As for HOB season 2, we have no news yet, but i believe it cannot air this year as they, for sure, haven't finished with the animation; probably quarter 1 or 2 of 2022! Thousand Autumns season 2 also gets season 2 very soon, this year if there aren't any unexpected things happening. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts airing after MDZS S3 finishes.

But Sleuth of Ming dynasty is pretty comedic and enjoyable, so enjoyable that it even has crossdressing from the main actors:))))) How i wish HYX to air soon, alas...weibo talkers don't have as much optimism ever since there are whispers of League of Nobleman airing soon

Currently watching "And the Winner is Love" which is ok-ish if you like romance. The plot seems straighforward for now (currently on 9th episode). Would recommend to watch Nirvana in Fire if you like bromance and historical, costume setting. King's avatar for gaming/modern/bromance genre. The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty for historical/detective/bromance/ slightly comedy drama. Word of Honor for straight blatant flirting BL drama:))) :DWe might need to wait a tad more for HYX to release...

Currently slowly watching And the winner is Love to lose time until HYX airs, and i am all gooey for Yunxi's acting and flirting! We really won the lottery with having him as Chu Wanning!

:( I find it so weird to watch cliche modern romantic dramas. Especially with Xiao Zhan whom i got used to see with long hair due to Wei Wuxian role!

:))))))) Hahaa, I wish! I believe we are all missing to watch a good drama! Especially since 2021 didn't had many good dramas that have been able to hook us up!

The timing would be right and if they don't air..they lose a big spotlight time because them airing the drama after game release and manhua at almost the same time period, is the best for them considering the attention they can get from all sides. But...let's hope for the best!

The confirmed dramas that start in the 1st week of August from Tencent are pretty weak and don't look like they will have a huge viewership count. Unless they suddenly add, let's say, a drama like Who Rules The World who has Yang Yang as a main lead, to air, it might be very possible for Immortality or SPL to air. Usually they almost always have a good costume drama airing per month and these two are way over their scheduled time. If not, it's clear that they wanna delay it to Q4 of the year or Q1 of 2022. Otherwise, i just don't see why else they wouldn't air it since they have slot time.

The leaks for Immortality were low quality pics, taken by fans while hiding. Many were deleted pretty fast afterwards. The ones that were leaked afterwards were more of a ploy; a game of advertising to fire up the fans. Aka Tencent trolling us terribly:))) Immortality is a high budget drama with top notch actors, so it's pretty famous just because of the cast already! !..Yeah, about the HOB cast you are right..they cannot be changed, but who knows..maybe they will surprise us. Just like Xiao Sean surprised us with Wei Wuxian, and how GongJun did with Wen Kexing!

Way too many rumors about HOB. Those were not the official wigs and costumes. I don't think many people remember, but at the very beginning of the filming of The Untamed, they also posted some pics with Xiao Zhan - Wei Wuxian in a weird cheap looking costume and ugly wig. Some people also exploded and though it will flop terribly. Considering how hush-hush they were about the casting, and how popular the novel, manhua and animation are, the chances of them leaking out the real setting pics are 0. Also, people need to remember that the team who will help with producing is very good: director of Untamed, CGI effects from team who did Ashes of Love, and so on

August release date is just a rumor ( one of the many since this fandom has plenty of those). Best bet is that it will air next year or 4th quarter of 2021. I do wonder if the person who started the rumor confused the live-action with the manhua which has been officially announced to release in August

Nope, for now on it will be 1 chapter/month for those that can't/haven't bought the novel. Those that have bought the novel will get more than 1 chapter/month depending on the translator availability. Suika, one of the translators, just mentioned "more frequently"so that will depends alot. Maybe they will update to a more fixed number of chapters. I am grateful that at least someone translates these awesome novels and I truly hope that in the future we will be able to support the authors by buying a physical copy in English or a language that we could all understand.

Personally, I have read the machine translation that someone has already arranged a bit to be more understandable which was ok for me. Fortunately, that version is still up and can be downloaded, which I advise all fans to do since you never know when it will disappear also all of the sudden. I am also pretty bumped since 1 chapter per month means that the free translation would be done after more than 10 years which well...many things can happen in that time. Buying for most of us from Chinese websites is just so troublesome. I tried so many weeks for access World of Honor early episodes and I just wasn't able to do it because my payment wouldn't go through so it was a waste of time. Probably same would happen if I tried to buy the novel as well...If only they would have an international release to buy a hard copy...

From what i understand, the ones who are doing the translations want to do right by the author and allow mostly people who have already purchased the chinese novel and can do a proof of showing a receipt or something like that....Old gdrive links don't work anymore as they have moved all over here: https://2hatl.carrd.co/ . People who can make a purchase, will be able to read more chapters per month while those that are unable to, will read 1 chapter per month for free. What I understood, at least.
