This! And lue xue yi seems to be quite good at these lingering gazes and creating tension…looking forward.

I think this is exactly the kind of groveling I would enjoy. Our man needs to work really hard to prove himself worthy of her after snatching her.

Funny how one character can completely shape your impression of an actor. I almost blacklisted Tan Songyun after watching The Sword and the Brocade because I really disliked her character. Then I watched her in Road Home and thought she was fantastic. Now I’ve just started Against the Current, and I must say—I’m officially a fan. She’s such a great actress; she conveys exactly the right emotions without ever overdoing anything.

I prefer how her character is built. Just focus on living first. Plus she is not supposed to let anyone know she is still alive.

Great acting review of yoo seung ho

Agree on this. Considering how sick and complex seungwon character it it would have been great if he has a backstory and not just label
Him as psycho for no reason,

I think he did play a villain in his earlier years, in Missing You. He was just transitioning into adult roles at the time, and this is probably the first major villain role he’s taken on again in years.

Am I the only one who thinks Yoo Seung-ho has been stealing the show in these last few episodes? His presence is so terrifying and commanding that the rest of the cast almost gets unintentionally overshadowed whenever he appears. His portrayal actually reminds me of Namgoong Min in Remember: War of the Son—except back then, Yoo Seung-ho was the good guy. How ironic.

He’s Yoo Seung-ho. He started out as a child actor, so he already has over 20 years of acting experience under his belt. Even without knowing his background, you can already tell from his performance just how experienced he is…

Same. Yoo Seung-ho’s portrayal in Flex X Cop actually reminds me of Namgoong Min in Remember. In both cases, the villains end up stealing the show. It’s not that the main leads aren’t good—they are—but the villain’s character, acting, and sheer presence are so strong that they somehow end up overshadowing the rest of an equally talented cast.

He is such an insanely good actor. The whole atmosphere changes everytime he is on.

He was great in ep 12 of flex x cop season 2. So proud of him

I am probably in the minority but i have a feeling there is a plot twist about yoo seung ho’s character. While all along he was projecting this creepy image, i get the feeling His is more a victim
Carrying some Trauma based on his conversarion with his mother. Well but i might be wrong.

Have you guys watched his scenes in flex x cop 2?

You know an actor has seriously levelled up when he can make a whole scene feel tense and creepy just by being still 😭 A slight tilt of the head, those tiny pauses, the deep smoky eyes, the way he lowers or shifts his voice… Yoo Seung-ho is doing SO much with so little.

He has always been a good actor, but I really feel like theater has taken him to another level. There’s so much more control, restraint, and precision now. Nothing is overdone, yet every little movement feels deliberate.

I’m honestly so happy seeing this version of him. I can’t wait to see him soar.

I honestly feel the same way. They’ve been dropping teaser after teaser since Episode 2, yet all of his actual scenes so far have been so short.

On another note, considering how little screen time Yoo Seung-ho has had, he’s all over Instagram as if he were part of the main cast. 😂

I suspect seungwon is not the real villain, he is more a victim or hiding heavy trauma,

He deserves it. He needs to make a comeback because his talent and looks are too good to be hidden for so long.

Annoying. Been milking him
By using him as bait and then show him for around ten seconds.

Great it is available in netflix
