in reality, it's all about a look when two people involve if a 40 y woman is slim and sexy then that's okay. If…
In reality there can be love between any age/bodytupe/looks people. Sadly, in shows we can see only good looking people fall in love with other good looking people and so on
Loved this drama! one of the best romances I watched in years! for anyone who's looking for a well-written romance…
This drama was like a jentle touch on my cheek. Such beautiful and deep communication between the main leads. As for the fictional cheating, oh god, for these 2 partners (wife and husband of the main leads), cheating is the lighter punishment for their really bad quality characters-esp her husband! I had to watch such a s@tty character for centuries!
First of all, dramas/movies/art in general do not have ANY obligation to give messages, teach people things etc.
Its about telling a story. By color, by pictures, by animation, by notes and musical signs, by stone or marble.
If you want reality messages, or afterwards conclusions that are indeed real, watch a documentary.
Art is about telling stories. Either of the creator(s) or of the way he/she experiences and interpretes life. The audience doesnt have to relate, approve, vote for anything. We watch, we admire, we reject, we dislike, we get amazed and thats all about art -ok sometimes art products make us think more, or imagine or even change our mindset, or even more broaden our horizons a bit.
But that's all.
Second, love can be born in any i mean ANY kind of circumstances. We may fall in love with someone who is terminally ill, we may find love at the cemetary, when we bury a family member, or after an accident where we almost died, Attraction, may it be superficial as lust or spontaneous magnetism, may it be deeper connection that leads to love, can occur and exist in every possible life's environment.
Love is not something that 20+ targeting dramas show. It's that too, but not only that. Leaving here my two cents for all these who commented on the "adultery" and "morality" depicted.
Love does not necessarily mean that people involved are good, kind or they will become better human beings during the procedure of loving, its just lov, it is what it is. People should stop idealizing feelings and accept their human nature, which is full of flaws, charisma, able for the best and the worst.
Last but not least, since when a child of divorced parents is doomed to be unhappy?
Shows that are too real to be digested, should be watched by the appropriate audience.
Everyone else who gets triggered, can watch virgin 35yo cold hearted CEO's falling in love with bubbly girls (which according to them is more realistic-it doesnt matter that it never happens in real life whatsoever) or cartoons with the sign: "for audience under 15"
Actually you should delete your commente because SYJ already apologized admitting that the messages between them were all true (which is fine, people make mistakes). But overall, your comment does not depict the truth.
whats wrong with being virgin at 30 like be fr bruh. Sex is only okay if you're married in my opinion. like why…
Of course its my business to criticize a drama. Thats why all people are here (maybe except you and some other weirdos). I wont take your permission to write. I didnt forbid anyone for living the way they want. You are the one with fascistic dogmas not me. Now take your block and go play.

The end of discussions is not something you or anyone are entitled to order. So watch your mouth and go somewhere else to play, this is MDL not your playground. As for your fav subject-sex-you can do whatever you want to yourself, and guess what...you cant do anything about other people's activities, bedwise or others. Live with that.
whats wrong with being virgin at 30 like be fr bruh. Sex is only okay if you're married in my opinion. like why…
Of course sex without protection can lead to pregnancy thats why we prevent it. And STDs-you can still have them even if you have sex with only your husband, unless you get married while you re both 12yo, which is illegal all over the civilized world. Im not here to lecture kids about sex -sorry. What you write hardly makes sense. I suggest you should get some sex education even if you live in a country that is not allowed. Its really sad to see people expressing such misanthropistic opinions.

What you wrote is bad: "have sex only for reproduction". As for the child thing, i hope you know about birth control, condoms, pills etc. Or else you are living in a very dark time or space so i can only feel bad for you. Human beings have sex because its their nature to enjoy it, to being intimate as an expression of love and feel another human being while they fulfill their BASIC instict.

Human beings (and dolphins) are the only mammals that have sex for pleasure, besides for reproduction. Sorry thats our nature. If you dont like it you have every right to never get intimate with no one.
I agree...one of my first kdramas and I hoped for a noona drama.Didn't know, that this kind of word existet then…
I know right? A noona romance in that dark environment would shake the drama world-plus she was the "evil" hero since ep1. Imagine the "Evil" powerful woman paired with that die hard guy! awwwwww im getting goosebumps already! pf kdrama writers of this genre never brake out of the cliche line-weak girl saved by superhero boy with traumatic past bla bla bla boooooriiiiiinggggg!
Love is the most beautiful thing in life. Including sex. 2 people living in a modern city, over 30yo and never had any kind of intimate relationship, yes they must have their issues. If its a clear choice by their nature (e.g. being asexual) of course its all right. But if there are other reasons such us religion, social beliefs, puritanism, fear of intimacy, shame etc, yes its wrong by default
You guys have to remember that certain networks and shows only allow a certain type of kissing. More often than…
Yeap i agree with all your points! Sadly a major amount of artistic feeling is lost in dramas/movies due to restrictions, politics, marketing, or even in dubbing -chinese dramas commit literally a crime by dubbing the actors-they themselves lose half of their performance even when they dub themselves, though i can get the reasons, but still, they butcher the whole project. Yes in Secret, i was so irritated by the forced ML love, he was shown clearly as an abuser, even when he had a change of heart towards her. And consider the fact that im old fashioned when it comes to portraying erotic affairs on shows, i mean i tolerate a good amount of aggression as long as it serves the plot, but that scene in the car where he forced himself on her and her being defensive for about 2 minutes it gave me VERY bad vibes, i couldnt get any kind of love/passion/affection. When a hero has a change of heart, eg from hate-revenge to love, he/she MUST have at least 1-2 scenes where you explain his inner fight and a kind of redemption before you turn him into a love puppy. They didnt do such thing thus our facepalms! Major fail. As for civil conversations here...well i ve seen a lot of haters in MDL, and i will never understand why. I wouldnt fight over an actor/actress even if i got paid lol! Thanks for the conversation and happy drama watching dear!
(as much as i love and enjoy kdramas, sometimes i wanna go back in time and watch latin soapies which i never liked but at least they always had very convincing passion scenes even when the show itself was boring as hell hahahha)

As for actors, i insist that for an actor to have such demands, its ok, as long as he/she picks dramas that dont depict any kind of love affairs as i said before. I agree that there certain factors due to company/production team/ sponsors etc that have their own rules but we as viewers receive the result. And the result is ugly and unprofessional when we watch such cold not artistic not convincing scenes. Same as with army themed dramas: you cant portray a soldier with a body of a lawyer. Soldiers are fit, if you present them otherwise, then the audience just dont get it and the show sinks. As a conclusion to the above: personally i blame everyone cause dramas/movies are an enseble work. I blame it on the direction team, on the production, on actors, on everyone that has a word to the final result. Creators must respect the story, the script, the narrative. They have to convince us. And they are paid for it. Thats showbiz

Teletumbies would be a good idea too.
With all due respect
