LTCFL was sort of OK but the 'you must conform to the accepted beauty standards' bit was hard to crunch. She wasn't beautiful and successful till she had lost the glasses, curls, tan etc.

Kooky for the sake of kookiness only really works for short periods without something solid to frame it. This does not have that framework which is a waste of a couple of good actors.

Good sold watch a little dated but otherwise fab.

Ah! I am more upset when I see her getting emotionally and physically abused in a show that aired in the same year she committed suicide and not so many years after her hubby beat her.

Once upon a small town where al the adults regress into children at the drop of a calf or a peach.
I mean it's all very nice but why do they all have single digit ages when it comes to behaviour? Is it a village for people with developmental issues?

Hmm tried a couple of episodes and struggled with it - visually it's great but the acting left me icy cold. Sun Qian I didn't mind but the chaps on the whole were terribly wooden.
I might dip back in if only for the well choreographed fight scenes (strangely I can cope with a featherlight chick beating up boys due to it being Thai Chi far more than if they were using hard martial arts)
A major factor for my lack of interest was the way she got into college it made it hard for me to root for her.

Surprisingly enjoyable so far though the best subs I have found so far are spoiled by another out of sync set floating above them - Oh Well. It's unsubbed on YT, badly subbed on DM and with overwritten subs on DC

Questionable subject matter handled with questionable comedy with questionable writing and .....
Na not for me.

I've stopped watching and started the novel instead.
