Why does it have to be Texas? I've been wondering for several years now what South Korea's film and tv series fascination is with Texas.... because it's my home state.

It's good to see Cho Byeong Gyu returning to the silver screen. Wishing the film the best seeing as how it is produced by my favorite Seo In-guk with his gorgeous self.

I like seeing Park Shin-hye step up her acting game. I'm glad she isn't taking on those mother roles the industry likes to stereotype actresses into once they marry and become mothers.

The world doesn't deal in "what if's" it operates in facts. And it matters not where the alleged incident took place. No one bullied anyone into deleting their post...they did so because they were clearly lying. And the other person, if they he did all the things they accused him of...the show up in court and stand your ground.

The only reason they refuse is because they are clearly lying and they knew no South Korean court could forced them to present themself to testify in what is a civil case. Hence, not appearing means they are liars.

Wow...I'm glad his legal team appealed this to a higher court, because the Judges presiding over this clearly lacked any sort of common sense beyond what the law might prescribe. I mean if the accuser refuses to present themself to a court in Seoul to defend their statements accusing him of bullying for which the accuser says ruined their ability to live a normal life...in the absence of them coming to defend their statement and finding that the other 3 accusers lied and deleted their remarks, I would as a Judge conclude that the man did not bully anyone and would have ruled in his favor. And would have further issued a judgement against the accuser, that they would bear the cost of all court and legal fees for the accused.

It's about time this man be allowed to get back to his career, which was halted because of someone's disgusting game. Really it makes me wonder if this wasn't an inside industry job, and those in position to ruin his career are sitting right in South Korea, knowing that it is impossible to fight an accusation from someone who lives abroad and refused to come to the country of the accused to legally handle this matter in a court of law, effectively getting away with ruining his career, knowing there is nothing he can do about it.

I digress....again, I hope the higher court fixes this issue for him and a few clear articles on main new outlets will be able to let other agencies and producers and directors know that he is not a problematic person and it's okay to start casting him again in dramas.

Happy to see the return of such a successful franchise. I also cannot wait for 2026, which will see his return in the highly anticipated sequel to the successful 2016 drama Signal.

The comments are wild. They seem to be made by a bunch of people that cannot grasp the nuances of marriage...falling in and out of love with someone... individual change that propels or pulls people apart...etc.

No one has to be at fault that the marriage didn't last, maybe both of them grew indifferent towards each other and wanted out. Marriage doesn't mean you get to hold people hostage, if one or both want to leave.

I'd say for those placing blame on him and accusing him of seeking a new relationship now that celebrity and stardom have increased for him, need to go get a relationship and experience some harsh reality and see if you can hang onto the person when they want to leave or you'll just suck it up and stay in misery, when your heart left along time ago...

Anyways, divorce is never easy, I've been there...usual someone or both have checked out long before it gets to the hire lawyers and file for divorce part. One or both of the people have already gone their separate ways, they are just living under the same roof, motivated perhaps by a child or children...or other life factors. And sometimes those factors aren't enough to keep you tied to the person.

I wish both him and his ex-wife well on their next journey but more importantly I pray their son gets all the support he needs, so their parting ways doesn't heavily affect him.

It wouldn't have been an issue, if they hadn't of cancelled Jimmy Kimmel like they did, only to give him his job back, them and ABC. Otherwise, people would still be subscribers and droning on without a care in the world.

Personally I didn't cancel my subscription, I paused it. Why, because when I thought about it, who protested for me when I lost my job under this administration. Where was Jimmy Kimmel when over 400,000 Black women like myself have lost their jobs and haven't gotten a job since.

So, while it was an unfortunate thing that happened, Jimmy Kimmel had a parachute (financial) that many don't have, so he was going to be alright. Anyways, at least until December I won't be billed. The shows will still be there when my pause account returns to normal.

I loved your critique of this drama. You brilliantly pointed out all of the nuanced issues, that I saw in the same drama, yet ended up loving despite them. I still rated the drama high. The only thing disappointing to me what that the main lead protagonist did not end up together, and I think it was addressed in the context of Hyo-min being 11 years younger than Seok-hoon. But I also believe this was a highly debated issue in real-time with South Koreans, the age gap between the real life actor and actress; as well as the age gap between the characters they portrayed and the Mentor-Mentee dynamic. All that aside, I liked that it was a light drama and I didn't have to focus too much or use my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys degree (lol) to figure out anything.

Yeah I just think South Korean people lack common sense and love herd culture on top of oppression culture...they are an envious people and jealous people. And they really should do something about their lack of compassion for someone who is like Scoups, who received a medical exemption and exercised his right to forgo service.

Anyways, I'm sure one day it'll be a world where no military is needed. But it probably won't happen in my or your lifetime.
