I know of makjangs that have had extra episodes added to further the story, not seasons or special episodes, and they're wild. I don't think this will be like that at all, tho, since it's just 1 and I think we all agree they need the extra room to close this out satisfactorily.

Special episodes normally are recaps, behind scenes, or building on sub-plots, but in my experience not necessarily continuations of the main story.
