Flew over my radar.. even though i wanted to watch this due to JJH.... but reading the comments... its not a happy…
ending isn't about happy or sad, the series is unfinished, it is promising towards season 2. Would you call it a unhappy ending if the series is still at part 1, only half way completed.

I think we need a Season 2 or two more episodes. I liked the leads and could see a connection beginning between…
yeah i am worried about the last part, although some are saying it won't happen but even if that happens, I would still watch season 2 with an open mind. if season 2 is also well written like season 1 I am so in.

donโ€™t said no other season ๐Ÿฅน
they might be announcing, it takes time with Ott platforms to announce, but there will be definitely season 2. The writer is credible for season 2. Let's hope disney doesn't come with dumb reason and not wave green flag.

The last episode actually made me very happy, I was so worried how they are going to wrap so much stuff in just 2 episodes, but with the last episode it became clear there is going to be season 2. The only thing I hope is no scandals till it airs completely or no current actors to be refusing to act in season 2. And of course, hope season 2 is released within a year or even more soon if possible.

Last two episodes were a mess. What a way to ruin a good show.
it isn't a mess, the show clearly indicates there will be season 2.

No, I think they made this to show she is alive and he is alive as well, separately
i really hope so and even if my worse fear comes true, I will still watch season 2 as long as it is written as good as this.

This trend ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
this drama has potential for season 2, I am not just saying season 2 is needed because I like the drama. Only 2 episodes left and there is so much to uncover, even if they wrap it decently, there are so many things that could be explored . Which is why I feel like a season 2 is a good thing. The writer gave Stranger a season 2, so I am hoping on that.

let it be like one spring night, I am talking about the feels. It's been so long since we had full on adult style romance. I think the last realistic adult romance was tell me that you love me. Realistic adult love story dramas are rare, I am so in for it. Please be well written and directed drama.

It's really unfair the writer for my dearest wasn't nominated for Baeksang awards for best screenplay. How blinded are those award committees. And even the director also didn't get nominated for best director either. What the hell is this even.

Hi, I really loved reading your review. I am a big fan of K-dramas but I always like reviews which are as constructive as yours. Even if a drama I loved so much a got a bad review by any users but puts hi/her criticism constructively, they always have my respect. I only wonder "why haven't they liked, I really like it, but I guess that's how they felt" and just leave the reviewers it as it is. Please don't take these negative replies to heart. You have every right to put your personal opinion here. And there are many people like me who will support you. In future also don't hold yourself while reviewing. Hope this comment section hasn't discouraged you.

I actually expected highly on the marriage element. I wanted to see their journey of falling back in love again realistically. But that didn't happen, they just fell in love again on the premise that they still have feelings left for each other. It was too surface level, no deep communication. Most of the situations they created to show each other's sincerity or feelings was too drama written, something that won't happen in real life, which might also be the reason why I didn't feel for them as couple, because it was just so drama without any slightest of realistic element.

people these days asks way too much from a drama. it has to be historically correct, politically correct, it should…
look at the drama as in whole, if it is making too much of a fat shaming scenes and more repeatedly even I will also complain and say this is wrong. The people who are making fun of the obesity woman is none other than her boyfriend and the con gym girl mostly and they both are villains in the show. Her brother made fun of her in one or two scenes but that is reasonable because you can see their characters don't get along and he always treats other people with same zing as he is moody and depressed. You will know when a drama or movie is actually making a offensive content. I don't which country you are from, if it is accessible to you, there is an Indian film called "Animal, 2023 Indian film", it is the most misogynistic movie ever. It is on Netflix. You will know what it is like if a movie is purposefully written with hatred towards a particular gender or society.

Westerners and their obsession with, "offensive"....Lorddddd!!!!!
people these days asks way too much from a drama. it has to be historically correct, politically correct, it should be inclusive, not too many swearwords, it should be diverse, it should not offend any part of society or a person in slightest. At this rate you won't have a drama instead you will be be having a long boring socio lesson split into 12 to 16 episodes.

i love this drama, it so fresh and a unique concept. Especially Yoon ja yoo character, who actually acts like how most CEOs of companies who actually bring new age discovery to the world. I want season 2 and even season 3. Truth be told, this drama has so much potential to go further in plot. I'm just afraid due to lack of viewers, they may not wave green flag for more seasons.

I have dropped this drama and you have well spoken what exactly I felt. I was expecting something really deep, especially towards the element of marriage and familial relationship. But when it turned out to be same things I saw in many other drama I couldn't watch it anymore. I just lost interest. But as a general drama, this is still a decent drama, a one time watch at the most for me.
GrumpyNana Apr 15, 2024
i agree with you on cliche characters. They could have written this show with characters who have more depth. The MIL is I hate son in law because he comes from poor family. That's all the reason she has and same with other family members. Even ML family is typical rom com village characters you see. These characters are so much repeated in many dramas that at this point it just feels like one is copying from another. This drama is more like your usual rom coms just done in different style. The whole drama is decent, but I won't call it extraordinary.
