To be fair, the Naver robot translations on some comments mentioned that there's no broadcast on the 31st, so I'm really unsure. It could be the translation is totally off, however I know that's the night the Gayo Daejejeon airs, and it's possible it conflicts with the drama airing schedule, but idk. Btw Junho is co-hosting that event 😀
In the minority here , but I hope no kiss till last scene of last episode. Keeps the tension and expectations…
Omg if they do fish kisses I will rage. I'm with you on extending the chase as much as possible, but if they give us something, make it good or leave it out
Legit extension by 1 week, not a special broadcast - this is one prayer answered 😀
"As a result of OSEN's coverage on the 9th, MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Red End of the Sleeve' was planned as 16 episodes, but ended with 17 episodes. This is not a special broadcast, but one extension of the main broadcast to achieve a more solid ending."
LOL...I am so glad Korea is like 17 hours ahead of my time. When I wake up on Friday the episode with be there…
You can also turn on notifications on viki so it pushes when it's up. Last Friday it was late by like an hour, it was painful!!! Talk about spam refresh 🤣

That's the peak for ep 8. Previous peak was like 11? 12? Ish? It was the last minute or sth like that too. Avg for 7 was 10.7% nationwide and for 8 it was 10.5%

Totally agreed!! While Yi San here I wouldn't call an anti-hero per se, the end of ep7 toes the line, he's very much a standard hero elsewhere, but the depth of his character is just amazing! I'm so glad I watched The Throne for some context on the trauma that colors his reactions. For real, a good anti-hero is my jam - Yoo Ah In's Bang Won and Yoo Yeon Seok's Dong Mae are among my favorites.

Sure thing! That's a huge appeal for me here with this Yi San, the spectrum of emotions make it a truly three-dimensional character not often seen in dramas. It's no wonder Junho is getting so much praise, between the script and the delivery, it's a nice 1-2 punch.
Junho is amazing in this (just like in Just Between Lovers). But as far as I remember Yi San from the drama with…
What has been said in interviews is that this is the youthful, immature Yi San, so while they're the same historical figure, the emphasis on the state of mind and actions is coming from a different perspective. I never saw the 2007 version so idk if he was shown at the same age as here, but if anything he was still royalty, so this would make it much more realistic than someone who does not show anger when being challenged. My 2 cents ✌️
And thank you Kim Kyung Nam for asking for too much money? 😂 What a blessing in disguise.
