What happened with Suga?
Don't worry...Army's are standing united and they hate it. We aren't saying what he did was right but it was not enough to cause the chaos that Kmedia and false fans caused. We Army are just happy that he is okay and that this issue that any non-celebrity person could experience was treated with a common sense mindset in the end. We are now focused on J-Hope discharge from the military next month. But we also continue to support all of the members with the fullness that is Army.

And here I was thinking I could relax and take a nap for a few years...hahahaha, I was wrong. BTS paying fandom member since 2015!!!

His issue is finally over as of yesterday...and I couldn't be happier. But the haters from other fandoms, now want him to be put out of BTS, which isn't gonna happen, not if the fans have anything to say about it. It's just disgusting the scandal and cancel culture South Korea has.

I agree with most of your post. The sexual assault I am not familiar with. Also, I was crushed to hear about Lee…
Definitely, the timing is very suspect. But I can't believe that not many of his fans or fellow actor friends showed any support for him. That's what bothered me.

Nope they don't...your just guilt, if your a celebrity. Yes, the part about him having raped a man, was announced s few months ago, while he had been going through this. I'm like I don't believe it. Honestly, I feel like they were after this man because he was vocal about the inequality women faced in the country and some other political concerns he's voiced his opinion in. Do t take my word for it but search it out, and you'll find articles over everything I said.

I debated heavily about even logging back in to MDL to comment, but I just wanted to say I actually agree with…
You felt disgusted, but you watched all 4 episodes...yup, that's right, you watched all the episodes...that's means you enjoy every second of what you watched. If you felt some moral conviction later, that's on you and personal to you, don't try to ruin or take away entertainment for others...talk about gaslighting people, that's what you are doing all over and throughout your comment...hypocrite that's what you are.
Lily Alice Sep 8, 2024
I read the article and without going through everyone's comment, I will just say my peace....1st of all it's not Western as in Americans who are to blame for what another's country decides to do within their entertainment arena...STOP BLAMING AMERICANS! you all act like the people of South Korea are not educated enough to know what it is they want to convey in their entertainment. You all act like South Koreans are a country of naive virgins...they have more disgusting and oversexed habits that do not even exist in the Western world.

I've watched the drama and did not find anything wrong with it. The acting was wonderful, the cinematography, and costumes, and the sex scenes were all well done. I'm not South Korean, but I do have enough educational attainment to know that Koreans as a people sprange from Chinese Mongolians, so the clothing and hair would be historically correct, no matter how they want to question and deny it. South Koreans, have been occupied by many, not just Chinese and the Japanese, so it would stand to reason they had to adopt the ruling occupiers clothing styles, foods, language, and mannerisms. No matter how hard they try to get away from it....they aren't the ethnically pure race they want to be.

And for those disappointed and disgusted in the fact that these consenting adult actors and actresses, agreed and engaged in the depiction of sexual acts on camera...get over it. They had no issue with it, and the female actresses that everyone's concerned about had not expressed being uncomfortable or feeling abused. You are all worried about the females but none of you are worried about the males that are also apart of these sexually explicit scenes, as if they have no feelings and forced their female co-leads to engage in the act...I call Bullcrap! You are all hypocrites!!! You have no issues, in private salivating over and lusting after these very actors and actresses but then want to play and pretend to be holier than thou. I'll end by saying don't watch the drama, if it's that disturbing to you...but nope, you watched all 4 released episodes because deep down you liked and enjoyed it...and you probably have rewatched those exact scenes multiple times. Don't be a hypocrite!!! Just enjoy it!!!

This is a shame. This is what a backward thinking country looks like. Notice they acknowledge his psychological troubles with depression, etc...that have been the contributors to him being unable to sleep for years...however, that is no excuse for seeking out and being provided legal medical care. I mean it's not like he walked up to a dealer on the street and said, 'hey, you got that propofol?' Right, he was administered the drug by legal doctors...who abused his addiction. But what happened to the many/numerous medical professionals that over prescribed the drug to him...nothing, no mention of them. They are probably still operating their clinic and still financially benefiting off of those with issues.

The used this man, to cover up the dirty dealings of their countries 1st lady (the president of South korea's wife)...no mention of what will happen to her for stock manipulation and others crimes. They used Suga of BTS in an attempt to do the same thing, turn peoples attention away from the Investigator that was looking into the 1st Lady of South Korea (the President's wife) sudden death, calling it a suicide. They tried to use the now deceased actor Lee Sun-kyun (due to public pressure he put a period at the end of his own life) and accuse him of using drugs, which he was negative each time but that didn't stop them from dragging him before the press and to the jail on multiple occasions to cover up for rich chaebol heirs they'd caught using drugs on several occasions and let go...they also pulled G-Dragon into it.

At the tail end of this, they added that this man sexaully assaulted another male, while they were at a party in the same house with other males. I feel sorry that he has to go to prison for something, that should not have been considered a crime, as he legally obtained the drug. He needs treatment, not prison! Again, the most backward thinking people for people that are supposed to be so educated.

