I have an mp3 on my Spotify playlist for his Rain and You performance. Before they guessed who he was he figured he was a good actor.. Go figure. He made that song his own, and it's so much more sublime than the one the guy in Hospital Playlist 2 did, but when they played it in the episode I was like "I KNOW THIS SONG!!!" 🤣🤣🤣

Given the pace and the number of episodes left, if anything it'll be rushed rather than dragged out.

I have to remind myself that the (paraphrased) tag line for this drama was the king who put his country over love and the court lady who wanted to protect her chosen life, along with "mournful court romance".

This drama, so far, is delivering exactly that. If we as viewers chose to ignore it and instead expect some fluffy romance, then we're in for a disappointment.

Leads getting together without continued conflict, if it's not going to end any time soon, gets boring, imo.

I know people want them to already get on with the romance, but then what do we do for 7 more episodes? Look at them make doe eyes? I mean, I would still watch that (like Junho's vlog when he went to the pottery studio, he complained he wasn't saying anything worth streaming as he was talking about the weather, I beg to differ 🤣), but it wouldn't be the amazing TV this drama is right now.

So many ways to progress, man, I can't wait to see how they do it!!

I can imagine that once they're in wedded bliss, they'll be moving the story quickly through the prince and princess (I saw something on ig with a boy looking like a royal of sorts and it wasn't San as a kid, anyway San as a kid was older than the prince by the time he died) through to the poster end. They spent a lot of time at the start of the drama in cute scenes and such, but that was always to build the relationship, once they're there, there won't be much to show that's compelling to watch, imo
