Someone remembered that Deok Im always faints after a stressful event, so it's in tune!https://twitter.com/aesoonaesoo/status/1469480647798321155?s=20
FOR REALS! there are so many details, visual and story-wise, in this drama that it takes someone furiously making notes on every episode to keep track lol. i'm thankful for those folks too 😍
My favorite part of this drama is how the characters lurk behind trees to catch others in action, I laugh and laugh. Other than that, this is one of the dumbest dramas I've seen in a while that hasn't yet made me want to drop it. LDH fills out pants nicely these days, too. That's all I got.
Things like this and the temple of doom have led me to watch this more as the retelling of a fairy tale, rather…
Honestly I think it's on purpose, more of a touch of magical realism. It's like how she seemed to jump rather than fall on him in the tub, how they seemed to embrace rather than fall right away in the pond, shooting the tiger right in the eye mid-leap, etc., etc. I don't think it's by mistake.
Rewatching again, the kite flying scene is not logical. According to Deok Kim, it takes two hours at running speed…
Things like this and the temple of doom have led me to watch this more as the retelling of a fairy tale, rather than something 100% factual. If you choose to eschew logic, physics, etc., and instead let the storytelling take over (Deok Im's expertise, after all) it's much more enjoyable 😊
How he looks at her all the time! And those purple outfits are everything btw. I think this drama has enchanted…
If you take that last scene on its own, it's a bit of a stretch, but if you consider the near-touch they had when she was in his bed, it's a fulfillment. Ahh their feelings are so pure
this drama needs to be watched in a dark room, on HD, full screen, all the powers. so much detail in the textures,…
I've tried both ways and prefer my laptop only because I can see it further up close. My TV is too far from the couch and I couldn't see the details as well - like every single little flap on Tae Ho's armor is stamped, and I didn't notice it till I saw it in the laptop - but it has a very nice screen that competes with the TV hehe
Today's episode gave me super strong Six Flying Dragons vibes in a really good way - between the ninja ladies and the courtyard battle, adrenaline was pumping big time. All I missed was Yoo Ah In burning the names of his enemies in the pyre as their names were called out upon their death. SO EPIC.