South Korea, the country where you get more jail time for drug offenses than literal gang rape. Imagine if they…
There drug laws are behind the times. I understand that they want to prohibit addiction by making strict laws that would deter people from engaging in the use...but I'm of the opinion that people don't just consume illegal drugs because there is nothing else to do...but they might be using to treat something that legalized drugs don't work to help. I mean my dad smoked marijuana, he got addicted during the Vietnam War...and I mean who wouldn't be addicted to something after surviving that hell. He was treated with the typical drugs by the military during that time but once discharged he stopped visiting the VA, and turned to street drugs. He lived with the addiction until he had a heart attack from smoking weed that was laced with meth and something else. He survived and he stopped smoking after being diagnosed with Cancer. And he probably got the cancer from smoking marijuana that had all kinds of things added to it over the years...

Long of the short, my dad had mental health issues, that he treated with street drugs...well when he could no longer smoke weed, he was given Demerol which is a legal opioid for pain management but has shown success in the treatment of drug addiction active users or those no longer using. He told my dad it was for pain...but it wasn't, it was for his mental health. So these people are treating some kind of trauma for which legal pharmaceuticals didn't work or they couldn't get anymore because of the expense or doctors wouldn't prescribe...like all those people who go hooked on Oxycotin and then when they couldn't get it anymore, they turned to street drugs...until Fentanyl replaced it.

Anyways, I'm saying I agree with you...the SK government need to get with the times, and get treatment facilities...using prison as a treatment method. They'll dry out in prison and be released to go find drugs again.
Lily Alice Aug 10, 2024
The South Korean government should be ashamed of themselves, but they're not. I mean, it isn't like he harmed anyone, except himself and to ask that he be sentenced to 4 years of incarceration for drug use, is a crying out shame. He does not need prison, he needs drug treatment and rehabilitation. A lot of people with substance abuse addictions didn't start abusing drugs because they wanted too, there was a clear cause and effect. The other issue of concern, is that none of the legal methods for which he used to obtain drugs, none of those people have been subject to prosecutions...because I'm sure they all traded evidence to convict the person whose the real victim here. I also believe that Yoo Ah-In is a target because he's so outspoken about his countries abusive and oppressive systems against the weaker class i.e., women, lgbtqia, etc.

I really pray that he is given a suspended sentence, after all they have dragged him through the mud and ruined any career he could possible have in SK. Also, they are harping on him...to escape from convicting those chaebol's that were the real druggies, who they'd let off the hook numerous times...haven't heard anything else about that cover-up...they were disclosed to get the heat off their backs when G-Dragon and the late actor Lee Sun-kyun (took his life) were accused of drug use...they used them to keep from prosecuting the ultra rich...and they are keeping Yoo Ah-In in the headlines for the same reason...making him a scapegoat. But no one is gonna question or go after real drug users and traffickers in SK, when they can throw actors and entertainers to the wolves.

He is a brilliant actor...I just wish he had more opportunities that are widely advertised. I've watched him in all of the dramas he's been showcased in. I keep hoping to see him in a drama where he is the lead, playing in a very passionate and sexy role...which he hasn't showcased in a long time or someone super sweet and protective like in Fated To Love, either way, I am wishing him more and more success.

I found this actor through a 2015 film he made...which was fantastic. I don't know about the other works he's been involved in, but just off the 2015 film...he should be more famous than he is. I will look through his other works, but it seems he hasn't been cast as the lead in anything in a great while. I don't know what the Japanese entertainment industry is like...but the cast directors and producers are sleeping. I don't know what this actor looks like in 2024 but if his visuals have held up, then he should be leading dramas and movies in abundance.

I don't know how he does it....the talent this man has. I've never laughed and loved the characters that he brings to life and then in the next drama hated the character he breathes life into, for example his character Lee Cheol Wook the Pawnshop Owner in Vincenzo....I loved, loved, loved that character vs Yoo Hyun Bo in Captivating King who I wanted to punch him in the chest repeatedly....

To me he is on a level comparative to Sung Dong-il, if you don't know this veteran South Korean actor, you can watch him in dramas like "The Cursed," where you just can't believe how evil he is and then see him in "Reply 1988," where he is the funniest father you've ever seen. Or Kim Byung-chul...the first time I saw him was in "The Goblin," as the evil Park Joong-he and then he played the Dr. Cha Jung- sook in Doctor Cha where he was a funny scumbag....anyways, I said all of that only to says he's in the same class of great actors.

I wish him more and more career success.

The picture needs to be updated!

This kiddo is a good actor. He's got presence. He kind of reminds me of a mini version of Stray Kids Hwang Hyunjin...it's the eyes.

Wishing he'll have a more prominent role in a blockbuster drama soon.

Exactly... this system is quite inhumane, especially since rich sons from Chaebols and influential politicians…
I think you are losing something in the original context of my message. Perhaps you should read my original message again and see if you gain perspective on what I was saying. I know war is ugly and I wish there was no need for it, and honestly these isn't a need...the reason it exist is because of greedy people in ever society or city that want more land, that want all the resources, etc...dominance and greed. If not for those things, everyone in the world would be at peace.
