweeting non stop. But sadly majority of the dramas I love always get a low rating cos they aren’t easy to watch lol

I always wait for new released drama to stop airing before I watch it.. I carefully avoid spoilers and watching…
I would say the FL was equally as good. Ep4 she really carried all the scenes.

Yay! We’ll find out tmr morning how the rating is for ep 5 :)
Saw the real time ratings shoot up to 15-18 today. Last week it was more like 10-13. (Real-time isn’t final, usually it cuts by half or more as the final rating) so we should see an increase from ep4!

Did you even bother watch drama first? Age gap makes sense in this drama. And can you stop with age gap debate?…
I cannot even imagine anyone would think a 45 and 32 is weird age gap….. she’s 32 not 18… she’s “young” but you better be a matured and growth adult by 32. I don’t understand how 45 and 32 is weird… lol

No. In this drama there is a very specific reason for him to be older. He has to be older and more experienced…
This is not a fictional drama…. In real life noble women in 1600s Korea started getting shipped off to marriage at 14. This is a sageuk based in real historical events. They already adapted it to more modern days liking.

And also, not all age gap 12+ is bad, yes that’s bad if it’s 18 & a 30 years old because the younger one is not even an adult. 30+ and 40+ and you are telling me that’s sick? Lol oh please give me a break. Both 30+ and 40+ are adults enough to be making their own decisions. Too many married couples in real life has this much age gap it’s not even weird as long as both are matured adults.

I was looking it up in history realistically speaking in 1600s especially noble women are married off starting 14

if anyone have any recommendation of drama just like this one, kdrama, cdrama, japanese drama anything please feel…
Maybe you can check out this writer’s previous works? The level of grounded realism and attention to details… there isn’t a lot of shows have this same feeling

I am not understanding you- what exactly was a copy-paste of events? Which part of the drama is incoherent? I…
:) there’s a fundamental difference between subjective judgements vs objective judgements. But as I said, because I understand this is a free forum, I already told you you are free to be you and agree to disagree. Not sure what more you want :)

Literally, if that’s your concept of “typical” drama events and copy and paste characters. Hmmm other than you be you I don’t have any other things to say so good day 😅 hopefully others will make their own (and better) judgements.
